“Sanghyuk,” Taekwoon cried, burring his face in his lover’s hair, “please wake up. Please don’t leave me.”

Images of how he’d found his lover only hours before flooded his mind. Blood was......it was everywhere. At first, he thought that Sanghyuk was dead and that was enough to destroy him. Thankfully, though, his lover still lived. How was a mystery since he had been injured to gravely, but Taekwoon was beyond thankful for it.

Now all he needed was for Sanghyuk to wake up and for the one who did this to die.

“Taekwoon?” Hakyeon called out softly as he entered the hospital room.

“What do you want?” Taekwoon growled, cuddling closer to Sanghyuk’s unconscious form.

“We found him,” Hakyeon said, carefully stepping closer, “the one who did this to Sanghyuk.”

“Who was it?” Taekwoon hissed, carefully pulling away from his lover and making his way out of the room, “where is he?”

“He’s one of the alphas that showed up,” Hakyeon explained, following closely behind, “from what Wonsik and Hongbin have been able to gather, he’s the one who killed Sanghyuk and Jaehwan’s pack as well.”

“What?” Taekwoon wheeled around, face twisted in anger, “He...I’ll murder him.”

“Taekwoon,” Hakyeon caught hold of the other’s arm before he could go anywhere, “think about this carefully. He—.”

“He hurt my mate,” Taekwoon snapped, yanking away from his friends hold, “not once, but twice. I’m not going to rest until he’d dead, until I’ve made him suffer for the pain he’s inflicted on Sanghyuk.”

“I know,” Hakyeon sighed, “I want to make him suffer as well, “but you can’t go chasing after him blindly. If you do.........Sanghyuk will want to see you when he wakes up and you can’t be there for him if you’re dead.”

Taekwoon paused, realizing that the other was right.

“We plan,” Taekwoon decided, “and then we kill him.”

“Agreed,” Hakyeon nodded and the pair returned to Sanghyuk’s room, wanting to watch over the one they both loved for the time being.
