There are earthquakes in my mind and butterflies in my stomach, as I wait for the car to arrive. Why was I even doing this? Something told me to go, but another something told me to run the opposite direction. I watched as a black car with tinted windows pulled up, and I realized something;
I moved to a new apartment. How the hell does he know where I live? He's too smart for his own good. He always knew when people changed their phone number, or relocated before they even did it. I shouldn't be as surprised as I am. Too late to run now, I think as I climb into the car, and thank the driver who opened the door for me. His house is on the opposite side of town, in a gated community that not even the best spy could break into. I had the opportunity to move here, but it's too...known. Everyone knows this place-- even if they can't get in and don't live here, they know about it. I wanted to be secluded. We pull up to his home. He's done some renovating, as his home is bigger than I saw last. Before I even make it to the door, he is standing there with a smirk on his face. Bastard. "So nice of you to show," he takes my hand and kisses it. "Nothing better to do." is all I say back. We walk inside, and my eyes scan the room, "It's changed," "Well it's been about 4 years since you were last here, so yeah, it's changed." he takes a bite. "I wonder why it's been so long," I bite back, but he gets the upper hand, "Yes, Sohee, why has it been so long?" His eyes bore into my soul, and I find myself unable to break his gaze. It's quiet for a few minutes, as we just stand there, staring at each other, then, "Are you going to feed me, or are we just going to reminisce?" I question. That smirk comes back, and he takes my hand and lead me to a formal dining area. "Formal dining areas--" "Are a waste of space," he cuts me off, "Yes, I know Sohee.
