Quitting school was never really something I wanted to do. Of course, lots of teens would love to just quit school and become famous idols - but I enjoyed my studies. I enjoyed my friends and my quiet life; boy do I miss that quiet life. Nowadays I more or less only have quiet moments. As the days go on, I am realizing that even my quiet moments are becoming very precious. The girls worry about me; sunbae nim thinks I am becoming too closed off. Maybe it is the stress? Of course, that's what you expect any teenager to say. This is where the adult would say, "you're young! What kind of stress could you possibly have?"
Enough to need my precious quiet moments, I'd say.
Would I change it if I could? I feel that I constantly ask myself this question, and have always come up with the same answer; I don't know. Watching the blades of the ceiling fan turn is almost hypnotizing as I throw my mind into deeper thoughts. Of course, it only lasts for a moment as I hear the familiar soft knocking on the door, and SunYe's quiet voice telling me it is time to get up and prepare myself for the day. I'm glad that she is the one that wakes me up.
When we first began living together, -- us as in the Wonder Girls -- we tried using alarm clocks to wake us up, but that proved a failure as we all set them on different times. Hyuna, who was still with us at the time, is an early bird, so we were all awakened at the crack of dawn. Next, it was Yenny who decided to wake us all up, and we ended up missing two meetings and being late to an important practice. Next it was Yubin who took a try at it, but her idea of waking someone up is to scare the crap out of them. Finally, our leader told us she was going to wake us up. At first I was terrified, then I realized that she knows us all too well and wakes us up in the way that is best for each of us individually. Yenny is a heavy sleeper, so she needs to be shaken harshly, and checked on more than once to make sure she gets up. Yubin is stricken with headaches in the morning, so no noise is needed to wake her up; just a light few taps on the shoulder. SunYe even goes as far as to close her blinds before she wakes Yubin up. Next is SunMi, who is VERY difficult to make get out of bed. So, SunYe steals her blankets, and turns her fan on to the highest speed; gets her up and moving every time. Then there is me, who enjoys her quiet moments. She doesn't even come into my room to wake me
