Sleeping is Fun .

His Journal

Dear Journal,

This week has gone by surprisingly fast and wasn't as eventful as I thought it'd be. The news about Sehun and Kya died just as fast as it started and I'm glad I don't have to hear about how cute the two are in almost every conversation I hear in the hallways. Sehun and Kya weren't even hanging out that much.

In fact Sehun has been spending more time with me, which makes me feel a little petty but I don't mind. Thankfully, the project is going by smoothly. Sehun is surprisingly cooperative and gets his work done. When I said Sehun was spending more time with me, I meant it. Everyday after school we'd go to the library and get as much done on our presentation as possible. We even found out our last classes were near each other so we've ended up walking to the library together. It's been like this for a week so it's a given that I still get butterflys, but I surprise myself when we're able to hold conversations with a natural flow.

sincerely, me

The day was going awefully slow for Hyunjoon. It was lunch time and he'd been doodling in his journal while Minjung was beside him munching on a sandwich. They sat at their own table in a comfortable silence before Minjung spoke up while sipping on her water.

"Hey, you got any plans this weekend? I'm going to Busan to celebrate my dad's birthday and I'm sure my parents would want to see you," she turned to him and waited for an answer. Hyunjoon almost nodded immediently. He loved Minjung's parents because they loved him just as much and they took good care of him.

"YES! I always love staying over your parents house," He was excited now that he had something to look forward to over the weekend. Minjung knew he'd say yes and wondered why she didn't just say that they were going instead of asking.

Lunch ended quickly after and the best friends parted their ways before getting into a small fight about which side you start peeling a banana from. The last few periods were as slow as the rest for Hyunjoon. His notes were sloppy and paying attention to his teachers started getting harder as tiredness started to hit him.

He really needed to stop writing late at night. He couldn't help but write about his few hours spent with Sehun, plus story ideas had been coming smoothly to him lately and he just needed to get everything down.

It wasn't until Hyunjoon's last class that he realized today would be the last day he'd have an excuse to hang out with Sehun after school. Their project was basically done besides the finishing touches. They'd present tomorrow and that was that. Hyunjoon wasn't even sure if they were friends at this point because they only spent time as project partners. And with all of Hyunjoon's past partners he never really talked to them after the project was done. However, things were different with Sehun. Sehun was the one partner he wanted to make an effort towards.

His reasons for that should be obvious. Never in a thousand years did Hyunjoon think he'd be able to speak to Oh Sehun. The past week had felt so much like a dream that he'd get up every morning thinking that it actually was. But when Sehun greets him a smile and a short yet smooth "hello," he knows it's real. Hyunjoon was so deep in his own mind it was almost as if he could hear Sehun right next to him.

"Hey," Hyunjoon felt a push at his shoulder, "Hyunjoooon," when he looked up he nearly jumped out of his seat. Sehun took a second look at Hyunjoon's face and doubled over in laughter.

"Sehun, what the hell," Hyunjoon clutched his own shirt and sighed heavily. Sehun, who was still laughing tried to explain himself but to no avail, Hyunjoon got nothing out of the incoherent noise coming out of his mouth. Not willing to try and understand anymore, Hyunjoon just began to gather his belongings.

Sehun calmed down and began to help Hyunjoon with his things, "Well I didn't see you walking down the hall so I came to your class and you were just sitting here daydreaming. The bell rang like 5 minutes ago," He started giggling again when he remembered the look of Hyunjoon being so out of it.

Hyunjoon sat their confused, "Why didn't Mr. Park tell me? More importantly, why didn't I notice everyone leaving?" Hyunjoon was already being tugged out of his seat and dragged by Sehun to the library.

"As if I would know, but come on someone's gonna take our spot at the library." Hyunjoon quickly grabbed onto his backpack before Sehun could drag him any further. He smiled and let out a small laugh when he saw that Sehun's hand was still latched onto his wrist. Sehun's steps were quick paced, but he was well aware of Hyunjoon's laugh and smiled to himself.

Once they got to the library, their usual spot wasn't taken. Sehun had let go of Hyunjoon's wrist upon entering, much to Hyunjoon's dismay, "I wasted all this energy for nothing. Look, our spot isn't taken." Sehun responded with the smile that had Hyunjoon smitten, and when he knew it was working he took his seat and began taking out his materials.

Hyunjoon sat down with a blush and an urge to both punch and kiss the smile off Oh Sehun's face.

~~~~~
"Alright so drag that here, then add this as a caption," the two were making the finishing touches on their project. They were both focused on the screen of Hyunjoon's laptop.
"Like this?" Hyunjoon asked, "Yeah perfect, now type this," Sehun recited what was in his notes to Hyunjoon who did as told. Once this was done Sehun set down his notes and leaned back to slightly stretch. Hyunjoon took this as a sign to rest as well.
"Oh thank god we're almost done," Sehun mumbled. Hyunjoon had his arms crossed on the table and had his head burried in them. He was deep in thought about Kya and Sehun's relationship. He was awefully curious like were they together or what?
"Hey Sehun," Hyunjoon turned his head towards Sehun but kept it rested on his arms, "I heard you're dating someone."
"Am I?" Sehun looked down at Hyunjoon.
"Are you?"
"It's complicated. Kya hangs out with me and the guys during lunch and we text eachother when we get the chance. But I've had my head so much into this project that I don't get a lot of chances to actually spend time with her." Sehun seemed unbothered.
"Awe man now I feel bad I've been keeping you from her," Hyunjoon felt a little guilty.
"Nah it's all good. We aren't even dating anyways, just talking." At this, Hyunjoon let out a small sigh of relief which earned him a confused look from Sehun.
"It's nothing," Hyunjoon sat up and rubbed his hands together, "Let's finish this!" Sehun agreed with a smile and picked his notes back up.
~~~~~

It was dark out and they were the last ones in the library when they finally finished. Sehun stretched back again and let out a loud noise of accomplishment, "ing finally!," which was shushed by the librarian. Hyunjoon tried to hold in his laughter as Sehun glared at him. Hyunjoon just laughed harder and Sehun couldn't help but smile.

"Hey, we ended a little later than usual, do you need a ride home?" Hyunjoon looked out the window and realized that it was too dark for him to be walking home.

"Yes please," and just like that, the two were out of the library and heading to Sehun's car.

"Oh my god do you remember the last time I gave you a ride home," they got into the car and Sehun started up the engine.

"Please don't remid me. Everytime I think about it I feel like I did something stupid," Hyunjoon covered his face with his hands.

"You were half asleep and I ran a redlight trying to get to your house it was a ing adventure," Sehun started to laugh when he remembered Hyunjoon sleepily giving directions and passing out after. Hyunjoon on the other hand was growing redder by the second.

When Sehun recalled the route to Hyunjoon's house they talked briefly about their project, how it was going to be presented, etc. Sehun was surprised on how easily they talked to eachother. Hyunjoon was still a shy mess, even though he's opened up a lot more than last week. Sehun was a closed person himself, but it felt natural to just spill out words to Hyunjoon like they've been friends for years. He really wanted to introduce Hyunjoon to his friends, they would adore him.

"Oh hey, we're here," Hyunjoon began to reach for his backpack while Sehun parked. Once the car stopped, Hyunjoon was out the door and walking toward his apartment building.

"Get some sleep Hyunjoon, we're presenting tomorrow!" Sehun's window was rolled down as he called out to Hyunjoon. Hyunjoon turned around, smiled, and nodded.

"Goodnight Sehun!" Sehun waved back and watched as Hyunjoon disappeared into the building.

~~~~~
Hyunjoon sank into his bed as he recalled every smile Sehun had given him that day. He felt the heat rising to his face the more he thought about his tall prince-like classmate. He grabbed his phone and immediently started texting Minjung.
Hyunjoon: How was the walk home today?
Minjung: It was really quiet. I wonder why LMAO.
Hyunjoon: Shut up, you're the one that's always talking.
Minjung: Whateverrr lol. ANYWAYS lover boy, how's it going with Prince Charming.
Hyunjoon: It's been the same as it has been all week. Sehun's exactly what you call him, Prince Charming.
Minjung: Oh please, I can feel you blushing from here. Why don't you just come over, I made too much dinner. You can gush all you want to me in person.
Hyunjoon's stomach growled when he read the word 'dinner.' Now that it was mentioned, he realizes that he spent so much time in the library with Sehun that he didn't even eat. He gave Minjung a quick reply that he was coming and got out of bed. Before leaving, he threw his uniform that was done washing in the dryer and headed out in his pajamas and an extra blanket. Minjung lived right down the hall. Just like Hyunjoon, she lived without her parents. However, it was only because they had jobs in Busan not because she had parents like Hyunjoon's.
Hyunjoon's slippers dragged down the hallyway towards Minjung's place. She didn't live very far so he made it there pretty fast. Minjung gave him a copy of her key so he wouldn't have to bother knocking on the door. He unlocked the door and announced his arrival.
"I'M HERE MINJUNG." He didn't even bother to wait for a response and continued to throw his blanket onto the couch. He then ventured to the kitchen for food.
"If you're look for the food it's in the fridge! Microwave it first and get your own bowl of rice," Minjung's voice was heard from her bedroom. Hyunjoon did as he was told. If you'd come across this scene without knowing the circumstances of the situation, you would think that Hyunjoon lived here. The truth was that he was at Minjung's apartment a lot more than he was at his own.
Hyunjoon was eating and scrolling through his phone when Minjung finally came out. Just like Hyunjoon, she was dressed in cozy pajamas but with a facemask on. Hyunjoon was so immersed in his phone and stuffing his face that he didn't even notice his best friend approaching him.
"Hey aren't you gonna eat any side dishes?" Hyunjoon looked up to see a face concealed in white and he almost jumped straight out of his seat.
"WHAT THE HELL."
"Shut up we have neighbors," Minjung remained unbothered and headed towards the fridge to take out side dishes. Hyunjoon calmed down when he realized it was just Minjung.
"You scared me," She returned with side dishes which Hyunjoon immediently started to eat, "Yeah I know, anyways. Tell me." Minjung was the type of person to want to know everything, and when she didn't she'd find a way. Hyunjoon was always surprised when she would hit him with the news of something random like who's pants were pulled down at Kai's party. This was what Hyunjoon liked about Minjung though. She did all the talking he didn't want to do. But in situations where he wanted to talk, she listened. The benefit of growing up together was the fact that they understood eachother the most.
Hyunjoon spent the next few minutes explaining everything that thad happened the past week. Even though he wrote everything in his journal, sometimes it was nice to tell someone. That's where Minjung came in.
"They aren't even dating yet! He says they're just talking. He likes to talk about her though, I see it in his eyes. I think he really likes her they look so good together." Hyunjoon was about done eating and started bringing his dishes to the sink.
"Yeah but you would look cuter with him," Minjung started helping him with the dishes.
"Oh please, you're just saying that because we're best friends."
"Maybe," Minjung did think they'd be cute, but only because of the way Hyunjoon swoons when talking about Sehun, "Anyways, what present are you getting my dad? I bought him a coffee maker since he's always complaining about the one he has when we go over." They moved to Minjung's living room to decide sleeping arrangments ("Why don't you just bring out the futons?" "That's too much work" "Minjung." "...")
"Damn I was planning on getting him one," he laughed because now he had no present ideas, "I guess I'll just bake a cake. Homemade and sentimental," the futons were out and the only thing on in the apartment was Minjung's TV. They climbed into the futons and continued to talk.
"Yeah okay, I'll text my mom and tell her not to buy one. Do you even know how to bake?"
"Nah."
They talked for another hour or so planning what to do for Mr. Shin and talking about random things. At some point, Hyunjoon set an alarm on his phone and the night fell silent.
~~~~~

Hyunjoon's went off loudly in the morning, waking up the pair up. As much as Hyunjoon wanted to sleep in, it was friday and he just wanted to get the day over with so he rose from under the covers.

"5 more minutes..." Minjung stirred in her sleep. Hyunjoon shook her and said, "c'mon we have an hour to get ready. I'm gonna got get ready and come back. You better be ready before I come back." He didn't leave until she was actually standing up and folding her futon. Hyunjoon's was already done and lying next to the couch.

"I'll be back," like many other times Hyunjoon was trudging down the hall with his slippers dragging across the floor and a blanket in hand. When he got back into his apartment he pulled out his uniform from the dryer and laid it out on his bed. Hyunjoon took a quick soak in his shower and put on the clothes. After his hair was dried and a snug beanie was pulled over his head he went back down the hall, this time with a backpack in his hands.

As he opened the door to Minjung's apartment he smelled breakfast cooking. Minjung was already in her uniform and her backpack was packed by the door. Satisfied, Hyunjoon started setting up the table.

"Hey, isn't your presentation today?"

"Yeah, I hope it goes well," Minjung gave him a good luck. The two quickly ate and left for school.

~~~~~
Sehun thought the day went by quickly because one moment he was sitting in the courtyard before his 1st and the next he was walking to his 4th History with Tao. Oddly enough, he was confident when he walked in because he knew how hard he and Hyunjoon worked on it. Tao on the other hand was trying to understand the recent glow in Sehun's face. It could be because of Kya, who he became friends with as she hung out with them during lunch. Or it could because of the blue haired kid who's been keeping Sehun afterschool with him. Deep down, Tao was wishing it was Hyunjoon. Kya wasn't a bad match for Sehun, in fact she was probably his ideal type. But Tao just liked Hyunjoon better for no reason.
"Alright class, seperate into your partners. We're gonna get started right away. When Hyunjoon plopped down next to Sehun, Sehun smirked, "You ready?" Hyunjoon nervously smiled, "I hope I am."
When they were called up Hyunjoon could already feel the stares of his classmates glued to him. Sehun noticed that Hyunjoon became more timid and gave him a small pat on the back. Hyunjoon immediently looked up to Sehun smiling and mouthing 'It's okay.' And just like that, Hyunjoon felt a lot better standing in front of his class becaus Sehun was standing with him. He wasn't alone.
Their presentation went by pretty smoothly and they both knew when to talk and when to let the other speak. They knew their material well, which was thanks to the many hours spent after school with their heads buried in books. When they were done even the teacher had clapped and told them that they "had great chemistry," to which hyunjoon blushed at.
The rest of the presentations were boring since they all presented the same material. Sehun nudged Hyunjoons side, "Hey," Hyunjoon turned, "we should celebrate today. You know, for finishing." Sehun smiled. Hyunjoon nodded quickly and responded, "Sure! You should come to my place again."
"Are your parents going to be okay with it?" Hyunjoon's heart dropped when he remembered that he hadn't told Sehun about his parents, "Yeah sure..they're on a really long business trip right now."
"Oh ok," the bell rang ending class, "I'll see you after school then!" Sehun got up quickly to catch up with Tao. Hyunjoon got up just as quickly and rushed to where he and Minjung ate lunch. He whipped out his journal and wrote anything and everything that was currently going through his mind. The past 30 minutes had been so overwelhming he couldn't wait to tell Minjung. When he was done he looked at the mess he created on that page. Most of it was only readable to Hyunjoon himself. He was so excited that his writing was distorted. Not that it hasn't happened before.
"So how was it?" Minjun asked him about his presentation. When she sat down with him she noticed the sparkle in his eye. The sparkle that meant he was about to spill. And so he did. Hyunjoon started from the moment Sehun comforted him before presenting, then he told her about the teacher complimenting their strong chemistry ("I knew I wasn't the only one that saw it!" Minjung confirmed) For the last part Hyunjoon had to take a breath.
"He's coming over today and I have no idea what we're going to do but it's to celebrate the end of our project. Oh my god Minjung. What are we gonna do? Maybe I should just wing it. Yeah. I'm gonna wing it."
"We both know how horrible you are at winging things," Minjung shook her head.
"You're right, who am I kidding," In the end he never thought of what he was going to do and instead stress ate whatever Minung put in his hand. As lunch came to an end, the two seperated and Minjung reminded Hyunjoon to pack for Busan after Sehun left. Hyunjoon nodded and walked off to his last classes.
~~~~~

When Sehun told Chanyeol that he was going to hang out with Hyunjoon the taller laughed, "Again!? When am I going to meet this little heart stealer?" He laughed again when Sehun just gave him a look, "Okay whatever, I'll tell the guys. Just go have fun!" Chanyeol left in search of the rest of their friends. Sehun waved him off and walked towards Hyunjoon's classroom.

"Hey," Hyunjoon look startled at first but smiled when he realized it was just Sehun, "Ready to go?"

"Yeah let's go. By the way what do you want for dinner?" Hyunjoon asked.

"What, are you actually going to cook for me this time?" Sehun giggled when Hyunjoon slapped his arm.

"Shut up, just take me to the convinience store first," Hyunjoon's face didn't match his tone of voice. He was smiling widely and Sehun coudn't get enough of it. The two finally made it to Sehun's car and left to the nearest conivience store. Inside, Hyunjoon moved around quickly and made Sehun carry their basket.

"Jeez my arm is gonna fall of if you keep putting things in here," Sehun teased. Hyunjoon replied by just mocking him and continued to grab things he thought was necessary. After arguing about who would pay, Sehun finally gave in and let Hyunjoon empty out his wallet. Sehun had taken the bags of groceries before Hyunjon could grab them which made the shorter unconciously smile.

The drive to Hyunjoon's place was quiet but it was no where near awkward. They were both in good moods and were fine just being in each other's company. Hyunjoon nonchalantly went through the apps on his phone and when he got bored he resorted to looking out the window.

The sky was pink and he began to recognize the streets as they were getting closer to his apartment. With the lightness of the atmosphere the trees looked greener, the flowers popped out more and the sidewalks were filled with happy people basking in outside air. Hyunjoon had never felt so relaxed in his life.

Sehun on the other hand took a few glances at Hyunjoon from time to time. He noticed the tranquil look on Hyunjoon's face and decided not to bother his peace. It was at this moment when Sehun felt glad that he had been paired with Hyunjoon for a project. He never imagined being so content in someone elses' company.

As they arrived at Hyunjoon's apartment complex, Hyunjoon stretched as much as he could in the confinements of Sehun's car, "We're here!"

"Yes we are," Sehun chimed along and parked. Sehun offered to carry the bags again and Hyunjoon didn't refuse. Unlike the car ride, their small journey to Hyunjoon's apartment was not quiet.

"Awe man why is your place so far up my arms are gonna fall off again," Sehun fake-whined.

"That's not my fault, and we're taking the elevator anyways strong guy," Hyunjoon teased back.

"Hey by the way, do you have a girlfriend? Is that girl you always hangout with your girlfriend? How long have you guys been dating?" Sehun suddenly got curious.

"Hold your horses cowboy one question at a time," Hyunjoon laughed as Sehun rolled his eyes at him, "Minjung isn't my girlfriend, and thank god she's nothing close to that. She is a close friend though. I've known her for almost forever."

"I figured. You guys seem so close."

"Oh you have no idea, she literally lives across the hall from me. What about you? Tell me about you and your friends. Actually no, don't tell me. I already know all about them."

"How so?" The elevator door opened to Hyunjoon's floor and they stepped out. Hyunjoon looked up at Sehun with exasperation.

"Really? Who wouldn't know about the most popular boys at school? Who also went got the nickname EXO by the whole student body? C'mon Sehun."Hyunjoon took out his keys from his bag and unlocked his door.

Sehun laughed, "Yeah, yeah I know," they walked inside and set down everything, "but there's nothing really to tell. We've all known eachother for as long as I can remember. Almost like you and Minjung. Somehow along the way, they all started dating eachother. I mean, I'm happy for them, but at least one pair of them are always making out when we hang out and I'm tired." Hyunjoon giggled.

"You can always hang out with me and we won't have that problem," Hyunjoon started to unpack the ingrdients he bought for dinner.

"You're right. But then again I have been inviting Kya with us so it's all fair game," Hyunjoon winced a little.

"Hey I'm gonna start cooking, you can go hangout on the couch or something. If you wanna watch TV the remote's next to it." Hyunjoon tried to avoid the converstaion by shooing away Sehun, which he'd probably regret later.

"You sure you don't need any help?"

"Yeah I'm sure just go relax," and with that, Sehun left the kitchen and wandered around the rest of the apartment, disregarding Hyunjoon's suggestion of "hanging out on the couch." he started noticing more things he didn't bother to look at when he was first here. Like the pictures of Hyunjoon's childhood on the white or the small vases of plants by the window. It was already dark outside and Sehun was contimplating whether or not he was willing to drive home.

Realizing that it was just an apartment and there wasn't too much to look at he finally made his way to the couch and took out the blue journal. Sehun wasn't much of a reader, but he always found himself going back to the contents of this journal. Something about the way this person wrote appealed to Sehun and interested him. Not only that, but they seemed to have an unshakable love for Sehun, which he appreciated from time to time.

He turned to where he left off and the page he read was nothing like he'd seen in the previous pages. He knew that the writer had been emotional and degrading of themself, but this page was something else.

From the beginning of the page to the very bottom "I wish I was straight" was written coutless times. The handwriting was messy and something hit Sehun hard when he noticed that the someof the words had torn up the page. He was suddenly overwashed with a feeling of sadness and felt the emotions of that one page directly affecting him.

Sehun also noticed that the writer was able to evoke his emotions. Sometimes that would be bad or good. He closed the journal and put it back in his bag. To lift his mood he decided to go bother Hyunjoon.

The smell of meat and spices made it's way to Sehun's nose as he walked into the kitchen.

"You bored?" Hyunjoon didn't look up from the pan, but knew Sehun walked into the room.

"A little." Sehun stood directly next to Hyunjoon in an attempt to get his attention.

"I'm almost done, can you set up the table," Sehun remained silent and kept staring. Hyunjoon at this point didn't know how much he could handle under Sehun's gaze, "please?" Sehun raised a brow.

"Can I get a smile?" Hyunjoon looked up at the boy who practically towered over him and half heartedly curved up each end of his lips. Sehun started to laugh at the comedic face and left Hyunjoon to do what he was told. Hyunjoon was left flushed in a bright shade of red. What the hell was that?

Sehun's attempt to lift up his own mood was a success. After setting the table, Hyunjoon came out with dinner soon after as promised.

"Looks good," Sehun's mouth started to water.

Dinner was quiet. Mostly because Hyunjoon was inwardly screaming that 1)He made dinner for Oh Sehun and 2)Oh Sehun was eating the food he made for him. 2 things Hyunjoon would never see himself doing, but hey, the last few weeks have been full of unexpected events. Half through hisfood, Sehun suddenly stopped. Oh no I cooked something bad didn't I-

"We forgot to toast!" Hyunjoon relaxed again as the words came out of Sehun's mouth, "To us! For finishing a project." He put on a wide smile as they clinked their glasses together. Hyunjoon couldn't resist the smile creeping onto his face.

"Thank you for taking care of me!" Sehun showed a slight blush which Hyunjoon would keep burned into mind so he could draw it later.

After eating, the sky had gotten darker and Sehun was sure he shouldn't be going out so late, "Hey is it okay if I stay over tonight?" Hyunjoon's heart skipped a beat at the suggestion.

"Yeah no problem. I'll bring out some blankets later and we can use the living room." Hyunjoon didn't have futons like Minjung so he was just gonna have to wing it. Although it was too late to be going outside, it was too early for the teenage boys to be going to sleep on a friday night. So they settle for some movies.

"You got popcorn?" Sehun plopped down on the couch after taking a shower and putting on Hyunjoon's pajamas. This was another look Hyunjoon would have to engrave in his mind to draw for later.

"Sehun, we just ate, " Hyunjoon the TV and grabbed an assortment of DVDs. After leaving them on the coffee table for Sehun to pick from he left to change take a quick shower and change into pajamas as well. Hyunjoon then returned with some blankets for them to get comfortable with on the couch.

"What kinda movie night would it be without popcorn?" Sehun responded as if Hyunjoon never left. Hyunjoon knew Sehun was just playing around by the look on his face and just scoffed while throwing a blanket at him. taking the seat beside Sehun, he wrapped himself like a burrito while waiting for Sehun to start the movie.

The movie he picked threw Hyunjoon off guard, "Really? This movie?"

"Yes, this movie." Sehun smiled to himself in satisfaction. The movie he picked was actually Minjung's. It was the cheesiest romcom Hyunjoon had ever watched. Of all the movies he had, Sehun just had to pick the romance one. He glanced over and saw that Sehun was adjusting his blanket and making himself at home.

As they progressed through the movie, Hyunjoon saw Sehun's real intentions. He was 100% sure he wouldn't get a chance to breathe every time Sehun called out how unrealistic the movie was.

"BULL! No one would ever something as greasy as that in real life!"

"You call that a confession? HE'S AFTER YOUR BODY MARTHA WALK AWAY."

Hyunjoon lost it every time Sehun used the name Martha, because that was most definately NOT the name of the female lead. If you were to with them at this moment you wouldn't be able to tell if Sehun was being serious or if he was just fooling around. Either way, it made Hyunjoon laugh till his cheeks hurt and he could barely breathe.

At this point, Hyunjoon didn't even know the plot line of the story and just went along with what Sehun was spouting. Note to self: Never take Sehun to the movie theaters. Sehun knew he was being ridiculous, but every word that came out of his mouth was true.

3 movies later, Sehun was wide awake but Hyunjoon was slowly drifting off into sleep. Sehun had stopped yelling at the screen when he noticed Hyunjoon's laughter getting quieter and his voice sounding tired. "Hey, do you wanna sleep?" Sehun leaned towards the boy who was literally about to fall asleep.

"...no...I'm fine." He was clearly not, but Sehun let him be and decided he would give Hyunjoon the couch after this last movie. However his plans came crashing down just like Hyunjoon's head on his shoulder. Sehun panicked. He didn't want to move because if he moved he would be disturbing Hyunjoon's peaceful sleep. But at the same time he'd never been in this situation with even a girl, much less a boy. So he just sat there. Just letting things happen without doing a thing. His heart started to race as the scent of Hyunjoon filled his nose.

He didn't have time to focus on the movie anymore so he just shut down the TV with the remote that was thankfully in hands reach. However, the lights were off so he was now sitting there in th dark and silence with his new friend sleeping soundly on his shoulder. He didn't know how to feel or what to do. Sehun was comfortable wrapped in a single blanket and being in the dark didn't help him, but instead made him sleepy. The steady breathing coming from Hyunjoon relaxed him in a strange way and made him feel safe.

Drowsiness got the better of him and his head soon dropped onto Hyunjoon's head and his cheek softly rubbed against his fluffly blue hair. Within minutes, the two were fast asleep leaning against eachother.

~~~~~
When Hyunjoon woke up, he was absolutely mortified. He asked himself when then hell this even happened. As things were going through his mind he didn't realize that he was basically trapped. Sehun's arms had him on lockdown and he was not going anywhere. One part of him said he should just enjoy the moment but another part of him said he needed to get out Right Now. So he settled for the first part.
He looked around and realized how close they really were. Sehun's face was right above his and he was as beautiful as every moment Hyunjoon had seen him. However while he was sleeping, Sehun looked softer and Hyunjoon's heart melted at how peaceful he looked. He spent another few minutes taking in Sehun's appearence and another few minutes living his dream of resting in his arms and snuggling so close. With nothing else to do, he fell back asleep with a smile on his face.
When Sehun opened his eyes he almost had a panic attack. He was on the edge of the couch, barely keeping himself up. Next to him was Hyunjoon, who was pressed against the back of the couch and snuggled into Sehun's chest. Their legs were tangled together and the blankets were a mess as well. Sehun had his arms wrapped tightly around Hyunjoon and he fit into them just perfectly.
What Sehun saw was ethreal and it made him relax just a little bit more. He couldn't deny that in this moment, Hyunjoon was the cutest. How they into this position as a mystery and surprisingly, he wasn't complaining. Sehun reached for his phone and took a quick picture of Hyunjoon, and then a selca of both of them where Hyunjoon is obviously clinging to him. Shortly after taking the picture, he recieved a text saying that his parents had sent people to pick him up.
He sighed in dissapointment when he realized he'd have to leave Hyunjoon. Slowly getting up so he wouldn't wake up sleeping beauty, Sehun stared at the sight before him one more time before going to change into his own clothes. He grabbed his backpack and headed towards Hyunjoon before leaving.
"Hey, Hyunjoon I'm leaving now," Sehun shook him awake. Hyunjoon barely opened his eyes but he understood the sitation as he saw Sehun with is own clothes back on and his backpack. He didn't say a word and just got up half asleep, gave Sehun a long hug because he was still sleepy and neary fell asleep against Sehun again. After that he crawled back under the warmth of the blankets and knocked out again.
Knowing all too well that Hyunjoon wouldn't have done that if he was aware of himself, Sehun knew that he wasn't fully awake and resorted to writing a small note. He took one good look of Hyunjoon again before walking away and heading out the door, carefully closing it behind him.
~~~~~

Morning bedhead!

We already said our goodbyes but I don't know if you remember.

Anyways, I left some coffee on the counter just heat it up.

We should do this more often!!! I had a lot of fun thanks for having me.

See you around!

Sehun (###)###-####

~~~~~
Hyunjoon nearly fainted at the note and he quickly added Sehun into his phone. He stuffed the note in his pocket and planned to tape it into his journal.
Making his way into the kitchen, he heated up the coffee as he was told to and sat down at the dining table. Hyunjoon let out a shout of accomplishment as he recaled everything that he did with Sehun. However, he stopped immediently and settled for smiles when there was angry knocking on the walls from his neighbors.
