Dear Journal,

I'm still in shock over the fact that I spent my whole day with Sehun. I mean who would've thought that creating a mess of myself at the library would result to this? Anyways, it's currently 3am and I still can't sleep. I'm too jittery to fall asleep. Can you imagine? Waking up and the person you like is on your couch!? ing wild. He treated me so nicely today, I think I'm falling harder and harder for him as time passes.

Hyunjoon giggled down at his notebook. As much as he did today, he wasn't tired and he felt more energized than he's ever been. Since falling asleep was out of the question, he resorted to sketching in his journal. Hyunjoon was happy because now he could draw Sehun in different ways. From Sehun cooking, to him sleeping on his couch.

Hyunjoon couldn't help but smile as he sketched out Sehun. How lucky was he to be paired with his crush for a school project?

It was getting really late, or rather really early and Hyunjoon needed to sleep. He lazily closed up his journal and threw his pen down on the desk before lunging himself onto the bed. He forced himself to sleep, but with a smile on his face.

The next day Minjung came over and brought the promised movies and all sorts of unhealthy snacks, they gave eachother silent knowing smiles.

"TELL ME EVERYTHING. SPILL THE BEANS," and with that Hyunjoon really spilled the beans by telling her every single detail of yesterdays events. From seeing Sehun on his couch to the shy touches at the library.

"He saw you shirtless?!" Minjung slapped his arm, "HYUNJOON! WHAT!!" Hyunjoon rubbed his arm from the pain. Minjung knew he was insecure about his body so she didn't know whether she should be worried or proud of him. But once Hyunjoon's pained face turned into a smile she only smiled with him, "You sly dog." They both laughed and Hyunjoon continued to tell her about Sehun.

As he babbled on about "the most beautiful man on Earth", Minjung noticed something different about Hyunjoon. He's talked about Sehun before, but not like this. There was a brighter sparkle in his eyes and Minjung was happy for her best friend. He was finally beginning to be genuinely happy.

As the day went on and the two kept on fooling around, Hyunjoon's heart shook at the thought of how much more time he's going to be spending with Sehun. This week was going to be eventful.

beep! beep! beep! 

The sound of Sehun's alarm echoed throughout his room. He slammed the snooze button and covered himself in his blankets again. Why is it already Monday? He groaned and slowly rolled over, but he knew if he didn't wake up right now the maids would come bother him. Trying to avoid their squealy voices and annoying fidgeting, he reluctantly trudged out of bed. 

His parents tired him out yesterday with another business party. Everyone wanted to see the Oh's handsome son who was heir to the company that owned countless amounts of businesses and hotels. He was excited yes, but he was still in high school and the rich lifestyle was too suffocating for his age. Yesterday was filled with other companies trying to get him married to their "lovely" daughter and boring business talk. As much as Sehun had the talent to be a business man, it was so tiring. This doesn't mean he didn't want to take over the business. He just wanted to live his life as a regular teenager right now.

The sound of the water splashing down on the tiles snapped Sehun out of his trance. At least one good thing came out of this weekend. He got things straightened out with Hyunjoon and they got a lot of work done. Sehun also had fun, which is something he usually doesn't do unless he's with his ridiculous friends. Spending time with Hyunjoon was refreshing, like he had nothing to worry about. He was glad that he was his project partner. There was something about Hyunjoon that was very familiar, but Sehun was still itching to know more about him. 

Sehun never thought he'd like Hyunjoon this much, not in that way but as friends right? Sehun smiled to himself as he remembered spending time with Hyunjoon. The way he blushed at anything that was slightly embarrassing was cute-for a boy-and when Hyunjoon told him he looked "fine as hell" he couldn't help but feel a little special.

Sehun stopped thinking and realized he needed to stop acting like a teenage girl with a crush and start getting ready for school. He got out of the shower and quickly dried off before going through his usual skin routine. After finally getting out of the bathroom, he grabbed his uniform and threw it on. He grabbed his bag and quickly left his room hoping to avoid contact with anyone. 

His shoes tapped against the marble floor hurridly and he barely made it out the door as maids were walking down the opposite hallway. The way to school was smooth and quiet, exactly what he wanted. Once he got to school he relaxed in the same courtyard he did every morning, this time trying to take a nap while waiting for the rest of his friends. 

"Sehun?" His nap was interrupted by a voice that definitely didn't belong to any of his friends. He was about to tell the person off before he looked up and saw who it was.

"Kya?" sure enough Kya was standing there giving Sehun a questioning look.

"You look like you had a rough night." She took the spot beside him.

"Oh tell me about it. Try recieving 4 different business related marriage proposals and giving a speech to South Korea's most elite business men." He fell back onto the benches support and got exhausted just thinking about yesterday.

"Sounds harsh." She laughed as Sehun rolled his eyes, "Hey I know I shouldn't bring this up now but, you didn't call me back? I was a little worried because you left in such a rush." Sehun felt flattered that she was worried. He gave her a charming smile and shook his head.

"Nothing serious happened. I was just reminded that I had a school project. I left my partner waiting in the library." Sehun didn't really want to remember what he saw when he arrived.

"Coudn't they have gone home or something? Schedule another day?" Kya was a little confused to why Sehun would go out of his way for something so small.

"Nah, the idiot stayed there and fell asleep thinking I'd show up. I got there and just took him home," Sehun chuckled when he remembered the struggle in bringing home Hyunjoon, "I made it up to him on Saturday so we got some work done. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed our date, but school work is important to me too."

Kya bit at her lip. She went after the right one. He was committed to school and seemed like a caring person. On top of that, they really connected last night. Her mind wandered off to the rumors of him dropping a girl after their first date. She didn't want that just yet. Kya thought that there was a lot of potential for there to be an actual relationship. In fact, she found herself already falling for his charms. 

"When's the next time you're free? You still owe me a proper date." She smiled sweetly at him in an attempt to convince him. Kya prepared for the worst and thought Sehun was going to reject her but instead he smiled back, and the beauty of it startled Kya in a good way.

"Maybe this weekend? after most of this project stuff dies down." Sehun was surprised himself. He never imagined himself agreeing to go on a second date (or second first date in this case) "But I want to make it clear that I need to focus on this project because I don't want to disappoint my partner more than I already have." Kya thought this was out of the good of his heart and so did Sehun, but really it was something more.

"That works for me!" Kya stayed there for a while and they talked about normal school stuff. Once again, Sehun felt the joy of having her in his company and he thought he should give her a chance as his girlfriend.

"What do you MEAN I can't put toast in the toaster with butter on it already? It'll make my life so much easier!" Jongdae exclaimed at Minseok, who only gave him a disappointed sigh.

"That's just not how it works Jongdae," Minseok sighed as his boyfriend continued to the list the reasons why spreading butter on bread before toasting it had its benefits. They continued to walk through the school and towards the courtyard where they usually go. Minseok was about to smack Jongdae upside the head before he spotted Sehun sitting on the bench, talking to a girl. So instead he went for the arm.

"Oh my god Jongdae look." He quickly grabbed onto Jongdae's arm to refrain him from walking any further. 

"OW, what the hell, I know I sound stupid but LISTEN-" Minseok gave up and just slapped his mouth shut. There were lots of protests on Jongdae's side, but he immediently shut up once he saw what Minseok was seeing. 

"Hey that's Sehun with the same girl. HEY. THAT'S SEHUN. WITH THE SAME GIRL." Jongdae stood there in awe while trying to hide from their youngest friend, "Our boy Sehun swoopin'!!!" 

"Yeah right, more like Kya's swooping," Minseok scoffed. He's never seen Sehun put effort into a relationship, and for them it was kind of refreshing to see Sehun finally have someone to (possibly) keep. As proud as they were, it's only been like 4 days since the two started talking.

Jongdae tried to listen to what they were saying but had no luck because they were too far. At this point he was tired of hiding and he made an attention seeking face at Minseok. Minseok almost gave in but he knew better than to fall for his trickster of a boyfriend, so he instead offered his hand in which Jongdae happily took. They looked into eachother's eyes for a split second and Jongdae almost fell in love with Minseok all over again. 

"Are y'all about to get married or what," Chanyeol walked towards them with Baekhyun sleepily walking behind them.

"C'mon man we were having a moment," Minseok laughed and jokingly slapped Chanyeol in the arm. They continued to joke around until Baekhyun leaned against his tall boyfriend.

"It's too early for this ." He had his eyes closed and looked like he was ready to pass out on the floor. 

"Awe c'mon baby if you think about it, it's 6 hours of school but also 6 hours of me," Chanyeol giggled and leaned close to Baekhyun who was using him as support.

"Shut up." and despite those words Baekhyun himself was smiling. 

Jongdae, whose hand was still intertwined with Minseok's, pointed towards Sehun's direction, "Hey, check that out." The couple looked over witnessed Sehun conversing with his new 'girlfriend'. They were both shocked when they saw Sehun laughing and how natural the two looked.

"When was the last time we saw him smile with a girl," Baekhyun was now wide awake. They creeped closer to get a better look of the scene in front of them. Soon enough, the rest of the group arrived one after the other, all in awe of Sehun. They talked in yell whispers and tried to desperately get eachother to shut up before Sehun could discover them.

Junmyeon whipped out his phone to capture the important moment, "Kris move your tall so I can get a picture." Kris moved the smallest of a step. Junyeon rolled his eyes, "Really." The taller moved while laughing.

"You should've said please." Junmyeon could only make a face as Kris continued to laugh to himself. Once He got the picture they all stood there, talking to eachother like a group of 11 dads bragging about their son. 

As soon as Kya left and was out of sight, they all moved out of their hiding spots and rushed towards Sehun. Having no shame they start hooting at him and congratulating the younger.

"AYYYYE MY BOY FINALLY SWOOPED !" Chanyeol slapped Sehun on the back, much to his surprise.

"Chanyeol you're so damn loud." Kyungsoo looked like he was ready to jump Chanyeol, but immediently relaxed when he felt Jongin's strong arms wrap around him. But if looks could kill, Chanyeol would've been dead a long time ago.

They all continued to tease Sehun, who'd much rather crawl into a hole, "Guys please, I'm tired." Yet he was still smiling and having fun with his group of (really ridiculous) friends.

"So is she a keeper?" Luhan-the only other single person in their group, and the one everyone thought Sehun would eventually fall for, asked with a knowing smile on his face.

Sehun only smirked, and when he did everyone got loud once again, stomping on the ground, yelling, and playfully hitting him.

The word spread around quickly that Kya and Sehun had become a thing. Some students were disappointed they couldn't get to either Kya or Sehun while they were single, and others thought that they made a cuter couple than Kya and Jungkook.

The news didn't get to Hyunjoon's ears any slower than it did for the rest of the school. He decided to ignore it. In his mind he knew that the relationship would flop and he could be at ease again, but something in his gut was telling him that this time it'd be different. 

He ignored that feeling too and continued to drag himself to class as Minjung blabbered on about the latest episode of a drama she was watching. Being his best friend, Minjung knew all too well that Hyunjoon wouldn't be taking the news so well.

"Hey, are you ok?" Minjung stopped him and pulled him aside. 

"I'm fine." She gave him a look.

"Look, I had a lot of fun this weekend and I still want to immerse myself in that." Hyunjoon loved that Minjung was worried about him, but he was not gonna drop his chance of being remotely close to Sehun just because he was being a softie.

"Well, at least you'll be spending a lot of time with him this week," now this, got Hyunjoon excited.

"I know right!" Once he gave Minjung a blinding smile, she was satisfied.

As they excitedly talked to eachother about what he should do and mostly what he'd wear, Hyunjoon spotted Sehun in the corner of his eye.

Sehun made eye contact and gave him a shy smile. Hyunjoon greeted him back with a smile. Hyunjoon swear he felt the world stop just for him to take in the beautiful features of Sehun's face. They stared at eachother for a good 10 seconds before Kya's small figure appeared behind Sehun, to which he mouthed a quick 'Bye' before walking off with her. 

However, Hyunjoon didn't get the chance to say bye, or even wave goodbye and just watched as the couple walked away.

"Wow she's pretty" Minjung was peeping over Hyunjoon's shoulder. He snapped out of his thoughts and replied with a tiny, "Yeah."

"Alright class, this is work period. Get with your partner and work on that project until class is over." The whole class moved as the teacher finished talking. Hyunjoon quickly made his way towards Sehun and took a seat.

"Hey," Sehun looked up at Hyunjoon's arrival and smiled when he saw Hyunjoon's blue hair and small smile. 

"So how was your weekend?" Sehun jokingly asked and laughed when Hyunjoon posed in thought.

"Hmmm...nothing interesting really happened," Hyunjoon smiled, "How was yours?"

"Boy lemme tell you. It was ing wild," Hyunjoon couldn't help but giggle as Sehun talked,"First I had to take home someone that was comepletely knocked out and it was so late I had to stay over. Guess what happened the next day, try and guess."

Hyunjoon was trying hard told in the laughs that were ready to burst out,"W-what happened?" Hyunjoon asked with his hand over his mouth muffling the laughter that was slipping out.

"I had to cook breakfast! Then he had the audacity to give me the most unfashionable clothes in his closet." Sehun smiled widely at the sight of Hyunjoon laughing. 

"Wow what a horrible host."

"Yeah, tell me about it," Sehun laughed, "No but seriously I had a good time on Saturday. Maybe I should come over again." 

"Maybe you should, but this time I'll actually cook," They both giggled at eachother and continued to talk like this. Sehun was surprised at how natural their conversation was carrying. It felt nice. As they discussed their project along with unrelated things, Sehun noticed small things about Hyunjoon. Like how he constantly tugged at his beanie or how he always spun his pencil around after writing with it. 

They were working in a comfortable scilence now. Taking notes and quietly talking about things when needed. Since they had already worked over the weekend, most of the research had already been done so they just had piece things togther.

"Hey, so are we working in the library after school today?" Hyunjoon whispered to Sehun.

"Yeah sure why not. The faster we get this over with the more time we get to relax."

"You right." The rest of the period went by peacefully. Or at least it seemed peaceful. For Hyunjoon, his heart was racing at an olympic level and he just couldn't get it to calm down. Sehun was literally right in front of him, talking to him. Sehun caught him staring and he almost jumped out of his seat. Giving him an awkward smile, Hyunjoon quickly looked down at his paper again, pretending to do something productive. Nice going Hyunjoon.

When the period ended, they gathered their things and stood up to walk out. 

"I'll see you after school Hyunjoon!" Sehun patted Hyunjoon's head before walking out and meeting with Tao. Hyunjoon brought his hand up to the spot where Sehun patted him and when they were both out of sight they both thought to themselves what the hell was that.

"Hey loser," Tao bumped into Sehun who only ignored him, "So. About Hyunjoon, you two really work well together." Sehun couldn't ignore him this time.

"I guess" Sehun's tone didn't match his words, in fact he sounded a little proud that Tao said that.

"C'mon Sehun admit it. He's a little cute right?" Tao tried to provoke Sehun, because out of the 10 other guys in their friend group, he didn't really think Kya was the one for Sehun. And as Sehun's best friend, he had to be right.

"Yeah whatever." Tao wasn't convinced until Sehun smiled and knew all too well that Hyunjoon would be the one to make their 3rd year of High School a wild one.
