I spend my first day here in Seoul, sleeping.

Ugh, jetlags. It gives me a severe headache.

 

During the flight, dad told me what to expect the moment we touch down to our new homeland.

 

Firstly, even though I just graduated from high school, in PH. He would still enroll me in 11^th grade, because probably I’m still young to be in college. Technically.

 

Second, since schools here were on term break, I would be home schooled to learn Hangul. I know a few basic Korean words because I’m a KPOPper, so I have a good foundation here, it’ll be just a piece of cake. LOL! Plus, I will have a classmate… My dad. Haha! I love it! It would be a bonding time for me and for him.

 

As for my dad, he'll be working on office now, but sometimes he might go on field, but he say we will now lots of time together... 

 

And also, we’ll be living in a real home now, because before, we used to rent apartments only since we move house from time to time.

 

I am so excited! This really is a new beginning for me and my dad. YEHET!

But he ask me one thing...

"Ricci, I know in such a short time, I asked you to pack your things so we could come here. But don't you think it's rude that you didn't told Charles that we're leaving, a bit earlier? Talk to him when we land."

"Appa --"

"Wait, what's appa?"

"It means 'dad,' haha!"

"Oh, should you call me that now?"

"Maybe, I'll call you 'dad' or 'appa' depending on my mood."

"That's fine with me. Talk to Charles, please? Settle everyting."

"I will, appa... Soon."

I was unpacking my stuffs when suddenly my phone vibrates...

Oh no. Someone is calling me on skype...

Charles... Should I answer it? What to do, what to do?!

I should talk to him, my dad told me... Its now or never!

 

Me: H-h-hello?

Charles: Ricci.

Hearing his voice makes me cry... I miss him...

Charles: Are you ready to talk now?

Me: I think so... *sobbing*

Charles: You really do cry easily... Who will now wipe your tears when you're crying? You're too far from me now.

Me: Don't be like that please...

Charles: You could have told me properly that you're migrating.

Me: What will you possibly do if I told you?

Charles: We'll cry together... Ricci, we've been through lots on our relationship, but when we deal with it together, we always make it through. You know that, right?

Me: But this is different. There's a 1-hour difference between us now...

Charles: I love you.
