One.

Centimeter.

Away.

And there. It happened. We actually kissed. Our lips actually met. We actually kissed each other. Willingly.

I’m head over heels and I can’t believe that just happened out of nowhere. I can’t even explain this feeling. His lips slightly and softly sat upon mine as I didn’t move one bit, just wanting to live for this moment, just wanting to see if Baekhyun was actually going to go through with it. Nor did I say one word. I just allowed it to happen.

As soon as our lips touched, I felt like my worries were completely gone. I didn’t think about anything else other than Baekhyun. He was suddenly all I was able to think about. I felt like a ton of my problems were lifted from my shoulders and I was able to just forget about it all, as if I was ready to finally be happy again.

He kept his hand on the back of my neck. As for me, I just allowed him to do it as I was also studying his every move. Suddenly, his tongue reached out gently, my lips as he asked for permission. I slightly opened my mouth, letting him in. In no time, we were making out. Right there. His other hand reached for my cheek, caressing in harmony. I’m kissing Byun Baekhyun, is this a dream right now?

Then, before it could barely reached its , Baekhyun pulled away a little, “I’m so sorry.” He was quick to apologize.

I was suddenly flustered, hoping it wasn’t something I did to make him stop, “Oh umm, no you didn’t do anything wrong…” I managed to admit.

“I did. I shouldn’t have kissed you considering… our circumstances and whatnot.”

That made me think, “Why did you kiss… me?” The tension was high but I ignored it. Why did he kiss me the way he did?

Baekhyun rubbed the back of his neck with a friendly smirk on his face, “It seemed right.” Those three words will probably stick with me for the rest of my life.

“But if it was right, then why did you pull away?” I don’t know why I’m questioning him so much. I guess it’s because my guard is up now.

“I didn’t want to spark any false hope, any sweet nothings.” His eyes turned soft and delicate as he didn’t make any eye contact with me at all.

That kiss clearly showed me that we somehow both wanted it. He leaned in and I didn’t retreat. At some point, it was right. He being Byun Baekhyun is what makes it wrong. I understood what he meant, “I see what you mean.”

“I’m sorry.” He said, “But don’t get me wrong. You’re one of the coolest people I’ve ever met. And I’d love to spend more time with you.”  My heart was beating so fast, Baekhyun could probably see my heart beat increasing by the second, “I think the reason why I wanted to keep in touch with you after I saw your video was because something told me that you were a very special person. You’re so pretty too. And I like your attitude so far. You’re so put together but yet can be so broken at the same time. That’s where I’m able to appreciate you even more. And I love what you do.
