“…..and the fires from heaven will smite you down…”

Sehun stares at the pastor, grumpily. He couldn’t give a fu- he quickly looks up at the vault of the church, eyes wild and terrified and almost expecting lightning to strike him down for swearing in a church. 15 scary seconds later when nothing happens he sighs in relief and sinks into his seat. The second he does this however there is a streak of bright light in the window next to him and a loud rumble of thunder.

He jumps in his seat and “FU-”. His aunt in the seat next to him reaches over, quick as quick, and pinches his thigh really hard. He gives a small squeak of pain and tries to make himself look as small as possible in his seat. He sulks, feeling like he is 7 years old all over again instead of a twenty-five year old man with rent to pay and a crappy career complete with a jackass of a boss.

Sehun didn’t want to be dragged to church at 7 freaking am in the morning so that he can help his aunt scope out the latest guy she has picked out to set up with his cousin, Sejung. But here he is listening to rants about hellfire and whatnot, when he could have been out doing exciting things. This thought makes him laugh which he quickly disguises as a cough. His life was exciting as lukewarm dishwater.

He just wanted to sleep late, roll around on his bed, maybe laugh at Dino when he attempted to climb up to his bed with his short legs (and failed-yet again), and pretend like he didn’t have to wake up early tomorrow and go work for that bastard Kim ing Jongin.

When the sermon is over his aunt drags him to a corner trying not to look suspicious. Sehun would hate to tell her this but pushing him to a corner and furiously whispering to him ‘there. There. There he is. The one like a giraffe. Don’t look now!!!’ in a voice that is not so quite while heads turn in their direction is more suspicious than ever. All Sehun sees is two ears sticking out of a head full of dark hair that stands about a foot above the rest of the crowd before his aunt shoves him in that direction with a final hiss of “Go check him out and report back immediately!”

“what.” He says intelligently when he crashes on to the back of the said giraffe’s back and the man turns away from the lady he is talking to to look at him and wow he is tall. And it’s not often that Sehun comes across people who are taller than him.

He turns to look at his aunt with pleading eyes and she makes throat-cutting motions at him.

Sehun isn’t really that fond of people. In fact, Sehun is pretty sure he almost always hates all people (except maybe his awesome self. )

But it’s already too late, the tall man’s clever eyes flash over his head and sees her. Her hand motions still in panic and she quickly flutters her hands about her face to look as if she is fanning herself and offers the guy an awkward smile.

Sehun shrugs, now that he is here he might as well do what he is here for. He looks the man up and down, not bad, he is tall and lanky without being stick thin, his eyes are huge but his lips are plush and Sehun
