AUTHOR'S POV (baek su min pov)

chapter two, ft. song:

“OH EM GEE! OMG! Jessica, come here!” I grabbed my roommate’s wrist and flung her across the bed (don’t worry we’re always aggressive with each other. But we never actually hurt one another)

“Yah! I was drying my hair” she picked up the towel and threw it onto the chair, “okay, what now?”

“Look!” I shoved my phone into Jess’ face. She adjusted the distance and examined the screen. After a few seconds a squeal escaped .

“OMG ARE YOU SERIOUS!”
“YES! OMG!”
“JFEAONGAOENGABN”
“YEAH, I KNOW RIGHT!” I said, even though I didn’t know what she was saying.
 

We both jumped around our beds like wild monkeys.

“Okay, calm honey” I said after a minute. I went over to the mirror at the makeup table to fix my hair; it was such a mess.

Once Jess had calmed down as well, she asked me, “how does he know you!?”

“I don’t know” I shrugged.

Okay, that was a big lie. I went to the café he works in every afternoon, after school just to take a glimpse of him and maybe get a chance to talk to him. Call me a creep, whatever, but the café was near my apartment and I actually really like the drinks (…yeah that’s the excuse I tell myself each time)

“So, what are you going to do now?”

“I don’t know… what do you think I should do Jess?”

“Accept it? Duh!”

“But what if finds me desperate for accepting straight away?”

“WOMAN! YOU ARE DESPERATE!”

“YEAH,- I MEAN, NO. BUT LIKE, ANYONE CAN FIND ME DESPERATE BUT HIM.”

“… honey, he already knows you want him” She laughed

I turned pink at the comment, “that’s… yeah, whatever. It’s not like every other girl in the school doesn’t want him” Sigh.

I wait until Jess finally stops laughing. “So, are you going to his café again tomorrow?”

I eyed her, “is that supposed to be a trick question?”

“Right. You go there EVERYDAY.” She exaggerated.
