"Aish..." you pulled your blanket over your head.

 

Ever since BamBam kissed you, you couldn't look him in the eye.

 

Yes, you answered his calls and replied to his messages but you never looked him in the eye. Not once.

 

All of a sudden, your phone rang.

 

"Hello?" you answered.

"Yah!" you heard Mark's voice say loudly. "Did he really...."

"What is it, Mark?"

"Did BamBam really kiss you?!"

 

You didn't say anything.

 

"Answer me!"

"Yes, he did,"

"Heoooool!!!!"

 

You pulled your phone away from your ear a little.

 

He was yelling a bit too loudly.

 

"You're so loud, Mark," you sighed.

"Sorry," he said, lowering your voice. "But I really can't believe it! He actually kissed you! I thought he would be a coward and not do it!"

 

You couldn't think of anything to say to that....

 

"So?"

"So what?"

"Are you two together already?"

"No,"

"No?"

"No,"

"Why not?"

"He's my best friend, Mark!"

"Still! It's love, you know!"

 

You sighed and sat up on your bed.

 

"Listen, Mark," you said. "How am I going to date someone who's my best friend?"

"Why not?" he asked. "You're going to end up married, anyway. Why not get together now?"

 

He was right.

 

You two were already engaged, but....

 

It still wouldn't feel right to be dating your best friend...

 

Even if you were in love with him....

 

"I haven't answered him yet..." you said slowly.

"You haven't?!" he said loudly.

"Mark," you sighed. "Why are you so loud today? What did you eat?"

"Food,"

 

Aish....

 

"Anyway... I haven't said yes yet,"

"Say yes already!"

"I'm not even sure if I should say yes!"

"Just say yes," he told you. "It would be better,"

"Define better...."

"Better... You and BamBam have a happy ending,"

"This isn't a fairytale, Mark,"

"We can make it one!"

"And how are we supposed to do that?"

"Just say yes to BamBam and it'll be a fairytale with a happy ending and without the rainbows and unicorns and all those other things,"

"What's wrong with you today, Mark?"

"Seriously! You're getting married! Just start dating already! You know you're going to end up together in the end, so just date him!"

"Mark?"

"What?"

"Hang up, will you? I want to go back to sleep,"

"Eyy.... Fine. See you,"

"See you,"

 

Then he hung up.

 

You let out a sigh of relief as you laid back down.

 

Just as you closed your eyes, you heard someone yell.

 

"Yah! Don't sleep!"

 

Your eyes shot open.

 

"Aish..." you mumbled. "How'd you get in here?"

"I have a key, remember?"

"I should never have given you that key,"

 

He laughed.

 

"Don't go to sleep!!" he repeated.

"BamBam...." you sighed.

"Get up~" he told you, pulling on your arms.

"Bammie!!" you whined.

 

He sighed.

 

"Fine. Just sleep," he sighed.

 

You raised your eyebrows.

 

You sat up.

 

"Seriously? You sit up when I tell you to sleep?"

 

You smiled innocently.

 

"I'm guessing you have no plans to leave your house today,"

 

You nodded.

 

"I knew it," he sighed.

You leaned away from him.

 

He laughed and ruffled your hair.

 

"Oh come on! You know I won't kiss you! You're my best friend!"

 

You didn't say anything.

 

He stared at you for a while, his mouth forming an 'o' shape.

 

"About that-" he tried to say.

"What?" you raised your eyebrows.

"That wasn't real!"

 

He mentally facepalmed.

 

That came out wrong.

 

"Really?" you said slowly.

"Uhh...."

 

He didn't know what to do now.

 

"So that's it. It wasn't real. That's basically you saying that you were just playing with me,"

 

He was silent.

 

"Forget about it, okay?" he said to you. "It... It was nothing,"

 

You looked at him.

 

"I...." you trailed off. "Okay,"

 

He bit his lip.

 

"Hey," he said softly, putting his hand on your arm.

"What?" you looked at him.

"I've been thinking about something for a while,"

"And that is?"

"I don't know why but I.... I don't want our wedding to be put off,"

 

You stared at him.

 

"You're joking, right?"

 

He shook his head.

 

"I don't know why. I really don't. But I have this feeling that.... That we're meant to be,"

"I never thought of you to be the type to believe in things like that,"

"That's because I'm not. I usually don't believe in things like destiny or whatever,"

"Then what are you saying?"

 

He hesitated.

 

"You don't realize it, do you?"

"Realize what?"

"We've been trying to get out of this engagement for a while, but we're still together. Don't you think it's destiny?"

"What's wrong with you, BamBam?"

"What I'm trying to say is that.... I honestly think you're the one for me. I really think we should end up together. Like it's fate or something,"

"Bammie...."

"I know I might sound crazy right now, because just a while ago I said that our kiss meant nothing, but... I've been dying to do this since last night... So please, don't pull back,"

 

You didn't say anything....

 

But apparently, he took your silence as a yes when he crashed his lips on yours.
