Serin could always tell when Hoon was bored at a photoshoot or filming. He would begin sending her messages, one after the other repeatedly, until she answered him. He’d get disappointed if she told him that she was busy, but at least saying anything, even if it wasn't what he wanted to hear, would stop the barrage.

“Serin-ah~~!!” he sent. “I’m bored again~!”

She happened to not have much to work on that evening, sitting on the couch with the computer on the coffee table in front of her, watching TV, so she answered him immediately. “You’re always bored during the solo shots. You should talk to the members.”

“You’re better conversation than they are. >_<”

“I wasn’t complaining. Just pointing out that you could talk to them instead. Kekeke.”

“Oh… That’s good. What are you up to today?”

“Not too much. I got into a fight with Hyunsaeng,” she admitted.

“Oh… what did he do?”

“He called me fat.”

“I’m sure he didn’t call you fat. He was probably joking around since you’re pregnant.”

“I don’t care if it was a joke,” she replied, fairly surprised that he’d ever take Hyunsaeng’s side over hers. “I’ve told him to stop pointing it out. I don’t like hearing him talk about how big I’ve gotten. I hate it.”

“It’s nothing to hate,” he messaged in response. “You are still phenomenally beautiful, even more so because our baby is what’s causing the extra you dislike so much.”

“I know. But it’s… embarrassing to be so big.” She knew she wasn’t even close to how full she’d look at the end of her pregnancy. She dreaded getting to that point.

“I’ll talk to Hyunsaeng. He doesn’t need to upset you so much. And trust me, I still find you beautiful even if you don’t think you are right now.”

“Thank you.” She truly was thankful. Hoon was a bit intimidated by Hyunsaeng, so it meant extra that he was going to speak up for her. “How goes the MV?”

“We’re nearly halfway done. We’ll be changing our outfits and going to the other set at this location once everyone is finished and happy with their solo shots.”

“Try to get some rest. You get… weird when you haven’t slept any.”

“I know. But I can’t sleep. I get too puffy.”

“Your face barely swells at all, Hoonmin,” Serin messaged seriously. “You should rest. And I’ll be sure to make you a healthy breakfast/lunch for when you get home.”

“You’re the best! ^_^ Make sure there’s plenty of protein!”

“I would never deprive you of your precious protein!” she responded jokingly.

“Health is important! Speaking of… how are you? Is everything going well?”

“No problems! Our baby is healthy in there.”

“That’s good. I worry about you a lot.”

“I know you do,” she messaged. Their conversation continued throughout his lull in activity. Eventually Serin couldn’t stay awake any longer. “Goodnight, Hoonie! Love you!”
