After Graduation.
My house, My rules.
Graduation was the last day I saw the guys, everytime they phoned to meet me afterwards, knowing Kris would be there, I wouldn't go, I'd make up an excuse about parents or other things.
I ended up getting an apartment above a coffee shop that I had gotten a job at.
The job was good, the pay was alright, but it was better than living with someone I couldn't even look at.
I already made a new friend at my new job, his name was Byun Baekhyun, he was hilarious. He made me laugh without even trying.
"Mei~ When are we going to hang out properly?" He pouted at me, leaning on the other side of the counter.
I frowned at him. "Baekhyun, get back to work..."
"So cold..." He pretended to shiver.
I laughed and rolled my eyes. "If you work today, we'll go do something fun at some point okay?"
He nodded and practically skipped away to continue cleaning tables.
I went into the back of the store to put the dirty cups in the dish washer.
Baekhyun's voice echoed through the front. "Mei you have some customers!"
I rolled my eyes, as I came through. "Can't you serve them yourself you lazy-" But I was stopped short when Luhan, Lay and Xiumin stood by the counter, smiles spread across their faces. "Oh... it's you"
"Well hello to you too, you didn't tell us you worked here" Luhan smirked.
I rolled my eyes and went to the counter. "What can I get you?"
Xiumin laughed. "For you to hang out with us at least once?"
Baekhyun came skipping over and leaned on my shoulder. "Are these friends of yours?"
"They are." I bat him off me.
Baekhyun pouted, but then turned to them. "Is she this cold to you guys?.. I can't get her to hang out with me"
"Yeah... she's this cold. We haven't seen each other since Graduation" Lay nodded.
I frowned. "You guy's know I've been busy, why are you picking on me?"
"Customers are always right Mei," Luhan smirked.
Baekhyun smiled at him. "I like these guys"
"You would!" I pushed him "Go back to work"
