WELCOME TO YG HIGH -- not your typical high school. It houses the famed music department, where high school students train to be the next idols of YG Entertainment. There's a clear social divide between the music majors and the ordinary students of YG High. It was a line no one ever crosses. WINNER, a group of five talented, handsome boys, was on top of that social hierarchy, being the next in line to debut, soon joining the ranks of their sunbaes and YG High alumni. 

Music has always been a huge part of Baek Hana's life, until the tragic day when she lost her Father. After finding out that her Mother left them to pursue her dreams of becoming a singer, Hana realized that music wasn't a blessing to their family, it was a curse. With her Father's death, she also acknowledged the death of music in her life. But what happens when she meets a boy that ignites that love for music again?

Ever since he was little, Kang Seungyoon dreamed of becoming a singer. After being taken in by YG Entertainment, he is into a group that would soon debut, expected to carry the torch for YG Entertainment after Bigbang and 2ne1. Being the leader, he had no time for anything else. Music was his only focus -- his only goal. But what happens when somewhere along the way, he accidentally falls in love?

Song Mino used to be the leader of WINNER, that was until an unfortunate accident that forced him to step down. When Seungyoon took over, there were no ill feelings. Mino looked up to him and respected him, and to some degree, believed that Seungyoon should have been the leader all along. But when they both fall for the same girl, it was a different story. This time, Mino isn't going to give up just like that. He's going to fight.

Nam Taehyun can be considered cold and abrasive, but that's just a defense mechanism. He's still the beloved maknae, and all his hyungs adore him. But even if he is the youngest in the group, he considers himself to be the most mature. He has no time for childish games, especially childish girls. Yoo Kyungmi is everything he hates in a girl. But when a school event leads to them working together, he has no choice but to it up.

Yoo Kyungmi may be part of the elite music department, but she is the of all jokes. For everyone else, she has no real skills to be there. She doesn't dance or sing, she just plays the piano. Even at highest echelon of the social hierarchy, someone has to be at the bottom. That's Kyungmi. But the bullying doesn't stop her from being bright and cheerful.

Jennie Kim is beautiful, talented, and very ambitious. She knows what she wants in life, and she would do anything to get it. In YG High, every guy wants to date her, every girl wants to be her. But she believes Kang Seungyoon is the only boy in school deserving of her. She'll be damned if anybody else takes him away.

Lee Seunghoon has always been considered the funny guy in WINNER, but he knew when to be serious. When things heat up between Seungyoon and Mino, he's the one who steps in and tries to keep the group together. He harbors a crush on Jennie, but she never takes him seriously.

Kim Jinwoo is the nicest guy you'll ever meet. He may have his quirks, including being very awkward and having the worst sense of direction, but he's the one with the biggest heart. His journey to be with WINNER was very rough, so he'll do anything to protect the group from things that threaten to destroy them.
