Kai got back from the cafeteria, he was surprised to see that someone already brought her food, but then he didn’t bothered to ask. He saw how seohyun closed her eyes so firm to ease her somewhat migraine. He placed the tray on the next table and sat beside Seohyun on the bed.

She felt his skin on hers. She bit her lip hard as she tried to look at him with her eyes with pain. Jongin held her hand and placed light kisses there, she managed to smile weakly somehow. She swallowed a cold lump on .

“Why are you doing this?” she said in a raspy tone as she looked back at him.

“Because I wanted to... It’s because it’s what I do... I’m your best friend... just let me take half your pain away”

“You don’t have to do this... Stop courting me... if all I know you’re just doing this to make me experience this whole girlfriend/boyfriend relationship thing... Jongin You know I love you, and that’s the exact reason why I isolated myself... can’t you see... This is me, this is who I am... and in less than a year you know what will happen” There was a sudden outburst of tears from her eyes. Jongin held her face lightly, making her to look straight into his eyes. He pressed his lips on her forehead down to the tip of her nose. He stopped at once, he saw the shock in her face. He tilted his head more to the left and kissed her left cheek.

“I don’t want to get your first real kiss... I want you to give it to the one you’ll fall in love with... well if it’s not me, then at least someone as handsome and a gentleman like me”

“does this mean that... Our one month deal is off?” She tried to smile a bit.

“Of course not, Just stating what’s inside my head... and No again, It’s not just for you I’m doing this, it’s for us... Do you still doubt my feelings?” He didn’t wait for a response. He quickly jumped off the bed and ruffled her hair. He took the food that luhan brought for her and threw it immediately in the trash can. He took the other tray and replaced the other.

“and what was that for?” Seohyun said twitching her brow. She doesn’t have any idea why Kai did that cause it’s literally the same course of food, even the beverage’s exactly the same. Seohyun suddenly remembered that Luhan was here minutes after her left... she also thinks that maybe Kai saw them together.

“don’t mind me ha-ha” she said nervously, kai played his playful smirk. To be honest, he didn’t see anything... but the other students did, even took a photo of Luhan leaning to her... and it spreads in the campus like a wildfire. The reason why he took a bit long is that he demanded everyone who has the picture to take it down/delete it/or burn their freaking phone. Yes he was jealous and yes he doesn’t want the picture to be sent to Seohyun. In short he’s protecting her.

“Come on, lets eat”

“No freaking way! Luhan’s completely moved on! Look at this picture! They look really sweet!” One of the junior said. Yoona’s walking along the corridors and she’s been hearing things about Luhan and that’s he’s completely moved on. She felt really anxious.

“I can’t believe that that NEW GIRL and LUHAN OPPAR are something! I mean, oh my freaking fangirl life! I never shipped someone this hard!” Yoon gave them a taunting glare, but they just smiled... they think of it as a compliment, cause duh... She’s a freaking celebrity on their freaking school

“And you know what! They even have the same schedule! Isn’t that sweetest!” those junior girls were giggling annoyingly that’s been causing Yoona some utterly great disturbance. She’s just heading to her next class when she received a text message. It’s an unknown number and she needs to be very very careful if its just a malware or a virus that would possibly hack her phone. Another text message was sent again from the same number, just as then, she saw Luhan running at full speed to her.

She tapped the phone and the file quickly downloaded. Luhan’s breathes halted, he looked at her straight into her eyes, as if pleading to give him a moment to catch his breath.

“Yoona” She slowly looked at her phone...

“Yoona please, I-I can explain... please” She just gave out a sarcastic smile as she continued looking at her phone, at Luhan’s picture with Seohyun.

“why would you explain things to me Luhan? First and foremost, I don’t care if you’re making out with anybody and Second... take your dirty business outside the school premises, and if you wanted to do it privately, then you should have told me... so I can lend you one of my islands. You are so disgusting, you changed a lot, tell me is it because of that girl? I expected so much from you” He clenched his jaw as his fist tightened. Yoona gave out an exasperated sigh as she her bottom lip.

“well then... I’m just here to clear things with you, I don’t care if your back or if you’re a billion dollar baby now... She’s my girlfriend and it’s normal for couples to make out, and stop acting so clean... Who’s the one who kissed a lot of e guys on your movies, who’s the one who had to strike a daring pose on magazines? And for the record, we didn’t do anything... I respect and love her... and that’s the thing I wanted to explain to you... STOP DREAMING CAUSE WE’LL NEVER BE TOGETHER AGAIN WITH SEOHYUN WITH ME... YOU’RE JUST ONE OF MY FANGIRLS” They already started a scene, they were both in a middle of a circle by the crowd, some were taking photos, video’s and others are already posting live streams of what’s happening.

“excuse me?” Yoona said, trying to be as prim and proper, she knows how to act when there’s a camera around, so here she is... portraying the hardest role she ever had... Talking to her ex boyfriend that up to now feeling nothing but guilt that she had let him go

“well then you better dear, I can see your eyeliner smudging from here... Pardon me I need to go, I’ll leave you and your audience alone” Luhan managed to leave the crowded area and headed for his next class. He cant believed that he literally dropped those words right in front of her. He wasn’t able to concentrate, he’ been thinking way of how to approach her again, he knows that it was so clumsy of him, dragging seohyun in the position when he told her that he wont be using her as his girlfriend to get Yoona jealous...

The day went on, he was off to his practice for football. He saw kai’s eyes piercing on him, but then he was too busy to think of other things... NAMELY YOONA AND SEOHYUN. They started off with stretching and warm ups. The other members of exo also felt the tension between Luhan and Kai, at first they didn’t pay much attention and let them be... but as their practice went by, they saw these odd changes in Kai’s temperature and attitude.

“Hey Kai, this is a jogging not a race. Get your behind the tracks” Kris said coolly, he’s of course in a bright condition... after all, Chen just pay him 20 thousand won after he won their bet... Of course they know less, but still he won, Luhan made the first move, and told the whole campus what he likes seohyun... and to top it all, he said it infront of Yoona

“what?” Kai muttered annoyingly. Kris just cocked his head back and forth. After jogging they took some cool down exercises and headed in the middle of the field. This day they’ll be playing a little game, Exo-k versus exo-m. Xiumin’s on guard for exo-m while Sehun’s for exo-k.

Kris played the loud stereo (instead of using the horn or the whistle, They like practicing to music) , as he placed the ball in the middle. Kai, stretched from side to side as he looked into the ball furiously. Suho mad the first kick, passing it to Chanyeol. He hurriedly made a head bump towards Beakhyun who’s now kicking and running to exo-m’s goal. When he reached their, he made a powerful kick sending the ball to kai, whose been waiting for this all the time.

He gave out his trademark smile as he looked at Luhan intently as he kicked the football aiming towards Luhan’s face. The other members of the team think he’s crazy! He could have kicked it towards the net but to Luhan... seriously

They didn’t bothered stopping the ball, they can see from the way the ball rotates... It’s incredible, They just watched the ball as it hit hard on Luhan’s chest. They were thankful enough that it was very windy cause if not... the football could have made it to Luhan’s precious face. The music stopped and they gathered around Luhan as he hit the bottom. He started wincing in pain, he was immediately bought to the infirmary by the other Exo-m members.

Kris approached Kai. He’s not sure of what’s he’s going to say... He can clearly see how pissed off Kai is to Luhan by just staring at his eyes.

“Don’t talk to me Kris, I don’t care, that Moron deserved it” Kai cursed under his breathes, Kris folded his arms as he raised one of his brows.

“so what did he do?”

“I’d rather not talk about it. I’m going home, Im going to fix this mess tomorrow”

“Talk to him now, it could be worse if you talk to him tomorrow Kai, You don’t know what will happen next today, so I suggest you talk to him... we’re a team, we’re brothers, we shed blood and sweat together, I just can’t let you both have this little fight over some girl you just met.” Suho said.  Kai shifted his gaze, he his bottom lip and cocked his head.

“Seohyun is not just some girl... she’s my bestfriend and I’m just trying to protect her”

“Luhan’s not that bad you know... “ Kris muttered

“say’s the guy who rarely hangs out with us. Say’s the guy who’d preferably stay in Canada for his random girls.” Kai said mocking him. Kris tightened his fist

“Hey I’m also trying to be a good team leader here! If you don’t want to then don’t! God, these immature earthlings!”
