Every night after practice with Hongbin and Hyuk felt like it went the same way after that night. Leo would stay back and help me practice. I would do the best I could but Leo wouldn’t be satisfied and correct me every time until he would finally challenge me and dance as my partner. Then it would end with us making out in the vocal booth until we would get a worried text from N warning us to not over work ourselves and return home soon.

After about a week of this though, I started to feel a little reluctant about Leo’s assistance. I was beginning to think he was just toying with me so he could get rid of some pent up emotions. But would Leo really be a person to do something like that? I found it hard to believe that Leo would use someone, however I didn’t rule it out as his possible intentions of mentoring me.

Tonight I practiced extra hard with Hyuk and Hongbin in hopes N would finally say we were performance ready. They didn’t seem suspicious of Leo offering to help me every night nor did any of them notice how late he would return to the dorm. If I do really well tonight, I won’t have to practice with Leo.

“Kyuri, you lost focus. Stop thinking.” N shouted as he restarted the song.

I sighed and got back into my starting position and stared across the room at Hyuk. We approached each other and got lost in the practice performance. As Hyuk slung his arm across my chest and I leaned my head back, I heard cheers and hollers.

“You did it!” Ken cheered.

Hyuk and I slowly parted as we tried to catch our breath. I looked over at Leo, who was smirking and clapping his hands. Ravi had come over and handed Hyuk and I water bottles and my gaze didn’t leave Leo’s as I took a quick swig.

“Are you ready for Troublemaker?” N asking, motioning with his hand for Hongbin to get into position. “You’re going to have to do the performances back to back so best to practice that too.”

“Hyung, maybe we should do that tomorrow. It’s late and none of us have had a chance to eat dinner yet.” Ravi groaned.

“Yeah, let’s call it a day. They’re doing really well. Reward them.” Ken chimed in.

N looked at his tired members and then looked over at me before sighing in defeat. The members cheered and rushed off to gather up their things so we all could head out. I slowly gathered up my things and put on a jacket to cover up a bit seeing as I was in a loose tank top and gym shorts. I watched as one by one the boys filed out of the practice room and up the stairs. Leo gave me a questioning look, seeing as I was just standing by the door with my stuff, but I motioned my head telling him to go ahead.

I was waiting for N. Whenever I had a problem or something on my mind, I felt I could talk to him about it with more ease than trying to talk to the other members. There was just something about talking to N that made me feel comfortable saying whatever. I was comfortable talking to all of the members but it seemed that N’s advice got through to me the most. Leo and Hongbin wouldn’t respond much. They’re better at listening then giving advice. Ravi and Ken would give some good advice but a lot of the times it would be difficult for me to follow through with it. Hyukkie would try his best to give advice but it was kind of hard for him to advise his noona about some things compared to the others. Plus, N could keep a secret when he knew it was important. If I told him about mine and Leo’s little sessions after practice, he’d help us keep it from the other members.

“Kyuri-yah, come on. You have to eat too.” N said, placing his arm around my shoulder and starting to pull me along with him out of the dance room.

“Hakyeon oppa, can we walk instead of ride in the van? I want to talk to you about something.” I asked as we made our way up the stairs.

N’s expression turned from a cheerful one to a worried expression. “Are you okay? Are you feeling nervous about the showcase?”

I shook my head. “It’s about Taekwoon oppa.”

N looked confused for a second but nodded. He held his hand up to me telling me to stay put while he jogged over to the van and told their manager that we’d be walking to the restaurant. It wasn’t that far of a walk so he nodded started to drive the other members there. I could see that a few of them were causing a bit of a commotion when they saw that their leader and I were not getting into the van and I started to laugh. It was probably Hyuk and Ken saying they wanted to get out and walk too.

N walked back over to me and pet my head. “Now what about Leo?”

I couldn’t slow my speech as I rattled off all the details of the past week. I told him about how Leo really did help me with the choreography but every time we stayed after practice it would lead to something else. N remained quiet the whole time I was talking, taking in everything I was entrusting him with. I told him my thoughts and fears about continuing this kind of relationship with Leo, especially because I was only a trainee and Leo’s only reasoning for his actions was because he liked me, or so that’s all he has said anyway.

N pursed his lips as he thought over all of what I had said. “Oppa, has he said anything to you? I know you were the one that pushed him to help me in the first place.”

N shook his head. “I just picked up the vibe that he possibly liked you. He never verified or denied that he did whenever I would ask. I thought if he helped you prepare for the showcase, he’d understand his feelings more.” He tapped his finger on his chin as we continued to think. “Do you want me to ask him about his feelings for you? I can talk to him about it tonight.”

“That’s okay. I don’t want him to know that I’ve talked to you about all of this. I don’t think he really cares about anyone finding out but it’ll be less troublesome for him if no one pesters him about it, you know?”

“You know our Leo so well, little Kyuri.” N smiled and pinched my cheek, jokingly. “Okay. I won’t talk to him. If anything else comes up, you come tell me and I’ll help you through it.”

We had reached the restaurant by now and I quickly hugged N before we walked in. “Thank you, oppa.”

More time had passed and it was now only three weeks before the showcase. By now, I didn’t really need Leo’s help after practice however we would still hang back after the others left and practice together before fooling around. Today for some reason though, the atmosphere felt different. Leo’s touches were needier. His kisses were sloppy. He pressed his body against mine a lot more than normal. Normally there was a little bit of space between us.

I broke the kiss and gasped when I felt Leo’s hand run up under my shirt. “Oppa!”

He didn’t say anything and just continued what he was doing and began to kiss my neck. My eyes drifted close and I felt myself get lost in this new sensation that was taking over my body. I felt like the room was on fire and my breathing was quick. I had never really fooled around with my past boyfriends like this so I wasn’t very experienced. At this point, I wasn’t sure if I should push Leo away or go along with what he was doing.

He bunched up my shirt in his hands and started to pull it up over my head. “Oppa, what if we get caught?”

He let my shirt fall back down and narrowed his eyes at me. “Have we gotten caught before?”

“No but you never know.” I said. “And do you even have protection? And isn’t this a tight squeeze? I mean look how much room we have.” I leaned forward and touched the wall behind Leo, slightly pushing him back as I did so.

He sighed and opened the door to the vocal booth. “Would you feel better if we made a stop at the convenience store and did this somewhere else?”

My eyes widened. “But s-s-someone will recognize you if y-you buy….it’ll start a scandal! And where would we go?”

Leo shook his head and couldn’t help but smirk. “You worry too much. Trust me.” He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the vocal booth.

We held hands as we walked. Leo had put on a hat and a mask before we left the practice room. It was a little difficult to recognize him this way however that didn’t settle my anxieties that was were eating me away. I stood out front of the convenience store as Leo went inside. The mere thought of what I knew he was buying didn’t calm my nerves but heightened them.

I jumped when I felt him lace his fingers with mine again. I hadn’t heard the convenience store door open. “You okay?” He asked.

I nodded. “Of course. You just surprised me, that’s all.”

I wasn’t really sure where Leo had in mind for us to continue where we left off earlier, but I was really hoping he wasn’t thinking of just doing it at my dorm. I always feared that my neighbors would hear my practicing my singing at all hours of the day whenever I was home, so I figured if they could hear that they would more than likely hear whatever Leo and I would end up doing. Sure enough though, my dorm was exactly where Leo had in mind.

“Oppa, we can’t do this here.” I said in a hush voice as we stopped in front of my door.

“Why not?” He seemed to be getting aggravated with me. His voice sounded annoyed to me and I could see the wrinkles on his forehead from narrowing his eyes at me.

“It’s late and my neighbors might hear us.”

“Why are you so scared? You seemed fine before.”

“I just…”

“Do you not trust me? Was this all just a game to you? I really like you, Kyuri-yah.” I never knew Leo could raise his voice. Normally when he talked, his voice was so gentle and soft. This voice was hard and shook me with slight fear.

“No, I like you too. It’s just…do we have to do this tonight?”

“But I feel that’s going to be your excuse every night. Why not tonight? When would be a good night for you? When we go on tour for the showcase? You want to worry about the other members hearing us through the hotel walls? You know they’d be more suspicious then if I was in your hotel room.”

Leo didn’t seem like himself as he continued to complain. I couldn’t even believe this was all happening right now. Leo didn’t seem like the type to get upset over not spending the night together, nor did he seem like the type to rush into something like that. However I still couldn’t help but feel bad. Maybe he was right. Maybe tonight was a perfect night for this. When else would we have such a perfect opportunity?

“I’m sorry. Maybe you’re right.” I interrupted Leo as I looked down at my feet.

Leo pulled me into his arms and held me tightly before pulling away slightly, just enough so he could lean down and place his lips on my hungrily. I felt slightly embarrassed because we were still out in the hallway and broke the kiss so I could turn around and open my door.

Once we were inside my dorm and the door was closed, Leo was all over me again just like he was back in the vocal room earlier. Once both of us had managed to kick our shoes off, he picked me up and wrapped my legs around his waist as he blindly made his way through my dorm, in what I believed was his search for my room. He was able to find it without much struggle and I soon found my back colliding with my mattress and Leo peeling off his shirt.

I couldn’t help but let my eyes wander over his torso. His collar bone was slightly sticking out. His arms were thin and toned. His six pack was just visible in the darkness of my room. I hadn’t noticed that I had subconsciously reached out to touch him until I felt Leo’s hand grip my wrist tightly and both of my hands were pinned above my head.

He attacked my neck again and, with his free hand, he again bunched up my shirt revealing my sports bra. A blush covered my cheeks and I tried to turn away as Leo began to knead of my s. I heard him chuckle and he moved his head up to kiss me.

The rest of what happened all seems like a blur. I know it didn’t take very long for the rest of our clothing to meet Leo’s shirt on the floor. There was some involved but Leo wasn’t very patient and I found myself gripping the sheets as he entered me. It all seemed to drag on for forever and I couldn’t help but let a few tears slide down my cheeks. This wasn’t really what I had wanted. I like Leo but I wasn’t sure if I really was ready to be his lover. It was far too late to be reconsidering all of this now though.

I had fallen asleep not long after and woke up the next morning alone with a note from Leo on my nightstand. I wrapped my sheets around me and ran my fingers through my hair. My body ached and I noticed that my wrists had slight bruises on them from Leo holding onto my too tightly.

I contemplated on whether I should even read the note or not. The only thought that was crossing my mind at the moment was to call N and ask him to come over so I could tell him what happened. He would know what to say or do to make all of this seem like it wasn’t a big mistake.
