From the bed she watched as the smoke from his cigarette danced around the dark hotel room. The only light provided was that from the desk were he sat and wrote, escaping into a different world. She watched as he crumpled another paper and threw it in the waste basket. She observed as his muscles in his back rippled as he concentrated on the piece of paper, he took a swig of his drink.    She slowly got up trying to find her clothes that had been scattered around the room. She tried her best not to make any noise but failed when she hit the night stand with her foot.   "Dammit." she sat on the bed pulling on her jeans.    "Where are you going?" he looked at his phone.    "Home." she pulled her shirt on.   It was like this all the time after they used each other she would always leave.
