Chapter Four
She's Gone Overboard
It's been so long since I've slept in a comfortable bed. I pulled the covers over my head as the sunlight started to shine in.
"Yah! Yonghwa, please close the blinds, I'm trying to sleep." I yelled out, half asleep.
"Ahrasso. Just go back to sleep, beautiful." I felt a light kiss on my forehead and that's when I knew something was fishy.

"Mianhae, my love. I'm needed at the company for a last minute dance practice. I promise to come back in time for lunch. For now, just rest. Sweet dreams." And before my mind could comprehend, the clicking of the door filled the room.
Feeling fully rested, I decided to freshen up and wait for him. I honestly don't know why I'm putting myself back into this mess. Like Yonghwa said, I can't think about just myself anymore.
It's now 4:00 PM. Another broken promise.
I lightly touched my swollen abdomen and whispered,
"Don't worry baby. Mommy will fix this. Hang in there, okay? I promise to give you the best life possible. Yonghwa-ajusshi will make sure of that. I love you. Muah!" Giving invisible kisses to the latest & greatest love of my life.
