Hanging up, she glared at the person before her.

Nudging his pistol deeper in her ribs, he chuckled. "What a beautiful girl you are. There's no doubt that you'll have Sehun and Kai after you." his lips, the man, whose face she could not see, leaned closer to her, inhaling her scent. "Would you be interested in playing with me?" Upon his words, Su Min found her body shivering uncontrollably in fear. Her heart was beating like crazy, while her mind was screaming to calm down, but with no luck. The war inside her had no hint of an end as she felt his breath on her neck, causing her stomach to protest in fear. She thought that it won't happen. She refused to be a victim.

"What do you want?" She managed to contain her emotions as she moved a step back. Bumping into her drawer, she remembered where she had put the knife she bought just the same day, some hours ago, from a local antique shop. She just hoped that she didn't buy a fake one. As she kept eye contact with eyes that she didn't even see from his shadowed face, she took a deep breath and accepted the fact that she might get hurt from the following.

"Nothing, actually. I just wanted to see you up close. So you are the famous Choi Su Min. Wonderful, I will make sure to remember your face." Her hand traveled slowly to the cupboard from where she suddenly pulled out the knife, stabbing him in the shoulder. She didn't even know if she was going to be alive, if he hadn't pulled down his pistol, but as soon as he screamed in pain, she kicked him in the crotch, her hand immediately traveling to his, from where she succeeded in getting the gun, only to throw it across the room.

The third thing she did was scream and as soon as she did, security marched into her room, pulling her away from the intruder. Seeing how he was surrounded by them, she sighed and let herself fall on the ground in exhaustion.

"His name is Kim Pil Suk." The police officer spoke as he gave her a cup of water. "You know Korean?" Su Min nodded her head as she took the cup from his hands, only to hold it under , where it stayed on place. She was far from thirsty.

The man chuckled softly and nodded as he took a seat in front of her. "Actually I was on duty leave as I was looking for him. Our country wants him for various criminal acts, including illegal gambling and blackmailing."

"When can I go home?" She stuttered as she felt chills run down her spine as the image of his sick grin appeared in front of her eyes. She just wanted to go back home, nothing more.

"Your guardian has just arrived in Beijing." Su Min looked up, her eyes showing surprise. "I haven't called for anyone." The officer nodded and took out a file. "According to the hotel, they received a call from... Kim Jongin asking for information about your state. He clearly stated that he is your fiancé, in order for the staff to give him your hotel room number."

Blinking in confusion, Su Min couldn't help but crack a little smile at his foolish act.

The police officer raised a brow, giving her a smirk. "I am guessing that he is not your fiancé?" Shaking her head, Su Min chuckled softly.

Sighing, she thanked the police officer as he left the room. As soon as she was left alone, her mind started playing over and over the terrifying moment. Somehow she felt that it wasn't that scary now. She wasn't scared anymore after hearing that Kai was coming for her.

As soon as Kai entered the room where she was, he pulled her into his embrace, not stopping himself from constantly kissing her head as she silently cried. "Was he there when I called you? Was that bastard there?" His voice cracked as he slowly fell on his knees with her following. As they hit the ground, he held her closer, leaning his back on the wall. Hitting his head on the wall, a tear rolled down his cheek as he blamed himself for everything.

After all, that lunatic was originally after him and his place in his uncle's company.

"You are so brave." He kissed her head softly, his hand her back. "Remind me not to make you angry again." They both chuckled as she hit him playfully. "I'm so proud of you." He whispered softly as he raised her chin, creating eye contact. "You are perfect." He smiled and kissed her lips, mentally begging for her not to pull away. She didn't.

The kiss was short, but sweet. Tears stopped falling as Su Min's frown turned into a soft smile. He smiled as well, as he pulled her closer, leaning his forehead on her shoulder. "I won't leave you anymore. I promise."

"I love you." She suddenly spoke and smiled when he looked up. Staring at her, he wondered if he had just misheard, since it was his dream to hear it from her. Hoping that it wasn't his imagination, he opened his mouth slowly, only to be interrupted by her soft nod.

"I love you." She repeated, a chuckle raising in , giving him the most determined look. She knew what she was saying and she didn't regret it. She was sincere.

Kai chuckled softly, as he couldn't find the words to speak. Scared not to ruin the moment, he couldn't help but chuckle again as she grinned. "Took you long enough." He muttered only to be hit again by her playful fist. 

As they both laughed, Kai her hair, nodding. "Let's go home." Nodding, Su Min let him help her stand up and slowly walked to the exit of the police station. As soon as they opened the door, they were rudely greeted by a wave of flashes and yells from reporters that had gathered around them. Kai cursed as he immediately took of his coat, placing it around her body. Placing a hand on her shoulder, he pressed her closer to his body, trying to somehow protect her identity as they walked in between the arrogant crowd.

"A good way to ruin the moment." He couldn't help but sigh as he tried to ignore the shouts for him, trying to focus on getting to the car instead. Why did everything happen when it wasn't supposed to?

Aigoo, when did I last update? Mian, I am stressed out. OKAY GUYS! This goes for everyone: "Fix Me", "Kai, Shut Up!" and "Memento" subscribers, I WILL BE officially back on the third of June, like properly back, full with energy.
