[Flashback]

Hand in hand Jieun was walking with Jaehyun around Seoul, it was jaehyun’s birthday and he wants to have a Seoul date with Jieun which she couldn’t help but to say yes. Jaehyun has been there for her when times got rough. He was the one who helped her fixed herself and put her shattered pieces back together that’s why she can’t really say NO to his invite.

While walking around Myeongdong, they went shopping and ate at Jaehyun’s family restaurant which was located near the area. Jieun is very thankful to jaehyun’s care and kindness but she still can’t forget about kai, especially when she’s carrying his child in her stomach. Jaehyun knows it all but despite knowing, he didn’t avoid jieun, he was sort of a pillar to jieun, jieun knows that jaehyun likes her but she’s still unsure whether to accept his feeling wholeheartedly because she knows deep inside her heart she still likes kai.

“Are you okay?” Jaehyun asked when he saw Jieun staring at nowhere

“Yes I’m fine” Jieun smiled to ease jaehyun’s worry but still he was not satisfied. Jieun was scared, afraid that maybe she’ll bump into Kai while in Seoul but luckily luck is on her side, she hadn’t seen any marks of Kai.

Jieun ordered Samgyetang (Chicken porridge) because she has been craving for it. Jaehyun gladly served her order as he sat infront of her and accompany her to eat.

“Are you going to tell him?” He asked. “tell who what?” Jieun innocently replied

“About his child, Kai” He said as she was taken a back and shook her head signaling a NO

“I’m scared” she muttered lowly “scared that he’ll hate my child and convince me to do unpleasant things to it, I’m scared maybe he’ll go---“

“Shhh, I know, I won’t ask anymore” Jaehyun smiled as he saw jieun lowered her head and was about to cry. “Don’t worry I’ll protect you and your child” he smiled as he patted her back slowly, went to her and hugged her.
