"I need you. " 

You were silent. 
His eyes back on yours  as he paced slowly to you. 

" I need you. " He mumbled again, softly. 
But, his eyes were cold. 
It felt.... foreign. 
You don't recognise them. 
A small fear grows larger in you. 
You gripped the side of the table, unknowingly, as you tried to face him bravely. 

"W-what ..? " Sounding a bit more brave than you truly are. 
Inside you, all you are chanting is, 
" Remember, he's a demonic angel, he's a demonic angel, he's a demonic angel. "

He gave a sigh as he heavily put out his foot to walk towards you. 
He seemed to have second thoughts. 

"Y-you.. ," he sigh, "I..I..," he sighed again. 

"What? " You asked again. 
Only, fear was clearly heard. 

He sensed it. 
"Forget it. I shouldn't have asked you, what was I thinking?! " 
He set the drink down on the stone table harshly and looked away. 
You could see his hands curled tightly. 

You, not knowing you would ever have the courage to do this, stood up, walk towards him, held his hand, tilted your hands so his eyes were in contact with yours, and said the next line, "Tell me. " softly. 

He bit his lips, you could his the fast darting of his eyes, it flashed brilliant silver as he darted, and hesistated. 

"I.." he couldn't finished. 

He looks.... like a stranger now. 
You don't know who he is. 
A flash of red across his eyes, before shock could be registered in you.. 
He stood up, and pushed you away. 
You stumbled a few steps back and fell backwards, before you could winced in pain, he spread his wings and pierced through the clouds. 

Your heart felt fear and cold again. 
How.. how could he just pushed you? 

Wasn't he the man who claims he love you? 
Wasn't he suppose to protect you like he promised?
You bit your lips hard, you could feel your jaws trembling as your mind went crazy with such thoughts. 

"Liar. " You spat out. " LIAR! " 

You dusted your hands, and glanced at that drink. 

You glared at the skies, the spot that he disappeared, while reaching for the drink, and smashing the cup down in anger, creating a messy splash around everywhere. 

You were about to stomp away, back down, back where you came from, ...when you heard rumbling of roars. 
You squinted your eyes in the direction of the roars, and you saw a ball of black heading your way. 
Your instinct pulled you into the cave. 
Wait.. it wasn't instinct, it..was a force. 
Something kept you trapped in that cave, and you fell down soaked with that beverage you threw on the ground. 
You were digusted, but not for too long, as that ball of black slammed down onto the ground. 

You were paralysed with fear. 

You.. you.. couldn't move. 

That ball of black were.. 
Daehyun... against two beast. 

You knew it was Daehyun, 
yes, "it" , it wasn't Daehyun's human form. He.. he was scaly, dark, and...frightening. And, you knew it was Daehyun because of his wings. 

But the other two... 

Then, the two beast shot you a taunting glare, with.. a devilish smirk. 
You felt your nerves, your blood, your bones frozen in position. 

Your mind, spoke on its own, screamed, "Himchan and YongGuk. " 

They gave each other knowing glances, and Himchan held Daehyun down as YongGuk dashed towards you. But you immediately backtracked a couple steps, safely hidden in the cave, if not, at least a safe distance from YongGuk. 
It was probably reflex because you didn't know you could move that fast.. or.. was it reflex?! 
Now you're so utterly frightened and confused, you're not sure of anything. 

But.. Yongguk couldn't come in. 

He found himself smashing against something invisible, groaning frustratedly. 

He shot a glare at laughing Daehyun who with a sudden surge of energy, pinned Himchan down on the ground, watching him struggle, as Daehyun pierced his fangs, which you never knew he had, against Himchan's cold dark flesh. 

Yongguk roared in anger and pounced on Daehyun, but he found himself stuck in position. 
Daehyun got up from Himchan, you saw Himchan's bitten flesh that was rotting in an odd manner trickling out purplish black... blood? It wasn't watery, it was thick, and.. slimey. 
But Yongguk, couldn't move. He was trapped in an invisible cage. 
He tried to attacked you, then as if something bit him, he groaned in agony letting his knees crashed on the ground. Then he tried to dash for Daehyun, then something seemed to smack him at the back of his head, which you can't see, and knocked him down. 

Daehyun's teeth were stained purple black. Trickling slowly, some spilling out of his black lips,... he wiped away with the back of his hands. 

You were frightened. 
No. You..You don't know how to feel. 

Daehyun walked closer to you. 
He walked through the entrance of the cave, ... when Yongguk can't. 
You were frightened. 
Your mouth spoke for you. 

"Stop Stop!! Don't come close! Don't! " 
You pulled your knees closer and you started crying. 
It wasn't crying like a baby. 
It was like sobbing with no tears. 
You felt lifeless from what had happened before you. 

But Daehyun,.. 
Like how he has always listened to you, stopped short in his tracks. 

You heard YongGuk at the back scoffing, "YOU FOOL! EVEN SHE CAN'T LOVE YOU, WHY DO YOU TRY?! YOU'RE AN IDIOT! " 

You just covered your ears and started to cry harder. 

"I TOLD YOU, YOU'RE A DE-GEL (Demonic Angel). LET US GO NOW YOU THIS **ASTARD. " 

You kept crying. 

What happened? 
How did Daehyun became like this? 
Didn't he say he was different? 
Why did he pushed you away? 
Why did he do that to HimChan?
Was he the one causing all those invisible force on both of them? 
And you? Being pulled into the cave? 
Why did he became all so scaly and dark and evil? 
What did YongGuk meant? 

Is.. this still love? 

But, he did save you. 
If he caused those force that pull you around, trapped YongGuk.. he still loved you. 

You, fearfully tilted your head upwards.. 
He was still there.. not having moved a step from where you made him stopped. 
But... he was no longer black and scaly. 
He was his human form again. 

His eyes were like silver lights, glistening with spirit. 
He tried to force a smile as he realised you looked up. 
Those thoughts still ran through your mind, but.. you felt different. 

Is Love something that you love this person for the way he is, even if he has changed? 
What's important is the inside or the outside? 

Could you.. still love this man who has become a demonic angel? 

You chewed your lower lips, but you have stopped crying. 
You barely noticed that agonising scream YongGuk gave out as he vented on invisible pillars that trapped him. 

You looked at Daehyun again. 
His gaze never left. 

You didn't know if you had the strength to move. 
You just tried.. 
But you realised you couldn't. 
You have over shocked your systems. 

You tried to speak, " D-dae-e? " you stammered. 
You were not feeling as afraid, but still.. 

He smiled. 
He finally smiled. 
You recognised that smile. 
That beautiful smile. 

" Yes? " He sang. 

For odd reasons, it felt normal. 
You didn't had the perception that he was a demonic angel. 
He was still Dae. 
Your perfect Dae. 

"W-why? " you still couldn't speak your heart. 
Only repeatedly doubting his love, since the first moment you met him today. 

He looked pained. 
He braved a smile, " They wanted to absorb you in them. " he replied softly. 

YongGuk cackled with much evil after Daehyun's words and you could feel his eyes bore holes through you. 
"Yess..... " YongGuk hissed. 
You shuddered in fear. 

" But I'm here.. It's my place,..Our Place, " he corrected himself. 

You felt piercing pain shot through your head. 
A headache. 
What is going on? 

"Channie? " you squeaked out softly. 
You couldn't possibly finished that sentence. 

He his lips nervously. 
" I... I.. " 

You looked away, heavy breathing. 

" I only stunned him, making him unconscious. Really... " he said defensively. 

You sighed. 

You stood up.. 
You tried. 
Your legs were still jelly from the shock, you felt as if blood had been drained of them. 
You wobbled a little and you could feel him about to rush and hold you up. 
You showed him your palms as an indication that you didn't want him to do that. 

You your cheeks in, closed your eyes and steady your breath. 

" I am.. " you enunciated sharply, " going to give you ten minutes to explain, if not I'm going home, " you looked in his beautiful eyes, " for good. " that hurt your heart. 
And that hurt his probably. 

He nodded his head thoughtfully. 

He glared at YongGuk, and for some odd reasons, YongGuk fell backwards, unconcious too... 
You gasped and throw a fearful glance at Daehyun. 

He tried to give you a reassuring smile, " I.. only made sure that only both of us are hearing what I'm about to say. They can't know this. " he bit his lips nervously. 

" Still want a drink? " he chuckled nervously... 
He did, he did realised.. 
He realised that you threw the drink... 

Ego got the better of you. 
Though your throat was parched from all the crying. 

He smiled, he didn't force you. 

He took a seat, and you preferred to stand. 
He his lips, and allowed you to do what you want. 

He heave a sigh, and murmured, "Where should I begin? " 

"What are you? " you spat your first few words. 

" A demonic angel? " he laughed. 

" You're evil? " you kept a straight face. 

" I can control. " he smiled. 

" Why? " 

"Why not? " he smirked.

" Then.. " you glanced at the unconscious YongGuk and HimChan.. 

" They lost it themselves, they threw themselves into that pit of negativity. " 

"And you? " you raised an eyebrow. 

He looked away, uncomfortable. 
" It was tough.. " 

"Sorry? " 

"It was tough, " he looked at you. 
" Without you. " He bit his lips. 

"... " you couldn't speak a word. 

" I.... visited you somedays,... somedays when I was going crazy and had burst of energy, but those times when you were asleep. " 
You could feel your hairs standing. 

" And.. I always reminded myself how much I love you. I'm doing this, for you, and you for me, because I love you and you... love me. "
He said the last few words unconfidently, as he played with his fingers. 

"I mean... I had to be strong for you. " He gave you a short glance before looking back at his fingers. 

"So.. I trained myself. "  He pressed his hands firmly as if he was massaging his hands. 
"That I will sink into that, to only master the great skills, but I must only be back out, for the sake of you. " he looked at you at the last part. 

You were confused. 

" What ...What are you saying? "

" I told you, " he kept a straight face, " When you become a demonic angel, you'll forget your Human form. Your nature. It's like an addiction. 
And... you'll just sink in that addiction and you can't get out. 
That's what happened to them. " he gave a pitiful glance. 

" And... ?" you spoke softly. 

" And... I used you to make sure I wouldn't be like them. " 

" What made you all like this? " you asked quietly. 

He shrugged, " I wished I knew. " 
He kept silent for a while. 
"But then again, I wished I don't. " 

You were trying to process his words he filled it up for you. 

"If I am oblivious like now, I wouldn't be trying hard to go back to the past and change. 
I will only focus on working on the present and future. 
So... " He shyly lowered his head, 
" I could be with you. " he said it so soft, like a whisper. 

Could you trust him? 

You sighed. 
This is too much to handle. 

"Ho-How could I help you? " you couldn't believe you asked this. 
It was like an invitation to disaster. 

His eyes lit up. 
Then he pondered. 
The bright eyes dimmed and darkened. 
His face grew solemn. 

" Neverminds, we shall not walk down that path." 

"What?" 

"Look, its dangerous! " he hissed. 

"But... " 

"NO BUTS. " He growled. 

"No... " he murmured. 
He lowered himself to the seat as he realised he had gotten too agitated. 

" I don't want to lose you. " he whispered painfully. 
You could see he was close to tears. 

"Yes, Yes," your heart assured yourself, " He's the man you love. He is! " 

Your brain still had doubts. 

" I don't want to lose them. " You said firmly. 

"No.. " he groaned.. " Baby,.. No.. " 

"Yes. " you said firmly. 

You don't know what you are doing, but since you're stuck here. 
You're stuck here like them. 
You got to help them. 
Since Daehyun has a way.. And.. well.. 
You don't know. 
You rather stay here with Daehyun than to go back to that life without him. 
Painful memories. 

" Daehyun, please."

He gave you a long stare as he debated with himself. 

" Let me think.. " he concluded. 

You gave a sigh and walk away. 
" You're not doing anything good at all. "

"I'm protecting you! " he insisted. 

You closed your eyes and pressed the side of your forehead. 

" Daehyun, ... " 
You don't know what to say. 

"Baby,... I am trying to understand this situation. 
I need you to understand that I came here with no turning back. 
I came with anger, trying to vent them on you.. 
Then I realised this anger dissolved into fear. 
Then.. when it all happened, I didn't know how to feel. 
Now that you've explained, I guess it became responsibility. 
Daehyun, I need you back. Anything to save you. " 

The longest you have ever spoke. 
You spoke your mind. 
But.. was it correct? 
He was still evil. 
He still had evil. 

He... 

" Let me think. " He growled. 

Even after your speech. 

You scowled. 

"I'm going to take a walk to understand everything.. " 

".. " Daehyun messed his hair up. 
Then.. it registers in him. 

"OhMyGod, BABY WAIT!!! " He ran after you. 
It was too slow, once you stepped out of the cave, Yongguk and HimChan came to life. 

As they woke up, a snarl grew on their face as they cracked their knuckles and muscles on their necks. 

Their skin glow black. 
Their eyes were glistening purple. 

" Yummy... " Himchan smirked... 
And, both of them attacked you.
