I didn’t know he’s good at this… if I knew I wouldn’t have said yes to the wager. Oh gosh… please let him miss at least 2 to 3 times… please!!! I don’t want to pay for dinner later…

They were playing bowling and Seunghyun didn’t even showed the slightest of mercy whenever he threw the bowling ball and that was what Jiyong was so worried about, he didn’t expect that he’d be that good. Also having a wager wasn’t much of a great idea since he now sees that it wasn’t just luck that Seunghyun got 3 consecutive strikes in a row.

“Well… another strike there” Hyun turned to Jiyong who was totally in despair. He grinned at the look on his face, “You’re so unfair. Why are you so good at bowling?” he whined and jutted his lips at the inevitable defeat. “I don’t know… maybe it was luck” he didn’t sound convincing though with that confident smile.

“I’ve already considered the first 2 strikes lucky but the third is nowhere near luck, you tricked me didn’t you?” he began to realise but Hyun was in shock with what he said, “Why would you think of something like that? Would I do something like that to you?” he shot back, “Probably, by the way you were offering the bet earlier, it already seemed too suspicious” he remarked.

“Hey now, you agreed to a friendly match and when I added a  wager you didn’t decline and you made a condition yourself” he retorted, “That’s when I thought you were only a regular player and not a pro” he didn’t actually intended to compliment him but Hyun found it nice to hear that from him, “Really? I’m that good?” he mused.

“Are you ing kidding me? How can I possibly win to someone like you?” he frowned, “No worries… I won’t make the bill high so you’d be able to pay it off, that’s the least I could do to someone who finds my play like a pro” he smiled brightly at Jiyong but he didn’t smile back, though inside of him he was smiling along with him.

“He looks good when he smiles… I wonder if it’s real” he asked himself at the way Hyun looked at the moment. “Tell you what Ji, how ‘bout we finish this quickly so we could have dinner” he inquired. “I’d rather end my misery right now… you win no argue with that” he raise his hands up but Hyun didn’t accepted his concede “Oh no… you’re not going to surrender, we’ll finish this off because I don’t want to stop at something I’ve started with” he informed.

Ji looked at him with disbelief, “Aren’t you a bit to cruel to me? You seem like you want to humiliate me or something” he grunted, “It’s not like that but… I do want you at least try you best till the end, what’s there to lose if we’d play at bit longer” he questioned, “My pride” Ji quickly answered. Hyun only giggled but then shrugged it off “Well I’ll add another rule to this game…” he began to think.

“What? That’s not part of the deal we made… we are not going to add up a rule to this…” he was about to get up from his seat and leave but Hyun stopped him “If you leave or don’t cooperate on playing further, you’ll have a consequence…” he trailed off, Ji raised a brow “Seriously… please don’t” he begged, “If you bail out of this game, you have to do what I say. Just a single task but still you must comply without a fuss” he concluded.

“No… I’m not going to agree with this” he firmly said, “You backing out or I’ll make this an official violation of the rule. You’ll have to serve a task that I’ll give and you’d have to comply” he warned but Ji seemed reluctant to answer back. “Come on Ji… let’s just have fun before we eat” he invited. “It’s a good thing your smile is starting to rub on me” he noted.

With a nod, they continued to play. Meanwhile as the two continued to play, both Tae and Dae got to the bowling alley “What the hell are we doing here? Would you think that they’d be here?” Dae asked impatiently since they we’re looking for the two for quite a while, “Of course they’d be here, Seunghyun likes to play bowling at most so he’d surely bring Jiyong here to play” Dae only gave him a glare before looking away.

“Anyways, if you don’t believe me then what the hell are you tagging along with me then?” he was starting to get pissed once again, “Like I’d roam around here like an idiot. Besides, Seunghyun took Jiyong so I don’t have anyone to along with me to have fun here” he folded his arms and then stopped in his tracks and Tae stopped as well.

With a suspicious look in Tae’s face, Dae found it odd “What?” he bluntly asked, “You were hoping to have fun with me?” he teasingly asked and Dae shot him a deathly glare “Don’t you even dare think of something horrid such as that!” he yelled and a few people looked at them but Dae didn’t falter at the stares of the other people.

“Whoa… don’t make a scandal here you idiot” he tried to calm him down “Yah! Who gives you the right to call me an idiot you ing !” he hit Tae at the shoulder with a loud smack, “OW! Cut that out you moron, I don’t want to attract attention from the guests here” he tried to suppress fighting back, “Wow someone like you has dignity huh? that you’re too damned to be having something like that” he scoffed but Tae was really doing his best to resist throwing out a punch.

At that moment while they were raging a war, Seunghyun was currently going for his turn to score while Jiyong watched. Coincidentally he averted his attention and saw both Dae and Taeyang a few feet away, “Oh damn…” he freaked, “What’s wrong?” Hyun heard him when he got back. “C-Can we make this an exemption please? I really think that we should call this off…” he persisted and Hyun couldn’t understand why he was backing out all of a sudden again.

“If Daesung were to see this and somehow would over hear Seunghyun about the wager I’m dead as a cow… I don’t want him teasing me with Seunghyun… damn it… we have to get out of here” he panicked at the thought. “Haven’t we talked about this already? Are you willing to have such consequence?” he asked to see if he’s going to back out.

Honestly, he didn’t want to have a task to tag along with the already burdensome payment he’ll have to do with dinner. Hesitantly he looked at Seunghyun “F-Fine… I’ll agree with the penalty, so… let’s just get going then” he hastily invited, though Hyun found it strange he didn’t made a fuss and went along with it.

As they made their way out of the bowling alley, Ji would steal glances from behind to check if they’d noticed but luckily they weren’t paying heed and only continued to bicker in front of the people. “Good think Dae has short temper” he sighed in relief when they finally got out. “Hope you’re ready for what I plan on making you do” Hyun suddenly informed.

“W-What?” he shockingly questioned, “You told me you’re alright with the whole thing… so don’t give me that dumb look” he snorted, “Y-Yeah… sorry…” he frowned at the thought, “Don’t worry… it wouldn’t be unbearable as what you’re trying to think” he implied.

“Oh… can you wait here for me? I need to go to the restroom” Ji nodded, “You aren’t going too?” Ji shook his head, “Ok, I’ll be in a jiff” he then left Ji at the shoe counter. “Great… I get away from the damn teaser but I get to be punished with having to do what Hyun asks me to do” he leaned at the wall and shot out a breath.

“Oh… it’s nice to ran into you” a voice inquired, immediately Ji looked at the person “Oh… it’s you” he marvelled at the guy yet again, “You play bowling? I figured you’d be a tennis guy though” Seung nicely smiled at Jiyong, “Oh God he looks gorgeous” he told himself. “Actually I am rather… a tennis player, but I’m rusty as an old car” he smiled back at the charming grin Seung was giving.

“Well, maybe if you have to time to play, you’d consider playing either along or against me. If wouldn't mind, I’d like to have you along that’s all” he straightened out, “Well… you’re quite straight forward” he informed him “I just don’t like beating around the bush and all, so I say what I have to so I don’t waste time” he explained, “I guess that’s a good way to see to it” he agreed.

“So why are you alone? Did you run off on your own?” he questioned, “Nah… I got someone along with me and he just went to the restroom to have a little break” Seung nodded “I really hope to have you around, I really wanted to try and have some time alongside you” here he goes again with those words, Ji figured.

As they continued to converse one another, Seunghyun then just got out from the restroom and saw Jiyong talking with a guy, in a instance he felt his blood rush up to his head. “W-Who the hell is that guy? Why’s he talking like that with him? I-Is Jiyong smiling all too brightly at him? What the is going on? I just went to take a piss and this is what happens when I get back?!” obviously he was infuriated at the sight of seeing Jiyong being entertained by someone else.

“Here, I’ll give you my calling card just in case… that you want to play some tennis or just hang out, you’ll be able to get in contact with me right in an instance” he handed out the card but unexpectedly Ji wasn’t the one who grabbed it. They both looked at the hand that took it.

“Baek Seung Jo… executive leader of Radium Gaming Corp. sounds like a kid’s company to me” he deliberately sounded disrespectful and Ji was in awe to witness Hyun acting all y again. “I’m sorry… who are you?” Seung questioned him with refrain on being rude. “Choi Seunghyun, heir of Dynasty hotel and please… don’t hand out calling cards to someone who isn’t interested in them” he frankly said and gave back the card.

Ji was practically mute the moment Hyun started to speak rashly, “Actually I wasn’t planning on giving my card to you, I was about to give it to a friend of mine in which isn’t you” he was being to lose patients with the way Seunghyun was looking at him. “Oh, I doubt it’ll be of any use to even give it to him. He wouldn’t bother on even looking at the number what more could that name would be”

“What in the world is going on? Earlier he’s bright and kind but now… he turned back into the dickhead that I first met” he still stayed silent at the whole commotion, “I don’t think you should mess around in people’s lives. Besides what harm will it do to you?” he asked unaware of the reality between Ji and Hyun. “Nothing much… it’s just that I don’t want someone thinking that Jiyong here is an easy to get kind of guy. You’ll have to go on a narrow path to get through”

Seung was starting to get mad and Jiyong didn’t know what to say and do. It was the first he’d seen Hyun be like that to others, if it were aim at him he’d only resolve with violence to shut him up but being the one who’s hearing him out, he wondered how he was able to fight back against him. “Listen here, I’m just giving Jiyong my number in case he needs to talk to me and~” Hyun intervened “No… you listen and you listen well! I don’t plan on letting him have your number or even let you call him”

Seung chocked out a laugh, “What give you the right to refrain him from it?” he dared to ask and a triumphant look radiated in Hyun’s face. “Nothing much… he just so happened to be my fiancé” that really caught their attention. Jiyong stared intensely at Seunghyun, “He just… introduced me as his fiancé… what in the world happened inside the restroom?” Hyun seriously gave him a look and wrapped his arm around Ji’s shoulder in which made everything clear.

“J-Jiyong… is this true?” he was hoping it wasn’t but to his dismay, Ji nodded slowly. “There… so you better scurry off before I kick your for hitting on my fiancé, and also… don’t ever go near him if you still want your gaming corp. to live, if you don’t I think dad would pull out his investment in your upcoming game. Don’t push your luck alright? Or else I’ll be force to really test your luck” he smiled beamingly at Seung.

Being defeated and threatened at the same time, he felt utterly humiliated and left them. “Let’s go… I’ve suddenly got a craving for some steak” he inquired in a kind tone as if he hadn’t ridiculed a guy just a while ago. As they walked towards the dining area, Hyun’s arm then fell and took Ji hand instead. He was still looking at him with a puzzled look and Hyun seems to have taken heed of it.

“If you have something to say do say so, I won’t avert a question” he spoke out without even looking at Ji. Embarrassed he looked away, “I… was just wondering why you did that?” he shyly asked, “Easy… you’re my fiancé it’s quite natural for me to intervene if you’re at topic” he sternly replied, “Weren’t you a bit too off with that? I mean it’s the first you’ve introduced me to someone else as your fiancé and also, why threaten him so much?”

Hyun stopped and so did Ji, “Listen well alright? I don’t plan on seeing him hovering around you so I became drastic and impulsive, I don’t care if he’d take that into heart but I don’t want a scenario like that. Anyways, I heard he was a playboy and he tends to hit on people he lays his eyes on” he explained.

“Since you’re innocent on dating, he was obviously hitting on you just now and he’s probably planning on getting you into his room so he could have his wicked ways with you and that wouldn’t be a pretty sight wouldn’t it? You’re a right?” he asked right on ahead, “Y-Yah… don’t ask something like that at a place like this” he blushed.

“Uh huh… as I thought so, if that would be the case then you’d surely end up having a sore after getting laid with a player like that. He’d probably won’t go easy on you even if you’d plead that it’s your first” he boldly said, Ji couldn’t answer back at the words he was throwing at him.

“Anyways, I’m here so you won’t get ed by anyone that easily” he showed his pearly whites and winked at him “Come on… I’m starving” he grabbed Ji’s hand yet again and gave a tug, “How could you be so direct to the point about a topic like that?” he meekly said, “You shouldn’t be embarrassed, you’re not a kid anymore. Besides I find it nice that you’ve still maintained that innocence of yours, you look cute” he complimented and it made Ji’s heart tremble.

He smiled widely as they got to the dining area, “Huh? What’s going on?” Ji was baffled, “What do you mean?” he didn’t seem to wonder why they weren’t anyone in the dining hall, it was dim and only candle lit. “Why isn’t there anybody here? And why is it dark… shouldn’t there be lights around?” he looked around the poorly lit room.

“It’s a special occasion so there’s only candle lights to brighten up the place. No need to worry, it’s just slightly dark. Come on” he directed Ji to the table at the opened veranda, “Whoa… what a view” he Ji marvelled. “Dad said that he liked the location because it was showing lots of good views of the island. I had to agree with him the moment the hotel was finished”

After appreciating the whole view he turned and looked at Seunghyun with a suspicious look in his face, “Did you just set up this spot for dinner?” he intimidatingly said but Hyun just smiled back at him “Maybe, possibly, could be, might be… it depends on how you see it” he teased. “So you really knew that I’d lose to you the moment you made that wager” he blurted.

“What can I say, I have a seductive tongue when I give an offer. Aside from that if I’d tell you that I was a league champion at bowling a few years ago, you wouldn’t even think of agreeing at a wager wouldn’t ya?” he chuckled and sat down at the seat. Ji followed but with a grimace in his face “You’re really a horrible guy aren’t ya?” he stated.

“That’s the reason you always have fun right?” he turned his words against him. After a few seconds, Ji couldn’t help but to laugh. “How can I not agree with that” they both laughed about how much they’d fight back then. They talked about the things they liked and what they didn’t like, what makes them happy and what makes them sad, they asked about how their school days were and how their families were doing.

It was marvellous that they just couldn’t stop asking about each other, how they just laugh and gave sympathy to each other whenever they told a story. They practically had touched their food because of the enthusiasm they had in hearing out each other’s story. Nothing mattered at that time, the night was truly for them to have.

“Uh… Seunghyun” he hesitantly said, “Yup?” he noticed that Ji shifted into a shy guy yet again, “Do you still wonder why I didn’t tell you what you look like when we first dated?” he brought out the question. Hyun looked back and found his buried curiosity emerging “Now that you reminded me… yeah, I’m been itching to know” he was all ears.

“Y-You seem too willing to hear it out huh?” he was about to have second thoughts but, “It’s because it was your first impression towards me in that date. I found it valuable” he encouraged him which was quite effective. “That day… you looked perfect” someone as simple like that made Seunghyun’s heart leap.

A moment of silence between them as Hyun continued to let the words sink in inside his head to process. He wondered why he was so delved by being called perfect, why the word made such impact in him. Maybe he liked being considered as one, maybe he liked the way it sounded or maybe he liked the fact that Jiyong sees him as someone perfect. Perhaps, perhaps there’s a drawn feeling at that time to make Ji consider him like that.

“Are you alright?” he broke the silence “I-I’m fine…” he stuttered “I’m fine… I-I just can’t believe that you’d thought of me as something such as perfect... Why may I ask?” he wanted to hear more, “I don’t know, that was just what I felt that time, that what I saw at that very moment. I liked the way you smile, the way you spoke with me without raising your voice all the time, how you laughed and took care of me. It was perfect for someone who really wanted to experience their first date” he couldn’t look Hyun straight in the eyes so he looked down on the meal, he felt like he’d burst into pieces if he’d say that in his face.

“I never knew I could create such view into someone’s sight. Thanks” he said gratefully “F-For what?” Ji peeped a bit, “For telling me… I thought I’d forget it but since you reminded me and told me what I craved to know then, I’m flattered that you told me that” a smile broke free from Ji’s lips and a thrill rushing inside of him. He was thrilled and at the same time, having butterflies in his stomach.

It was a majestic feel for him, something he’d never thought possible. “You hardly touched your food… didn’t you like the meal?” Hyun suddenly asked after a brief while, “Oh… no, it’s not that…” he snapped out of the daze, “Well… speak for yourself that is…” he pointed at Seunghyun’s dinner plate which was still half full “I got carried away with our conversation, is there anything wrong with that?” he defended himself with a grin.

“Actually there is a problem with that… I’m the one who’s paying here for the night and I ain’t liking the fact that you’re wasting my money by not finishing that overly expensive meal” he nag out but still a smile was cracking out. “Oh, my dearest apologies, don’t you worry one bit, I’ll finish this off without fuss” he saluted and munched down on his meal and with that Ji followed.

They ate in a nice and quiet atmosphere, currently with the use of their eyes, they’ve manage to talk out little by little. A connection that had begun to emerge between the both of them. “And I thought that they’d left us…” he Tae sighed and leaned at the wall. “Looks like Seunghyun got a bit sweet and brought Jiyong to dinner on their own” he stated while Dae was smiling from ear to ear to watch his friend have a splendid evening.

“Don’t you feel disgusted with yourself look at a couple like that?” Tae broke Dae’s mood, “Aren’t you disgusted with looking at that face of yours whenever you look at something that reflects back that hideous face of yours?” he retorted in a sarcastic tone. “You still ain’t done with me huh ?” he spoke back. “Just try and piss me off once more and I’ll turn you into a popsicle outside” he threatened.

“Oh… I’m shaking~ AW!” he groaned in pain as Dae kicked his shin, “You’re really asking for a bruising aren’t ya” he growled and shot back a glare but Dae wasn’t backing down.

I feel so wonderful right now… I feel at ease and heavenly like I’m inside my haven. I like this sensation, this thrill that goes on whenever he smiles or looks at me but what exactly happened a while ago? Why did I suddenly had the urge to knock out the teeth of that guy… was I… jealous?

You surprised me this evening… I didn’t expect you holding off someone and also show such aggression, but the way you look seemed like you were a knight in shining armour. You looked dazzling and I must admit that right now, seeing you smile at me like that is a lot more dazzling than acting like a hero.

So what I can only say is sorry… I wasn’t able to finish this quickly since I’ve just recovered from a fever. I had to strengthen myself up both physically and mentally (really… sleepless nights wasn’t an easy thing to overcome). Now that I’m back and stable I’ll be starting off once again : ) I hope you guys didn’t thought that I’d stop at the start of Jiyong and Seunghyun’s love story. XD

I'll be redoing a little fix in this one too just in case I wasn't able to check any errors. :)
