Jay's Notes: HELLOS! :) This story is inspired by Barbara Freethy’s On Shadow Beach (It’s a great book!). You may find some similarity to it but I assure you that only the skeleton of the story that is going to be similar. The rest, it’s mine.
One more thing, I may not be able to update frequently since one, my exams are coming soon and second, my attachment is starting after my exams (Zzzzzz, I know ]: ). I cannot promise something that I cannot fulfil but I will try to stick with this story to the end~ So, meanwhile enjoy the prologue and keep the TOPBOM love going on~ ;)
PS: Pardon my poor English, it's never my strong point. Hope you guys will not get too irritated by my grammar and vocab mistakes... >O<

Foreword
{Prologue}
Something is wrong, I thought as I clenched the part of my baby blue blouse where my heart is. There was this weird twisting feeling that I couldn’t make out the reason why. Ignoring the feeling, I tried to focus. All I know was that I had to get home real fast.
Breaking into a run, I rushed home, only to find it empty without a single soul. “Omma..? Appa…? Park Eun…?” I called out yet there’s no reply. “Bom dear, your parents are out at The Victoria.” I turned and saw my neighbour, Mrs Lee at my doorstep.
“Thank you, Mrs Lee.” I said. “No problem, dear. I’m sorry for the loss,” She added sympathetically, before turning away.
I would have asked her what were my parents doing at The Victoria, where it was rumoured to be haunted and why was she’s sorry for my loss when I did not even lose anything important. Yet again, my priority at the moment was to find my parents.
Again, rushing down to The Victoria, I was surprise to the place crowding with people of all sorts – from passer-by to police officers and tapes were around The Victoria. I walked towards the crowd and this was when I heard it. “Omma, what’s going on?” I called out to my mother whose bawling her eyes out.
“It’s okay to let her in. She’s my daughter,” My Dad said. The police officer nodded and lifted up the tape.
“Don’t scare me, appa. What’s going on? Why is omma crying? Where is Eunnie?” I rambled on, once again, trying to ignore the twisting ache. “She’s gone, baby, she’s gone.” My Dad whispered and once again, tears started spilling. “Who’s gone…?” Before I could get to finish off my sentence, I caught a glimpse of the blood covered body before it was covered by a piece of white cloth.
The truth hits me hard when I started to realise what was going on. My twin sister was dead.
