When the economy fell three years ago, in the country of Pangaea, kids as young as six could legally be evicted from their families and be left to fend for themselves. 

Half of those kids took to running the rails. There could be protection, people and possible food. Rail runners soon became a menace on society and rail hunters would spend their time hunting for the kids. The runners werent criminals of any sort, they were just trying to live and society blamed their economical problems on the runner.  

What society doesn't know is that these rail runners are keeping the railways running. With out the runners the tracks would never be cleared, and the rails are dangerous. Often runners protect downed locomotives from bandits. Runners try to do something for the rails they run, even if they are unwanted. 

The owners of the rails want runners eliminated at any cost and have informed their drivers they at not to stop for runners. If they hit and kill a runner they will get a bonus and no punishment. 

Runners are a family. They help each other. They protect each other. They are making their own society. They arent accepted nor wanted from a society that disowned them. They cant go back, until now. 

 

Runners are banding together in an attempt to take the currant society apart. Six leaders from six different parts of Pangaea are rising up and fight back. They will change their way of life or die trying
