A Downward Spiral, Part III
A Dong Bang Fantasy :)If it was one this that Junsu missed the most, it was flying.
Flying above the lands, looking at the blurs of green and blue below him, flipping on his back and seeing the blue of the skies and even the twilight of the void above that, this was what he really lived for-But there was no time for daydreaming, he had a responsibility to fulfill.
Even though I am in my element, I can't reach out to my people at all....this is really bad. As Junsu got closer to Korea, the first thing that he noticed was the birth of the fire, "Someone in Seoul is on a rampage!!" Indeed, it was as if someone had dropped a bomb-right in the middle of those glass buildings. The destruction radius not only started from the workplaces, but it had spread to the smaller, family owned convenience stores and apartments alike.
Junsu saw someone struggling to get out from an overturned car, and he tried swooping down to save them, but the flames burned to high, and the heat actually pushed him back forcefully, "Argh!!" Junsu turned flips in the air-
Aish, must I do everything myself?
-Junsu couldn't be more happy when he heard Changmin's thought in his head-
A dark swirl appeared, and as Junsu righted himself mid-air, that swirl spread out until it covered the bottom half of the car, and with a pull and the screeching sound of metal upon asphault, the car was flipped over, causing the man to stumble out and run away, screaming as Changmin appeared, "Junsu-have you forgotten that you are the warrior of the SKY?"
Changmin was about to launch into a lengthy and obviously detailed lecture, completely missing the fact that there was a building about to come down on his head-
-and Junsu came down hard, pushing his younger friend out of the way as he puffed up like a blowfish-
-and let loose a gust so great that not only did it blow the building back, but it completely exterminated the flames within a five mile radius of where they were standing. "You were saying.....?" Junsu smiled, and Changmin fought back a smile as he said, "You're despicable."
But there was no time to laugh, as the flames from the other buildings began to build up again, and immediately the two got to work- Junsu took to the sky waved his hands, creating mini tornadoes to put out what he could, and Changmin would reach into the shadows, muting the sparks and saving people when he could; however-
"It's too much, even for me!!!" Junsu landed on the ground to catch his breath as Changmin leaned against a turned over bulldozer, too tired to even flip it back right side up, and even the youngest wondered, "There's gotta be a base to this somewhere-hang on-" Changmin's eyes flashed black as he put a finger to his head and said out loud, "I'm picking up something......these are no ordinary flames-oomph!!"
As soon as he spoke, a fireball came out of nowhere and hit him in the back, causing him to tumble as Junsu shouted, "Changmin!!" The Sky warrior hurried over to help the youngest stand, and Junsu took up a defensive position as more fireballs came raining down on their position, "Take this- and that!!" Junsu threw airballs of his own and dissolved the destructive spheres, as Changmin said slowly, "Junsu....this fire.....this is from the Flames of Hatred."
"And how right you are, warrior from the Void," a shadow appeared from the ground-in fact, more and more shadows appeared from different places, surrounding the young warriors as they formed and took shape in the form of horrid monsters, bending and twisting until they were larger than life, arching overhead as the first shadow continued, "And now that you are alone, I can kill you and be promoted-and I'll take your hearts as my peronal prize!!!Soldiers, attack!!!" Junsu and Changmin began to fight, and fight back bravely, but as they were delpeting their energy the monsters only grew in triumph, and the shadow thought she was going to win at last-
-but then hope appeared in the form of a very angry man, and that man was Yunho of the Mantle.
