'Dear diary,
Its today. The day where i move into a new world- a different school, a different house with 6 step brothers and not to mention a new Father. I really hope everything goes well today...'

I muttered as i wrote it down onto my pink dairy as i sighed, not wanting for all these to happen in my life. I let my eyes wander around my now cleared room. All that was left in the room was just a small table and chair since the boxes which contained my packed belongings were already delivered to my new house. I sighed and looked at my blue wristwatch,

2:28pm. 

I knew that i had to reach the new house by 3pm, and my calculations revelled that by car, it would take at leaf 25 minutes to get there. I got up and went outside into the living, only to be greeted by my happy mother humming a happy tune.

'You ready?' 

I nodded my head slightly. 'Yeah'

My mother replied with a wide smile before turning back to put on her shoes.

I sat down on the all-too-clean floor before grabbing my black sneakers and putting them on.

Rising from my sitting position, I opened to door to leave, not forgetting to take a last look at the house filled with memories from my childhood. Releasing a huge breath, I stepped out of the house with my overly-happy mother following me behind.

Taking the elevator down, we than hauled for a cab. Mr Kim, whom i now call my father, offered us a ride, to which my mother immediately turned down( Why? I wondered ) because she thought she didn't want to trouble him.

Settling into the seat of the cab, I took out my earphones and iPod from my pocket, pressing a few buttons to play my favourite song.

Closing my eyes, I was quickly immersed into the slow song, knowing the lyrics by heart. 

Before i knew it, i was shaken back into reality by my mother, who quickly shoved a few notes into the driver's palm and pushing me out of the door. 

I looked up at the enormous house, my new home. This is the house where I would be staying.

My mother reached for the doorbell immediately without hesitation, letting a happy tune play throughout the whole house. Within seconds, a man in a black suit emerged from the door, a wide smily growing on his face. Greeting my mother with a hug and quick peck on the lips, he than proceeded to turn to me. 

For me, time suddenly froze. My new father. This man, standing in front of me, was my new father. Snapping back into reality, I gave a small smile and bows slightly.

'No, no. Don't be so formal! My pretty little Minhee ah. We're family now, be comfortable!' he all-too-happily said.

Pretty. Little. Minhee.

Did he just call me pretty little Minhee? I mentally threw up.

Family? I nearly wanted to snicker, but kept it to myself. 

I bowed once again, not knowing how to react. 

My mother giggled. 'Don't mind her, she's just being shy'

I couldn't help but to widen my eyes in shock. When did my mother, ever giggle? She wasn't the girly type. This was honestly the first time i've heard her giggle in my entire life ever since my father's death.

'Oh mind my manners! Please come in' My father invited while looking at both of us. 

'As I entered the house, I couldn't help but to be amazed at how shiny everything was. Everything was neatly arranged and had no signs of dust anywhere.

'Boys! They're here! Come down!' my father shouted up the stairs and 5 boys bolted down the stairs in pure excitement, leaving 1 cold, blonde guy to calmly walk down the stairs.

From what I heard from my mother, their mother had abandon them since they were young, so they never really got to see her. And for them to have a mother, it was overwhelming. 

At first, I couldn't help but to freak out at the idea of staying with 6 boys. but after a while, I decided it was fine and i'll get it done with anyways.

'Introduce yourselves!' My father cheerfully instructed.

I looked at them, only to find all of them staring at me, all with excited expressions except 1 of them.
