He looked at himself in the mirror, a man that looked like him stared back at him. The boyishly charms he once had where now replaced by a much manlier face. Dark bags under his eyes, a scruffy face and his hair was buzzed cut; but all he can think about was wether or not his family will recognize him. He had spent four years in the military and he was finally going home. Kim Jongin was going home.
The war lasted for four years many life's where lost and many people forgotten. The south had won, hence why they were letting soldiers go home. Jongin only talked to his family once a month if he was lucky. Suzy never failed to send letters and pictures of her when she was pregnant, when the baby was born, everything Suzy, his mom and child did was documented. Out of all the men in his platoon he revived the most mail, even though he wasn't able to respond to her she kept sending. Sometime he would get letters with her perfume sprayed on the paper or tear marks fell on the letter. It was the longest four years of his life. Jongin got out of the bathroom and went to take a seat. He was to eager that it was making him anxious. The train was going expectantly slow due to the snow. "Calm down." His friend Oh Sehun told him. Jongin simply nodded. Jongin and Sehun where in the same platoon, they also became close because they are the same age.
