“PARK CHORONG!”

It’s Ms Kim.

“Uh-oh” Chorong looked up at Ms Kim. I’m dead. I’m seriously dead.

“I’ve been searching you the whole time! I am so lucky that a friend of yours named Mr. Byun, I suppose, told me that you are here. Need I remind you that you have swimming practice today?”

“No, Ms Kim” Chorong said slowly, head hanging down.

“I’m going to punish you. Tomorrow, after school’s end you will run around the field from 3 pm to 5pm. I don’t care how many laps, just do what I say. And, don’t ever think about escaping from it. I have my eyes on you” Ms Kim said before turned around and walk away.

“Oh my god I’m still alive!” Chorong said happily, as she hugs Kyungsoo.

“I told you! Do not skip your practice. Now you have to run for 2 hours straight!” Kyungsoo frowned at the girl. Meanwhile Chorong just continue munching another piece of cupcake.

“Stop eating, will you? You’ve just got into trouble!” Kyungsoo said as he’s trying to take away the muffin from Chorong.

“Oh come on, Kyung. I’m not an athlete for nothing” Chorong just shrugged. She then continues her mission: eating the final piece of cupcake. Seeing this adorable piece of , Kyungsoo just smiles. Making a mental note that he needs to bake more cakes if he wants Chorong by his side.

THE NEXT DAY.

Location: On a bench under a tree facing the entire field.

Baekhyun let out a long sigh. He’s feeling exhausted and depression for the whole week. The whole week, he keeps busy with school, club practice, vocal class with SM sunbaes and mostly protecting Park Chorong.

His hyungs are giving too much attention to her. Honestly, he felt offended. Didn’t Chorong confessed to me that she liked me? What the hell is she’s doing with other guys? Is this jealousy?

1) Firstly, Lu Han hyung. Yup, he knows that Lu Han obviously liked Chorong before he could knows her name. But hey, didn’t Chorong said she liked me?

FLASHBACK

Baekhyun was hiding behind a tower of buoys. He’s doing his job: following and watching over Chorong to her swimming practice. He found himself smiling at Chorong whom freely swimming in the pool. Suddenly,

“I didn’t know you swim” He heard someone’s familiar, a person’s voice. He looked up at the person. It’s Lu Han hyung.

He just stood there, doing nothing except observing their actions and eavesdrop their conversation. He didn’t like the idea that Lu Han was also there, in fact, Lu Han can obviously stood infront of Chorong whenever he wanted to see her. But Baekhyun? Damn I need to hide behind a tower of buoys, secretly following her around the school if I want to see her face.

“You know you’re beautiful, right?” Lu Han said innocently, have no idea what he’s saying. Chorong shocked at first, but she smiles unknowingly. WHAT THE HECK IS HE’S TALKING ABOUT?! I mean she is beautiful, does he relly needs to point that? And Chorong, stop smiling at him! You didn’t show me that kind of face! Baekhyun silently curse at Lu Han.

“You know you’re not that manly right?” Chorong said to Lu Han. Yup, Choronggie. That’s right. I agreed on you. Baekhyun nods. He silently prayed that Chorong will not reply something like ‘You know you’re handsome or cute or pretty or whatever’

Baekhyun then silently listened to their next conversation. Uh-oh. How did she knew about Kris’s painting? Yes, Lu Han hyung, you and Sehun did a great job on hiding his oh-so-called masterpiece. Masterpiece my , Kris hyung.

“You and Kris… Are you that close?” Lu Han asked with a hint of jealousy. What is that, hyung?

“N-no! We’re just happened to-” Before she could finish her sentence, Lu Han cut her.

“Don’t be so close with him. I’m jealous” Lu Han said straightly, making clear that he is jealous. WHAT THE TUT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? Yup I know the feeling hyung, I, myself are jealous seeing you guys having this kind of jeolusy-conversation.

Carefully, Lu Han took out his thumb and softly wiping off the water on Chorong’s cheeks. Slowly, his thumb moves naturally down to her lips, brushing the corner of her lips. Chorong feel her cheeks tinge, as red as tomato.

They lock their eyes, and Lu Han slowly moves closer, decreasing the gap between them. Uh-oh. This is not good. Baekhyun said as he panicked, didn’t know what should he do.

Chorong knows what will happen next, so she shut her eyes. Lu Han on the other hand, just smile at her cute action. NOOOOO!!!!!!! Baekhyun screams in his head.

When their lips almost touch, Baekhyun pushed the tower of buoy before hiding himself behind the seats. The buoy falls in results surprising both of them. Both feel awkward, didn’t have an idea what’s going on just now. And Lu Han left. Pheww I thought I’m going crazy. No way Lu hyung. You can’t taste those lips. They’re mine.

2) Next, Suho hyung or Joonpa whatever it is. Baekhyun knows he was Chorong’s guardian angel. Was is the keyword babe. Does he really needs to protect her even when she’s married? (With me, if she wants) Joonpa? Seriously, hyung?

FLASHBACK

It’s Thursday. Baekhyun’s never went to the library before. If anyone saw this, it will be the end of his life. The reason why he’s in the library? Simple, it’s because of a certain girl who made Baekhyun’s heart badump badump. Didn’t she have to go to swimming practice today? Why on Earth she went to this library?

Baekhyun saw Chorong sit on an empty table, with pile of books covering her. Ah, she’s doing her homework.

Baekhyun sit comfortably on the table behind Chorong’s. He uses a book to cover his face. He keeps poking behind the book to look over Chorong. He couldn’t help but smiles upon seeing how Chorong frowning while doing her homework. How cute.

Later on, Chorong slowly put her head on the table. She didn’t move for minutes which Baekhyun squealing at the sight. She’s asleep? Seriously? Aw why so cute?!

While Baekhyun enjoying the sight in front him, suddenly uninvited person join the occasion. Suho hyung?!

Suho carefully pull the chair in front of Chorong to sit. He moves the ‘useless’ pile of books aside so he can see a better view of his angel. He’s sitting there for 15 minutes, doing nothing besides watching Chorong sleeps and smile to himself. Wow hyung! What’s with that smile, huh?!

Suddenly, Chorong’s hand phone vibrates on the table, telling the owner that she has a new text message. Suho, being a ‘good’ busybody, open the new text. YOU READ HER TEXT? Seriously hyung? I can report for you crime!

For the next whole time, Baekhyun once again is being an observer. He sits there while trying to calm his mind. Just now, he feels like flying on the cloud9, but now he feels like he’s buried under the Great Wall of China. He’s preparing plans, who knows that they will get more intimate. Displeasure is written all over his face.

Alright, he’s teaching her Maths. I think nothing’s wrong though. Although I hate Suho hyung. I think Suho hyung will not going to kiss or do anything to her, right? Suho hyung is not that kind of person, right?

But, his conjecture missed. The time feels like stopped when Suho close his eyes, moving closer and closer to Chorong’s lips. Suho’s right hand is holding her hand and Suho’s left hand is placed on her neck. Isn’t this too mainstream? I mean he’s going to kiss her next right? No hyung! Pleaseeeee!!

When the space is close enough and Suho’s lips are just about to taste her lips, Bekhyun froze, he didn’t know what to do. Suddenly, a loud thud can be heard at the corner of library. They, including Baekhyun startled for a moment before shifting their gaze to the corner, a boy accidentally dropped a pile of books from the shelf. Baekhyun looks closely at the boy.

It’s Lu Han.

Amazingly, Lu Han smirks when Baekhyun’s staring at him. Baekhyun get up, before formed a weak smile to Lu Han before leave the library. Suddenly, he got a text.

From: Lu hyung

You are going to thanks me later, dongsaeng-ah. I knew it was you at the pool ;)

Baekhyun startled for a moment. Should I get panic or what?

To: Lu hyung

You’re not mad at me?

Baekhyun stares at the cell phone before it vibrates again. He opens the text and smirk before make his way to his dorm.

From: Lu hyung

Why should I? And I think it’s about time we should fight as a men. Win her heart. Good luck dongsaeng-ah ;)

3) The troll Chen. Chen never show us his genuine side. All he did was trolling us with his ‘best pranks idea’.

Honestly, he’s a bit worried when he knew that Chen accompany Chorong to the supermarket. What if Chorong get trolled by him or Chen’s doing something wrong to her? He wanted to follow them, but Chanyeol refrain him from doing so. He said Chen is not going to do anything to her. He slowly agreed, trying his best to calm down.

Later on, he found out that Chorong bought Chen a same beanie as her. More like ‘couple’ beanie, because Chen’s beanie was black meanwhile Chorong is grey. Baekhyun couldn’t help but crying for hours. Chanyeol, being a good dongsaeng trying his best to persuaded him.

In results, Chanyeol spent his money buying him a beanie, which has the same design as Chen, but in blue colour. Chanyeol also bought him SNSD new album and let him overlap his Sandara’s posters with Taeyeon’s big posters. I’m going to take it off when he’s asleep, Chanyeol thought.

4) Lastly, the cute dongsaeng of his, Do Kyungsoo. Yup, he’s the one whom told Ms Kim about it. Because he couldn’t take any risk if he saw Kyungoo doing something to her. Although Kyungsoo seems like not a ert guy, but everything is possible with Park Chorong. He felt sorry to Chorong, she has to run for 2 hours straight. At least for the 2 hours, he could prevent her from the boys. Such a selfish, yes he is.

(Back to present)

Now, he’s waiting on a bench and waiting for Chorong to come and complete her punishment. Suddenly, his eyes twinkling with sparkle as he sees Chorong starting to warm-up. But with someone. Some other guy. Baekhyun’s smiles fading, eyes full with angry. He looks closely, it’s-
