"From today onwards, all you students will be paired up with a fairy."

Gasps and excited chatter ensues. The humans and fairies usually keep clear of each other, so it shocked everyone when the teacher, Kim Young Woon (better known as Kang In among the students), announced the news.

"The purpose of this is to prepare you for your reflex and adaptation examination. I know a lot of---YAH!!! LISTEN TO ME WHEN I AM TALKING, DAMN IT!" The teacher roared and the class's chatter died down. He coughed and repeated what he said, continuing on with, "I know a lot of you wants to work with fairies in the future, so this would be useful in helping you achieve your dreams. For this exam, you will be assisting and working with the fairies so they can improve their flying skills and pass their End of Year Flight Examination. You will be stuck with your fairy partner for two months and no matter what, you will not be reassigned. All students from the Human and Fairy Division is of equal numbers, so one rearrangement will cause chaos."

"Kang In-ssi, is it true that there is only one male fairy in the whole of the Fairy Division?" A female student raised up her hand in curiosity. The teacher seemed unaffected by the informal nickname and replied, "Yes, that's true, and it is not sure who he will be paired up with. Since there are more female fairies, I doubt that you'll be paired up with the only male fairy." KangIn joked and some girls groaned in disappointment.

"Now, now. Let's not get too excited nor depressed. I want ALL of you lazyasses to check the papers on the notice board after school, okay? Your partner's name will be stated there. That's all for today, and---I SAID LISTEN TO ME WHEN I'M TALKING!" KangIn sighed and decided to exit the room quietly, as usual. "Ignorant apes." He mumbled under his breath.

A guy with orange-coloured hair stood up to zip his backpack close. He slung the bag over his shoulder and did not once broke eye contact with his classmate who was chatting with him. He followed his classmate out of the class and as soon as they separated, another friend came over to talk to him.

He was Lee Dong Hae, the Human Division's most outgoing boy present. "Hey bro!" A handsome guy placed an arm around his shoulder. DongHae smiled at him and they talked about the news of mixing with the fairies. Once he left, a nerdy looking boy approached him and asked him what he is planning to do for his upcoming maths project. The type of friends DongHae makes are all different. The only type he couldn't get along with are the teachers.

This proved to be true when he arrived late for class. Again. "LEE DONG HAE! GET OUT!"

Whimpering, DongHae walked over to the large notice board.
"Hey! Guess what, you're paired up with that rumored male fairy!" A guy with milky skin told him when he neared the crowd around the board. DongHae gave a surprised expression, and explained that he was pleasantly surprised when some of his other friends laughed at his luck.

Checking the paper just to be sure, DongHae nodded as he took note of who his partner for two months would be.

E.O.Y REFLEX AND ADAPTATION EXAMINATION: PARTNER LIST

The End of Year Reflex and Adaptation Examination for Sophomores will take place in the Examination Hall, on 15th October 20XX, at XX:XX am. Make sure you arrive 15 minutes earlier for preparation and attendance purposes. This year, all students will be paired up with a random fairy from the Fairy Division to prepare for the stated examination. Refer to the list of pairings below:

"Lee Hyuk Jae." DongHae announced to his family proudly over dinner. DongHae's older brother laughed, saying: "Too bad you won't be getting a Fairy-girlfriend!" which earned glares from his parents. "Don't you dare taint our baby!" Their overprotective mother cooed, making DongHae whine and his older brother scoff.

That night, DongHae slept, dreaming about his two-months with a fairy.
