"From today onwards, all you fairies will be paired up with a human."

Some groans and gasps could be heard throughout the classroom. Some were gasps of disgust, some of surprise while others groaned because it was going to be tiring, trying to work with the humans from the human division, as fairies and humans keep clear of each other most of the time.

"This is to prepare you for your end-of-year flight examination. In conclusion, you will have two months to work on your flying skills with humans." The teacher, Mr. Park Jung Soo, continued. A female fairy raised up her hand. When the teacher acknowledged her, she asked: "Why can't we prepare for our examinations with fairy partners?" She glanced at the only male in class, and the teacher sighed.

You see, in this two-sided school, the fairy division contained only one male fairy. That fairy's name is Lee HyukJae, better known by his nickname, EunHyuk. He is the most popular student in the fairy division, as not only is he attractive and talented, but he is also from one of the most powerful fairy families in the world. Besides, he is the only male fairy, and since the humans and fairies keep to their own division, where else would the female fairies' attention go to?

The only reason why EunHyuk is the only male student in the entire fairy division is due to the fact that most male fairies from the royal fairy families prefer to attend a certain all-boys' school. When a male fairy attends a co-ed school, that fairy is likely to be coined a coward as he is 'unable' to withstand the more masculine activities provided by the all-boys' school. However, EunHyuk was smart enough to know that the world contains both females and males, so he begged his kind parents to enroll him into a mixed school. At first, he was treated by outsiders as a disgrace to his family, but after he became the top student in the fairy division, the rumors decreased and EunHyuk was, in a sense, worshipped.

Continuing on, the teacher decided to be brutally honest as he answered coldly, "If fairies were to be paired up with each other, then the female fairy who gets paired with HyukJae would get bullied. This has happened during the preparations for the previous examinations, as you all know, so this year, the school board decided to change the rules." The noisy class became silent as they knew it was the truth. None of them would be happy seeing some lucky girl work together with their idol, EunHyuk, and if a human was paired up with him instead, none of the female fairies would dare make a move, as none of them has any first-hand experience with humans. 

"The list of your partner's name will be pasted on the notice board, so have a look after school. That's the end of the announcement. You may head to your next class." Screeches made by chairs and noisy gossips filled the room once more as everyone evacuated the classroom. EunHyuk sighed to himself as he stood up quietly. In addition to those annoying girls, now I have to deal with humans. I remember the human division is made up of both females and males. Maybe I'll get lucky and get a male partner. Afterall, other than the fairy instructors and my father, I have no connections with males at all. I do hope I get a male partner. Please make my life interesting, God.

That following afternoon, the bell rang and fairies surrounded the notice board. Most of them were there just because they wanted to know who EunHyuk's partner would be, but some still bothered to pretend that they were there to check who their own partner was. EunHyuk ignored the admiring looks from the other fairies and read the notice paper;

The End of Year Flight Examination for Sophomores will take place in the Examination Hall, on 15th October 20XX, at XX:XX am. Make sure you arrive 15 minutes earlier for preparation and attendance purposes. This year, all fairies will be paired up with a random student from the Human Division to prepare for the stated examination. Refer to the list of pairings below:

EunHyuk could feel his sapphire blue wings twitching under his uniform. 
It's a male, it's a MALE! EunHyuk squealed internally and resisted the urge to hop into the car that was waiting for him in the school's parking lot. That night, EunHyuk's whole family celebrated the news of EunHyuk getting a soon-to-be-male-friend and EunHyuk thinks, this is perhaps the most exciting day in his whole life.
