Kyungri's POV

I was sitting on the steps of the house I grew up in. The door was locked and I knew where the extra key was hid but I didn't feel like going inside with no one else here. Since I didn't know how long it would be before anyone showed up I decided to call Sera to let her know I made it.

*Flashback: five days ago*

The weekend was over and Kyungri was going to work. While she was working she looked at the calendar on the wall in the break room. She realized that in five days it would be her younger brothers birthday and he would be an adult. All day she thought about whether she should go visit her family or not. She really wants her brother to leave that place and since he will be old enough to make his own desicions Kyungri is hoping to convince him to leave or at least get outside of that town and see something new and to know what its like being in the actual real world for a few days. 

While at work the next day Kyungri asked her boss if she could have a whole day off and her boss agreed. Now she would have the entire weekend to visit her family. After work she called Sera to ask if she could borrow one of Sera's cars and explained the situation. 

Sera wanted to go as well since she knew Kyungri and her older brother weren't on good terms but Kyungri thought it would only cause more drama but Kyungri promise to call Sera after she got there. It took some convincing but Sera finally agreed to let Kyungri borrow a car to go see her family.

*End of flashback*

About 30 minutes went by and a car I've been waiting to see pull up does. Steping out of the drivers side was my mom, I rush to her, "Is it really you?" she asked and I could help but laugh and hug her, "Yes it's really me" she hugs me tighter, "I've missed you so much" she said almost making me cry, "I've missed you too."

We quit hugging and my mom asked me to help her get the groceries out of the car and I did.

"You know the extra key is still hid in the same place" my mom said unlocking the front door, "I know I just wanted to wait outside" I said as she opens the door.

Everything was the same except I noticed some toys in the corner of the room but didn't say anything.

"Do you remember where to put the food?" my mom asked when we got into the kitchen, I smile at her, "Yeah mom I remember and you know I didn't get memory loss while I was gone you know" "Alright dear" she laughs.

After putting everything away I went to sit with my mom in the living room and we started talking. I told her about some of the places I went and what I did. I told her I was now living in Seoul and that it was going to be my permanent stay but I didn't mention my imprint with Sera just that I became good friends with the only other full blooded wolves in the area.

All of a sudden the house phone rings and my mom gets up to answer it, "Yeah yeah, ok see you soon" she said then hangs up, "That was your brother Leo, he said he'll be here shortly." I couldn't help but smile, "Does he still have long hair?" I asked, "Nope he has had it short for over a year now." 

"Wow really" I was very surprised hearing that, "Now I really want to see him" I stated making my mom laugh, "Would you like to go pick up Leo's cake down at the bakery? By the time you get back he should be here." 

"Ok" I said getting up, "You're talking about the same one right?" 

"Yes dear nothing has changed" she said smiling, "Hey you never know a lot of things can change in two years" I said before giving her a hug, "You're right about that" she replied then I gave her a kiss on the cheek before leaving.

When I returned there was a car in the driveway I've never seen so I assumed it was my brothers. I got the cake out carrying it in a plastic bag to the house. I get inside the house and I seen my mom sitting on the couch watching a baby playing on the floor, I looked at her confused, "Go put the cake in the kitchen first" she said and I did as I was told. So that's why there were toys here.

In the kitchen there was a girl that was probably my age or a little younger putting a lid onto a baby cup, I put the cake on the table. The girl looks at me with a surprised face, "Hello I'm Kyungri" the girl bows, "Hello I'm Heo Gayoon, nice to meet you" she said, "You're Leo's sister right, I've seen pictures of you around the house, he didn't mention you would be returing." 

"Actually I came as a surprise, I just arrived about an hour ago and my mom said to go get Leo's cake."

"I'm sure he'll be surprised alright" Gayoon replied, "How do you know my brother?" I asked, "I'm his girlfriend" she stated. 

Before I could reply I heard, "Kyungri" I turn around and there was my brother, "You look way better with short hair" I said smiling.

He smiles and comes over to hug me picking me off the floor, "I can't believe that you're here" he said, "Happy birthday" I said once he put me back down, "Thank you."

"I'll leave you two alone" Gayoon said smiling before leaving the kitchen. 

"How did you get a pretty girl like that?" I teased, "Well you know" trying to be all cocky and I playfully hit him, "Whatever, oh hey I got your cake" I point to the plastic bag on the table, "It taste really good" I said even though I didn't really taste it.

"Yah!" he yells taking the cake out of the bag to examine it, "Just kidding" I start laughing, "You " he said and I pinch his arm making him shriek, "That's what you get little " I said then run out the kitchen even though I know he's right behind me.

"Hey!" he yells before grabbing a piece of my shirt stopping me behind the couch, "Who are you calling a ?" he got me in a headlock.

"Kyungri, Leo stop before you break something" our mom tells us but we continue fighting. 

We went from fighting to Leo my forehead causing me to give up on our match, "You're so nasty" I said getting off the floor, "I still won" he said smirking, "Babe that is still gross you know" Gayoon spoke up, "See" I said hitting his head before quickly moving to sit by our mom.

"Both of you still act like you're ten" my mom said, "I don't" I pout, "I don't either" Leo grumbled going to sit by his girlfriend on the other couch. The baby girl that was playing around on the floor from earlier walks over to my brother and he picks her up sitting her in his lap. I look between the baby and Leo, "Are you going to be leaving tonight?" my mom asked as I was focused on my brother and the baby, "I was planning to stay the weekend if that's ok with you?"

"Of course it is" she replied, "We can drink together" my brother said smiling, "Lets go buy some beer then" I said cheerfully. His face lights up, "Lets go" he said passing the baby to Gayoon, "Is it ok?" he asked his girlfriend before getting up, "Yeah" she nods her head smiling.

"We'll be back" I said kissing my moms head, "I love you" Leo said to Gayoon before kissing her and did the same to the baby.

Driving to the store I decided to ask my brother what I've been waiting to ask since I seen that baby.

"So is that baby yours?" 

There was silence for a moment, "Yes" he finally answered and all I do is sigh. 

Since neither of them were wearing rings I know this wasn't a planned pregancy nor is he married which is good but also bad cause he actually has reason to stay in this town if he wants.

"Are you mad?" he ask, "No I'm not just some what disappointed, your life is just starting and you already have a kid" "I know I messed up and probably won't ever leave this place but I wouldn't change anything, Sohyun is my world."

"Her name is Sohyun" "Yeah" "Wait so you wanted to leave this place?" "After I graduated I planned on leaving like you but I found out Gayoon was pregnant, I tried to get her to leave but she doesn't want to because of her family and then what happened with Hongbin, I really couldn't leave knowing mom would be alone" he explained.

"What happened to Hongbin?"

"Mom didn't tell you?"

"No" I shake my head and hear Leo sigh, "Hongbin died about 8 months ago" he told me as I pull us into the parking lot of the store. 

At that moment I honestly didn't know how I should feel. My older brother the one who made me choose between leaving my pack or marrying someone I didn't love is now dead. But if I didn't choose to leave I would not have found Sera. I turn the car off and we both get out, "How did mom handle it?" I asked as we walked into the store, "She was depressed the about the first month but slowly got back to how she is now."

"I'm sorry we had to talk about this on your birthday" I apologized and Leo shrugged his shoulders, "Its ok you were going to know sooner or later."

Is it bad I'm not upset? I also don't feel happy either.

"Now that I know lets talk about something else, like what kind of beer do you want?"

"You take the beer in I need to get my bag out" I told Leo when we arrived back to my mom's house. I got my back and followed Leo inside. 

"Is my room still my room or is it my niece's room now?" 

"I'd say it's about half and half just go see for yourself" he replied. 

"Alright" I take my bag up the stairs to my room. The door was open so I peep inside, my dresser and desk were missing but my bed was still there. Where my dresser use to be, a baby bed was now in its place. The colors of the walls were now a light pink color and there were some more baby toys laying around. I place my bag on the bed then go back down stairs.

My mom wasn't around but Leo and Gayoon were watching Sohyun play on the floor.

"How old is she?" I asked crouching infront of Sohyun, "One" Leo said. She looks up at me, "Hello Sohyun" I said cutely making her smile, "I'm so sorry you look like your daddy" I say pinching her chubby cheeks, "What's that suppose to mean?" Leo whines and Gayoon laughs, "It means hopefully she'll look pretty like her mom soon" I tease.

Later that night I got Leo really drunk causing him to past out on the living room floor and I couldn't move him by myself so I left him laying on the floor sleeping on his stomach while I went up to my old room. I quietly changed clothes because Sohyun was sleeping in her baby bed then I got into my own bed. 

This was the longest ch. I've ever wrote for this story haha.

Seems like a lot has happened since Kyungri left. xD Also I plan on having Sera's pov as well while kyungri is away. I know this ch. kinda came out of nowhere but everything is happening for a reason xD hehe.

For future reference I want to know should Hyemi stay the single or should she find someone? If so should it be a girl or guy, and who? ^^
