Black hole of Vulnerability
Description
Onew was only 15 when he witnessed his father kill his mother.
He's been stuck in this mental hospital for 6 years already.
Taemin was only 14 when his brother killed his father.
Taemin is now 17.
And his father keeps visiting him.
Can 2 sick, lonely people find the time and strength to trust again?
Foreword
When Onew first arrived in this facility:
Dr Sung: If you could describe depression? How would you describe it?
Onew: I guess you could say it's like a black hole. Black holes don't let anything escape. Not even light. And when you're exposed to a black hole, or something like it... you get vunerable. And once you're in that black hole, where it's dark and filled with almost nothing.. you just can't escape.
When Taemin first arrived in this facility:
Dr Sung: What's depression to you, Taemin?
Taemin: Explicit numbness in the heart? I don't know. I'll just say it's like a black hole. In simpler terms.
Dr Sung: Why does it have to be simple? Isn't depression complicated?
Taemin: Well, yeah, but I don't know. I dont wanna think about that.
Dr Sung: Okay, continue.
Taemin: You're just in another dimension. Transported in a place where everyone is so happy, but you're so... not. Black holes, in my childish mind make me think of dimensions and portals. So, that's why.
