There is always a thin wall separating everything

"It won't be life if it was too predictable"

-Kim Jongin

Kim Minseok, a name that excites the world of arts with his paintings laid down his brush and took his viola once again. Kim Minseok, the man who disappeared in the world of music leaving only the memories of his angelic notes to those who heard it, returned like a comet and blew the world once again. Kim Minseok, the genius who had it all. Luhan cannot fathom how deep a scar does that certain genius the world was worshipping have, how broken he really was, and how he suffered and endured it all. His strength was his reflection, a shadow opposite to him, the twin he loved, the one whom Luhan took away. Despite being poor, Luhan had never once thought that life was hard because he had satisfaction and he was in bliss with Xiumin's love. There were hardships on his path but for him it was the norm, a trial that would pass on. But, he was wrong. The strengthening hold of guilt inside his heart slowly and painfully kills him. It was his fault Xiumin died, his fault Minseok lost his color, his fault that a lot were suffering from Minseok's depression, his fault that Sehun's dream was broken, and it was his fault that he fell in love. It was never his intention to fall, never his will to be ensnared, but he fell into fate's trap. And he felt dirty. It was like he was betraying Xiumin's love and Minseok's trust. How did it all came to this? The world fell down on him.

"Hyung" Jongin's voice pulled him back to the reality. The soft melody of the piano playing reverbrated deep inside his soul calling a certain emotion awake. Love. It was supposed to be sweet and lovely. A word that sends soft electricities down his body. It works that way. Worked. Now, the work made him feel self loathe. Minseok was fragile but he was struggling to be strong which was unlike the way he gave up on everything. Why did it have to be this cruel? "HYUNG" the loud call put an end to his trail of thoughts and to the music playing inside the room. Minseok's notes came to a halt.

"Ahh, y-yes?" Luhan can feel worried gazes on his body. He became more sensitive to the surroundings now that darkness became his companion. He can now guess who is who by the way they walk. The sound and rhythm of their steps made it possible for him to identify his company.

"Are you okay?" Minseok's worried voice echoed inside his head and another series of self-degradation sparked inside his head. The twins are way to enchanting. He feels utterly disgusted with himself. He nodded softly offering his usual fake smile. A mask he built to continue his act. You love him. The whispers of his conscience became his nightmare. The truth that he was trying to deny became clearer. You are betraying Xiumin. He love Xiumin. He did. He is. Then why are you in love with the other twin. His throat felt dry. There was not an answer even inside his head. Why? Because he was weak No. Minseok was stronger than he is. Because he is Xiumin's twin. No. He never sees Xiumin in Minseok. Because it was fate. I refuse that fate. "Are you really fine?" Minseok has became gentler against him. He had lost his reason to act like he hated Luhan and that was killing Luhan. It would have been better for the singer if the artist-turned-viola player bared his hatred against him openly like before that way he would have a reason to hide it. The nasty feelings of love growing inside him.  He nodded once again.

"I'm fine, Minseok-ssi" Was I someone easy to fall in love with another?

"Hyung, its almost time for your lessons" Jongin stated. Luhan bobbed his head up and down gently before he bid a soft goodbye to Minseok. Jongin guided Luhan outside the room after Minseok bids his farewell "See you later, Lu Han"

"Since when, hyung?" The cold chilly breeze brushed Luhan's skin mildly making him shiver softly. The roaring sounds of engines pacing back and forth on the steets of Korea faded into a background noises as it became unimportant with the sudden inquiry from his only family. Jongin dutifully wrapped him with a scarf to provide comfortable heat for his blind hyung.

"Since when with what?" Lu Han knew that Jongin noticed. They've been living together almost half their lives gifting them with abilities to read each other like an open book. Jongin warmed his hands with the hot can of coffee before he stared to the blank eyes of his cousin.

"When did you fell in love with Min-hyung?" The dancer quietly took his seat beside the blind hyung as he stared at the passing cars on the streets. The bench on the bus stop offered them enough shelter for the moment. The chatters of the crowd became a sea of noise as he waited patiently for the older to answer. Jongin knew that Lu Han was suffering. He wasn't really that acquainted with Kim Xiumin before since they met only once or twice but he knew how his bubbly elder cousin became lovestruck with the violinist. He knew how he spazzes inside when they would have their little talk before. It was that kind of cute love. Maybe if he was not observant at all, he would not know Luhan dilemma. It's ironic how that cute love for Xiumin was equalled with this kind of serious love for Minseok.

"I don't know. It seems like it was there, like it was natural" The charms of the night has never once enchanted Jongin before, but, now the red lights left by the passing cars, the neon signs, the buzzing sounds of busy passerbys seems to be breathtaking for him. There was a strong need to let out the heavy kind of air inside his lungs.

"What are you going to do, hyung?" There was no answer and Jongin didn't wait for one. He knew that Lu Han don't have it. The Answer. He knew because even if he was in that situation he wouldn't have it too.

Luhan knew he was tricked. That the principal he was supposed to meet was in fact Xiumin and Minseok's father, Kim Kibum. The man crowned as the Korean business emperor. He sat quietly waiting for the prominent man to break the silence and it has been an hour. Neither of them was willing to start the conversation. Luhan heard alot about the man from Xiumin. That he was a really loving and doting father on the twins and is often misunderstood because of his awkwardness on expressing himself. The older twin once said that his brother was an exact replica of his father in terms of personality while he took from his mother.

"Lu Han-ssi, correct?"

"Yes, sir" Did he came to blame me for Xiumin's passing? Luhan clenched the hand rest of the sofa as he readied for any cruel words thrown his way because he deserved it. He was hoping for that kind of treatment. He wishes to atleast take some of the pains he caused and placed it inside him.

"How was Minseok?" The question came as a surprised. Never had he expected for the father to show his weak side in front of him. The cold calculating perfection unmasked in front of him. There was worry, guilt, pain and unvoiced love at the trembling tone.

"He is doing fine, sir" Again silence.

"Thank you" Luhan flinched. He didn't dream for the words that came out. Tears spilled from his blinded eyes shocking the adult and putting him into a silet panic. "Did I say anything wrong, Luhan-ssi?"

"No, sir. It's just that I don't deserve your thanks" If Luhan had his vision, he would have seen that warm rare smile of the father of his beloved's face. A smile that even the most prominent person in the country would pay a million just to see.

"Xiumin was like Minseok before. He avoided me for being not there when my wife passed away. He loathed himself for being my son. But then, a month before he was into that accident he came into my office with a smile. He said sorry for the years that he was stubborn and sorry for not being strong to face the truth. He was also sorry that he pushed the blame on me. And I said that none of them was worth apologizing for because those were the truths but then he shook his head gently and he said  'I discovered that living with hate is only hurting yourself so I decided to just love everything around me because its easier to love than to hate'. He said it was because he met you that he was able to love from the bottom of his heart" Kibum eyed the young lad whose face was strained with the traces of grief. Why did fate gave him this trial? Why was fate cruel to him? "And also, thank you for breaking Minseok's defenses and giving him reason to live" Something that he was not able to provide because he was a weak fool.

"But it was not I --"

"It was your music that weakened his walls, Luhan-ssi. I'm a businessman so I am not acquainted with how it goes but the twins took from their mother's passion for art and music and it was their world. It was something that was like air for them. So I thank you for giving birth to the music that opened Minseok's heart and I ask of you continue to do so"

"But I am--"

"Please, Luhan-ssi" Luhan felt the pure love Kim Kibum have for his now only child. The strength of that unconditional love that grows stronger even if it was returned by hate made Luhan unable to refuse. He didn't know why but he was afraid right now. Maybe he was afraid that he would fall deeper or maybe because he was afraid of the pressure. Pressure from what?  He don't know. It came all natural to him that the next task that he must dedicate himself is to make both the father and the son happy and that would mean reconciling them. But what can he do? When he is afraid of the both of them?
