There had been a time where they had decided to burn him.  Yixing had stood lifelessly in the middle of the sealed room, both of his feet cuffed so that he could not escape.  Then the whole room had suddenly alight with flames.  He had screamed in pain and collapsed to the ground and laid there in a fetal position. 

Not that it made it any better.  Because of the speed the flames that were spreading through his body, the healing process had been almost instantaneous.  It was a torturous cycle of being broken down and being put back together again. 

Yixing had tried his best to refocus his attention elsewhere.  He tried to imagine his old house, his old life with his family, anything except for the fact he was being burnt alive.  But the faces of his parents had already become blurry at the time.  He could not picture their expressions clearly anymore and only the vague outline of their images remained in his brain.  He had wondered sadly if they still remember him.

He had been knocked unconscious and strangely woke up to someone brushing his hair out of his face.  Yixing jolted up and saw his usually unsociable cellmate staring back at him.
