He couldn't explain it. It was a weird feeling indeed, but here he was. With the only girl who had been able to infiltrate his mind in a long time.   Fate really did have a weird way of working. Wasn't he just hoping she had dance so that his partner could be her just a few hours before? And now it turns out that she did and that she was.   He didn't even know they went to the same school, yet here they were in this situation. After having lunch at the cafe and getting know one another for nearly two hours, the both of them headed back to the studio on campus.   Yongguk almost couldn't keep his eyes off of her, stealing glances as he watched the short yellow sundress hug her body, accentuating her full s and flat stomach, and falling loosely at the skirt, just above her knees, revealing her thick and nicely toned legs. Being the cool girl he had expected her to be, she paired the dress up with a pair of white hi-top converses.   He was mesmerized by the color of her copper-tone skin and the way her dark locks fell loosely below her shoulders. She was the kind of girl any guy would easily swoon for. The epitome of cute, y and beautiful. She was short and that made up her cute aspect. The shape of her body and her curves made up her y. And her face and personality, the beautiful.   On the walk back toward campus, Min was very vocal about her thoughts and ideas regarding the music for her performance, but she emphasized that she trusted Yongguk's judgment and creativity. To be honest, he was already feeding off the ideas she gave him. He found a muse in her that he never expected to find.   By the time they got to the studio he already had so many things he wanted to run by her.   One thing he easily learned about Min was her down-to-earth, honest and straightforward personality. Upon talking more he also learned that she was very opinionated but open minded. Was this the same girl everyone was talking about in class? The princess? Was this the reason why everyone was so smitten?   Now he understood. And at the realization he had already caught himself falling hard for the girl who already had everyone falling on their knees for her. How would he be able to stand out?   "So what are the odds we would be partners?" Min began as she sat down on one of the black leather swivel chairs beside the music workstation.   "Seriously. I for sure wasn't expecting it. I didn't even know we went to the same school." Yongguk added as he pulled himself in front of it, adjusting his seat to be at level with it.   "Same here." She smiled a bit before looking at the soundboard. It wasn't new to her. Her parents after all did own a record company of their own so it only made sense she was familiar with it. She just wasn't familiar with how it worked exactly, so she was amazed by how Yongguk worked at it so effortlessly, before pulling out a pen and paper to start scribbling down notes on it. She looked at him curiously.  "So what drove you to come up to me back at the cafe?" His eyes snapped up at her and her lips curled into a smile when he saw his slightly bewildered expression. "Was it my striking good looks?"   He laughed a bit at the way she said that so confidently with an arched brow. It was cute and playful. He thought he would have to play along. "I actually did go with the intention of hitting on you. I didn't do that good of a job, though."   "I'm glad you came up to me at the cafe." This statement did catch him by surprise and once again he watched her with a quizzical gaze. "It was very bold."   He raised a brow. "Oh?"   Min nodded simply. "I like bold men."   He couldn't help but flash his gummy smile at her own bold nature. "Is that so?"   "Of course," She shrugged coolly. "Why wouldn't I? Besides, it might just mean you're bold with your music as well. And I'm kind of anticipating that."   He chuckled once again. "You sure know how to flirt."   "So I've been told." She really wasn't one to flirt too much unless she was genuinely interested, and honestly he got her interested. It was to be expected from someone with such a carefree and straight forward attitude. "I've also been told though, that I can be a bit challenging when it comes to work. So don't expect too much from me."   "What a coincidence," He began with his gummy smile, evoking her own perfectly adorable one. "I've been told the same."   She bit her lip and nodded. "Maybe we do really match."   He raised both brows playfully. "Maybe."   For a slight second, the room grew quiet as Yongguk watched Min, his eyes etching every feature and engraving it in his mind. He found her smile intoxicating and her large eyes holding so much depth that all he wanted to do was know what it was exactly that she was seeing. What she was thinking. He had seen all of her cute little facial expressions, each one driving something in him to react.   "So do you have any questions you need to ask or..."   "Huh?" He was snapped away from his thoughts by his voice, becoming embarrassed when he realized he had been staring at her like some idiot. His cheeks and ears burning up as a result. He cleared his throat and tried to remain as calm as he could. "Oh, sorry, um... any specific beats you're looking for?"   She thought about for a moment but quickly described it in details. "A deep base, a nice mellow trap beat, some dubs, and a drop somewhere early on."   Yongguks eyes widened, obviously impressed. He had been expecting the usual kind of orchestra or vocal beat most other would go for in attempts to avoid naming specific beats they didn't know. But of course he should've expected Min to be... well... unexpected. "Wow. You're very specific."   But of course, with Min's knowledge in music, she knew how to explain herself to another musician. She smiled shyly and looked down. "Told you I could be a bit-"   "I like it."   Min snapped her head up, a bit surprised by his sudden word choice. "Oh?"   "I like challenging women."   it didn't take long for her to pick up his meaning. Her smile brightened. "We'll work well together, then."   "I'm sure we will."    - - - - - - - - - -   They agreed on an instrumental track and Yongguk went hard to work, even going as far as taking his work home with him. He was determined to make it as amazing and as unique as possible. For her. Because she deserved only the best. It had been such a long time since he's felt so inspired and so motivated.   Sitting on his bed, he went though how the rest of the day had gone with Min.   "So I'm assuming it went good," Himchan began from the doorway as he leaned against the frame with his arms crossed against his chest and a lollipop in his mouth.   Yongguk cocked his head up, looking over at his friend with curious eyes. "What makes you say that?"   "Your stupid grin," He said with a smile before starting forward into the room and taking a seat on the swivel chair by Yongguk's work desk. "Is it safe to say she isn't a stuck-up snob?"   After class and before the meeting, Yongguk had called Himchan to tell him he would be running late to get back home because he had to meet with his appointed partner. He further explained the situation and went as far as confiding in him his worry about the girl being some rich spoiled snob.   Yongguk let out a sigh and smiled, recalling Min. "Not even close. I've never met someone like her."   "Is she hot?" Himchan raised a brow.   Yongguk looked at him, still leaning back with his arms tucked under his head. "She's a dime, bro."   Himchan couldn't help but snort a laugh before patting his friend on the leg. "Damn, brother. Got it bad already, huh?"   "Shut up."   "That's good, man," Himchan now began sincerely. "Being happy looks good on you."   It had been a long time since he's seen the older smile so genuinely. Things had only become tougher around where they lived, and though he tried to keep a positive outlook, he couldn't help but feel two overwhelmed sometimes, especially dealing with two younger kids. But Yongguk always pushed on, constantly working and studying, even now go
