A piece of advice

Gentlemen

As I sat there being interviewed, I couldn’t help but wonder how she was. She called me this morning telling me that she was going to be recording for her first solo album.  It’s only been a couple of hours but I already miss her. I wish this interview could just end already but I knew I had to do this. I had a lot of explaining to do. It was the right thing.

“Before you could say anything else Chanyeol-ssi, there’s someone here really wanting your autograph,” Kim Gura-ssi announced.

Stopping an interview for someone wanting an autograph… weird.

“She’s in the audience, over there.” I looked to where he was pointing and I choked on my own breath. She waved excitedly, something she did whenever she saw me and I couldn’t help but grin. She was here.  “Sandara Park everyone!”

The audience clapped as Dara made her way towards the front. I bit my lip. “Annyeong, Dara-sii,” I sent out a smirk towards her in which she replied with a blush.

“Dara-ssi, is everything he said true so far?” Kim Gura-ssi asked. Dara nodded.

“Yes, everything is true and trust me what happens next is seriously just so…” she trailed off. “Oh god I don’t even know what to make of it.”

I chuckled. I’m glad she remembered what happened.

“I’ll let her take the reins on this one,” I said to Kim Gura and she did just that.

I’m sure you’ve heard of the saying ‘There’s a very thin line between love and hate’. That night, I was thinking. Something I’ve recently started doing a lot since I saw them. He was still running through my mind. I talked to Bommie and I told her everything. I wanted to forget him but sharing two years with someone was extremely hard to forget. Just last week I saw him flirting with Sulli and I felt a burning rage within me. At first, I couldn’t understand. I was sure I had stopped loving him even before we ended. I was confused and lost.

“Relationships are complicated,” Bommie spoke; her voice oozing with the sound of wisdom. “When we end it, we hope that everything else ends too, including feelings. But what we don’t realise is that no matter what happens we will still, always have feelings for them – may it be love, admiration or hate,” she took a deep breath and looked at me in the eye. “When we end a relationship there’s only two things to do, hold on or let go and sometimes when we think we love them, we hold on to them. But that’s only what we think because in reality, it’s just our selfishness and greed. Two years doesn’t go easily, I know that. I’ve been through that.”

I watched as she closed her eyes and took another deep breath. “That relationship, it was hard,” there was pain in her voice and I suddenly felt the urge to hug her but something told me not to. “It was the one where we argued more than we actually spent time together and somewhere in the middle I started to question myself what I was doing with him but I stuck with him nonetheless thinking that what I felt for him was love. When we finally ended it, it was hard to let go. At first I couldn’t understand either but then I realised it was because of all the time, all the emotions and tears I’ve invested into that person and I’ve grown comfortable with it that starting a fresh was even more painful…”

Bommie had gone through a lot and I admired her. She was strong – probably a lot stronger than me, CL-roo and Minki-ah combined. I was glad she was here for me because I wouldn’t know what I would have done without her.

My eyes fluttered open. A un-lady like noise came out from my mouth as I got up. We were preparing for our comeback and so I needed to practice harder. I got ready and went off to YG where I saw Jiyongie waiting for me.

“How’s it goin’?” I asked as I hugged him. Yongie… let’s just say our relationship is slightly weird. He’s a good friend of mine.

“Noona, someone is here waiting for you.” He gestured to his right and I met the image of Chanyeol with a rose. My eyebrows creased in confusion. He smirked and walked towards me. Yongie was long gone by now.

“Well hello there beautiful,” he smirked once again before biting the corner of his lower lip. “A rose for you,” he handed me a rose in which I accepted.

“H-hello…” I stammered.

He chuckled and ruffled my hair. “Who knew the angel could be so cute,” he teased.

Was he flirting with me? I gasped.

I felt his arm go around my shoulder as he spoke the words, “Let’s go on a date!”

Chapter 6: Did Chanyeol really left Dara without paying the bill? OMG! He pulled this prank very well. Hahaha. I bet it will take Dara a life time to forget this embarrassing moment and the guy who caused it. Naughty boy, he's not even sorry.
