“What was her reaction when she heard what you did?”

“She was furious.” I couldn’t help but chuckle. “That was actually our first ever real argument… Back then I felt stupid but now that I look back, I’m so glad I did it. Although, I gotta say, sajangnim nearly killed me.”

Our third meeting wasn’t a coincidence anymore.

For the past few weeks, I’ve been quite busy preparing for our debut. I couldn’t comprehend what I felt. Did I feel nervous or did I feel scared? Perhaps excited?

“Let’s take a break,” Suho-hyung called out and within seconds, our members fell on the ground trying to catch their breaths. In the three years we’ve worked alongside each other, I don’t think any of us has ever worked this hard before.

The practice room was quiet and all you could hear was all of our short and quick breaths.

“Who’s hungry!?” The door slammed open revealing a gorgeous angel in the process. She wore a plain white shirt and black jeans and although her outfit was simple, it complimented her outstanding looks. 

"Noona!!!" 

That was Kris-hyung. I watched as he stood up so quickly that it seemed like a lightning had struck him somehow. 

"Annyeong!" she waved her hand excitedly. It kind of reminded me of a highschool girl greeting her crush on the first day back. "I bought food!" 

In the blink of an eye, all our members crowded around the food she had brought us. I stayed in the corner, watching the angel go around our members, making sure everyone had something to eat. I smiled then turned around to reach for my water bottle. When I opened the cap, I noticed she was making her way towards me. 

"Hello there, Chanyeol, fancy seeing you here," she giggled. "I didn't know you were part of this group," she joked and I couldn't help but notice she looked a lot happier and healthier since the last time I saw her. 

"It's nice to hear you laugh noona," I took a sip of my water. She handed me a bag of sandwich and I took it off of her before saying a polite "thank you".

She sat down next to me and we shared a moment of silence until she broke it. "From what I see, I know you guys are going to be amazing!" she grinned.

"Thank you noona, but can I ask what brings you here?" I asked hesitantly in which she just grinned and patted my back. 

"I doubt you know that me and Kris are quite close too right?" she chuckled but she was right. I had no clue. "I know Kris way back. We met through Siwon. Siwon and Bommie had a fling before but it was no secret really then it ended because they both agreed it wasn't working anymore. They're still quite good friends though," she smiled to herself. I couldn't help but wonder how she was holding up. 

"Noona," I called. "If you don't mind me asking, how are you?" I bit my lower lip ask anticipated for her answer. She sighed. 

"Well, me and Yoona are good. She slapped him 5 times and I got to watch," she let out a soft giggle. "But it's hard... I kind of miss him." 

I reached out and patted her back. "Everything'll be alright," I comforted. 

"I sure do hope so," she replied. "I'll be right back, I'll just go over to Kris," she stood up and walked towards Kris-hyung who was practically making out with another sandwich. Before I could even start eating, Suho-hyung approached me with a teasing look. I rolled my eyes. "What?" I asked. 

"I see you and the goddess are getting pretty cosy," he sang as he wiggled his eyebrows. I laughed. 

"I was just comforting her," I said.

"You're doing it wrong," he said as he shook his head disappointedly at me.

"How?" 

"She just got out of a serious relationship am I right?" he asked and I nodded. I wondered how he knew. Was it that obvious? "Then what she needs is a distraction. And you shall be that for her!" he said excitedly. 

"Erm, what?" I asked slightly confused. 

"Don't worry I'll help you," he grinned. 

“What did he mean by he’ll help you?” Kim Gura-ssi was undeniably excited. I laughed.

“You’ll see,” I smirked.

Practice was seriously tiring and all I wanted was to crash in bed. After I had showered and about to tuck myself into my oh-so comfy bed, my bedroom was ambushed by Suho-hyung and Kris-hyung.

“Hi there…” I greeted slightly unsure what they were doing.

“You don’t need to worry anymore Chanyeol; we’re here to help you!” Kris-hyung ruffled my hair.

What the hell? It felt like they were talking in some kind of alien language because I seriously could not – emphasis on the ‘could not’ – understand what they were saying.

“Okay, so first of all you’re too innocent. You need to toughen up. You know, man up!” Suho-hyung started and from the corner of my eyes I could see Kris-hyung nodding his head, it was almost as if he was head banging or something.They continued however. They kept talking and talking and honestly, I just really wanted to go to bed.

“Guys,” I called out but nope, they still kept talking. “Guys,” louder this time. Still no. “GUYS!” I shouted and 5 seconds later, Baekhyun came barging in the room.

“Baekhyun get out, we’re talking business here!” Suho-hyung shouted.

“I have no idea what you’re talking about!” It was seriously getting on my nerves. I heard a sigh escape their lips.

“What we’re trying to say is that you must court her,” Kris hyung declared. Court who?

“Dara-noona of course!”

I didn’t realise I said that out loud but what!? I felt a rush of panic course through my veins. I have a weird feeling about this.

“No no no no no. I can’t.” I strongly disagreed.

“Well, too bad.” They laughed.

What the hell did I get myself into...
