Lee Taeyeon is very childish, but she knows when to be serious. Taeyeon is extremely skinny due to her fast metabolism - even though she is very healthy. She can get carried away with her competitiveness because she hates to lose. She is very close to her dongsaengs and is very close kind to those she knows exceptionally well. She is definitely not a tsundere. She's very smiley and bubbly - hence, her nicknames - and is always happy. She is very frank and blunt. Taeyeon is a prankster, and knows how to entertain herself when she is alone. She has no problem with trusting people - although, she is VERY gullible. She is addicted to all types of music, and she loves to dance. She is an extreme citizen as well as being an obsessed gamer. She is pretty introverted and is unassertive. Background/History:

 Taeyeon was a very good student: she got good grades and was very obedient. Everyone would call her, "the perfect child". She would follow the rules, no matter what. To relieve the stress she would get, she danced and sang - or anything that would have her calm down. She took karate and gymnastics and became very athletic. However, in middle school, her parents got divorced. Taeyeon and her brother went to live with her mother, but Taeyeon quickly became scared of falling in love after seeing how much pain her mother went through. Taeyeon became a better dancer by watching dancers on the TV and took singing lessons to improve her talents. When Taeyeon turned 16, she joined a local talent competition and a talent agent from DSP media accepted her. 

Family:

Lee Kwan Joon (father, 49) Kwan Joon loves Taeyeon, but he disapproves of Taeyeon’s dream to become a singer. Although he against it, he always watches over his daughter.

Lee Haneul (mother, 46) Haneul and Taeyeon are very close. She doesn’t support her dream but she wishes her luck and always prays for her success and safety. Haneul and Taeyeon are like best friends.

Lee Taesun (brother, 23) Taesun and Taeyeon are close, but he is more into studying than music. He likes to dance but in order not to disappoint his parents, Taesun is studying law.

Lee Taemin (brother, 18) Taemin looks up to Taeyeon very much. He respects her sister and always does aegyo with his noona. Taemin and Taeyeon are inseparable.
