Don’t get me wrong. My feelings for her are merely platonic.

It’s just that I’m not very good at connecting with others but somehow she and I understood each other beyond words.

We were inextricable.

She just made everything better simply by being beside me.

But it wasn’t always smooth sailing.

Being as close as we were, it was inevitable that we would heads sometimes.

She was always a cheeky one.

She was always teasing me and playing tricks on me, sometimes teaming up with Amber.

I hate that she knows exactly how to push my buttons.

I got used to it though. I learned quickly that fighting fire with fire with her wasn’t the best option.

Instead, I yielded better results if I were just to pout or show a little bit of aegyo and she was putty in my hands.

It worked most of the time but we were both headstrong and neither of us would give in easily, even if we weren’t serious about it.

Besides, it meant she was giving me extra attention which I surreptitiously enjoyed.
