Kevin POV

Every body was getting frustrated by the fact that Eli was a little late for our flight,

so i had no choice but to get my phone out, and i called him...

 

it got through, i usually don't like to rush eli, since we all know he is always late anyways...

“Eli where are you, manager hyung is getting impatient, you’re the only one we are waiting for you hurry!”

 

Our company car broke down and so everyone had to make their own transport to the airport,

 

““Hello? Yes I know I’m sorry, I’m on my way now”

 

there was also another reason why I HAD to make a phone call to eli...

“Is Mina home with you? She hasn’t been answering my calls...is she ok?”

Mina Kim...

Eli's sister and one of my closest friend, 

but really deep downv,she means more than just a friend to me….

 

“About that….Mina!!!!”

I heard Eli call out,

I crossed my fingers hoping she was home…

“Kevin, I don’t think Mina is home...Look im going to see you soon, we will talk later ,bye!”

I heard the phone line drop and sighed...

i still can't figure out why mina has been distancing her self?

did i do something wrong? oh i hope not...

anyways time to focus on our new song promotions.

 

*FLASHBACK* (KEVIN'S POV)

 

We were in our practice room at the company,

 rehearsing for our debut stage with “not young”

“Hey guys sorry I’m late”

as usual Eli walks in late, 

Walking in behind him was a girl who we have never seen before, but looked familiar..

She was beautiful and she still is.,

She looked pure, cute and bubbly.

 

My heart was skipping beats,

why was it doing that? i asked myself.

It felt very different... for the first time in my life i think i felt what

"butterflies" were.

“Eli hyung!”

Dong ho shouted out as we all walked over to him.

“Who’s this?”

Kibum hyung said as he leaned on me.

I was just staring at her and well...

she was looking at me too,

We took our gazes off each other,

as it was getting awkward...

“Hello Everyone , nice to meet you” 

she bowed to us in politeness..

 

Eli introduced her to everyone.

“Guy’s this is my little sister, her name is Mina, she is from the states and she came back to do highschool here.”

Oh so she is mina...,

Eli has mentioned her before,

I didn’t know she was this pretty.

“She just arrived... so she will be staying at our dorm, until we can find Eli and Mina their own place”

Manager hyung  said as he walked in

“UKISS! back to practice, your debut is tomorrow, gotta work hard! fighting!”

 

The manager waved to mina and mina bowed to him..

he continued to monitor our progress...

The guys were warming up,

and so I thought I would go and introduce myself..

 

“Hi Mina, nice to finally meet you,

I’m Kevin, your brother always talks about you.”

she just lifted up her hand for a hand shake.

I shook it and some how my face went all red.

“Really??” 

Mina looked at Eli

“Hope it’s nothing bad!” she then nudged him

Eli clears his throat and just looks away smirking

“Kevin why are you so red, are you blushing?”

he looked at me and just chuckled,

Mina just smiled sweetly as she looked at me.

“Okay Mina, I have to practice now, you can ask manager hyung for the key to our dorm, and I’ll meet you back there.”

Eli said to Mina, and then she waves goodbye to me...

“I’ll see you again Kevin…bye UKISS!!”   she shouted the last line so the guys could hear her.

Ahh… she’s only just met us and she was already friendly.

 

It was the end of our practice and the guys wanted to go grab dinner before returning home,

I was feeling so tired so I let them go without me.

Finally, the day before our debut,  I was so excited.

 

Opening the door to our dorm, I smelt a very sweet aroma...

Walking further in to the apartment I saw her.... Mina.

“Oh hello Kevin” ...

“Hi Mina”

I said shyly...

She was watching some sort of fashion show, 

featuring wedding dresses and night gowns.

“ummm, where’s the others?” she was looking towards the door

“oh they went for dinner, I came back alone”

i said as i place my keys on the bench.. 

“why didn’t you go for dinner?…”

“I am quite tired” 

I said as I let out a yawn,

it was embarrasing...

She chuckled and switched off the TV and some music,

it was playing SS501.

“oh I see, I made some hot chocolate would you like some?”

she walked over towards the kitchen,

I watched her back, her hair was very long, and swayed from side to side…very pretty.

I snapped out of it…

“yeah sure....”

 

“okay just wait a minute”

 she said as she started to get a cup from the cupboard

“you like to listen to ss501?”

I asked as I noticed she was humming to their song “snow prince”

“yeah well my brother told me about them so I thought I would check them out, 

pretty cool songs, by the way, there was a guy in your group that looked EXACTLY like the maknae from double S” 

she said looking very curious

I let out a laugh, her facial expressions were so cute.

“that’s cause they are brothers”…

I answered her, as I laughed as well

“ahh I see… ahahaha, here is your hot chocolate”

she handed me a cup, it was warm,

this was the first time, a girl....has ever made me anything. 

well someone besides my mum and noona and servers at the shops...

“thankyou” 

I said as I looked at her

We stayed gazing at each other for a few seconds before she broke the silence.

“So your debut is tomorrow huh?.. how are you feeling?”

she sat down on the other side of the couch,

“ Pretty excited, ummm… will you be there?” I asked her,

“ofcourse! My only brother is part of your group… But I can’t stay for long, I’ve got some school things to hand in.”

She pointed to the coffee table and I noticed there was a book flipped open to a design of a very beautiful evening gown...

“you drew this?”

I picked up the book and looked at it over and over again

“yeah, I designed it…. Do you like it?”

she flipped the pages of the book and showed me more of her designs.

“its beautiful…your brother always boasts about your designs,
they are very good,now that i see for myself.”

I said as i looked at the dress then looked back up at her,

mesmerising... my heart was beating faster..

“hehehe thankyou” 

she put the book down

“It’s my porfolio and best chance of getting into “Seoul High School of Design, Fashion and Arts”.

 

“well I wish you all the best” 

I flashed her a smile

not only is she beautiful, she is talented too,

umm why didn’t Eli introduce me to her earlier...

 

She jumped up from the couch...

“Kevin if you don’t mind can you help me carry my luggage into Eli’s room?, I don’t want it to be in the way”

 

“Sure!...”

I jumped right up enthusiastically, which caused her to laugh.

We were getting along quite well.

“Hmm, so you and Eli share a room, who should I kick out?”

she asked me, I froze as I didn’t know how to answer

“I’m Joking” she laughed

 “I’m happy to be in the living room on the couch”

“No, don’t do that, you can definitely kick Eli out”  I said quickly and we both laughed.

She started to unpack some stuff and just put them on the bed to fix up later.

 

“ahaha I doubt he would let me share a room with you” 

she said and we both laughed,

she started to walk out of the room, which was a little bit clutered... well what do you expect, boys will be boys..

 

“ahhh! ouch...”

She tripped over a box, and hit her head on the wall near the door

"omo! are you okay?"  i bolted over to her..

“ummm I’m okay, i think..." she covered the area she hit with her hand, then slowly took it off

“oh your bleeding!”

I helped her wipe the blood,

she was holding back the pain, it must have hurt

“is that better?” I looked at her and our eyes locked.

“thankyou” she said sweetly, we were both blushing.
