Kevin's POV

"So how's mina?"

Kibum hyung asked eli,

and as those words reach my ears

My body froze and a frown was drawn upon my face...

 

"yeah... mina is fine, she has been studying hard, she is still on her break ..she misses u-kiss, and misses you too hyung."

 

Eli said as he looked at me.

i let out a small sigh

"ok.. we're here"

the elevator/lift stopped on our floor

"okay well we better hurry and go get ready, bye hyung"

i gave kibum a hug and he messed up my hair,

i slowly walked off to our room, leaving kibum hyung and eli to chat a little bit..

 

"does kevin know?" 

i over heard kibum hyung asking eli

 

"no he doesn't"   

"well he has too eli.. better get it over earlier..."

what?...wait.. what don't i know?

what are they talking about?

i pretended like i didn't hear anything,

and continued walking away

 

"come on eli!"

i turned back to tell eli to hurry up..

 

i guess there is a reason they didnt want me to know?  right? what could it possibly be..?

ELI’s POV

Poor Kevin, I can tell his not coping well with mina ignoring him

“better hurry and go get ready, bye Hyung...”

Kevin hugged Kibum goodbye and walked away

“okay bye kibum,  if we don't get drinks tonight ...we shall hang out once we are back in korea”

I Started Waving and walking away from Kibum,  

 

“Does Kevin know?” 

he tapped me on the shoulder to turn me back around and stay.

he looked at me very seriously

I was a bit confused before i realized what he was talking about…

he must have over heard my conversation on the phone

I looked at Kevin to see that he was far enough hoping he couldn't hear us 

“no he doesn’t...”

I looked at Kevin and back at kibum..shaking my head with disappointment...

 

“well he needs to eli... it's not fair"

Kibum said using his brotherly voice,

and i know he is just trying to look out for kevin...

 

“I know, I’ll break it to him as soon as I can”

I put my hand on his shoulder to assure him

"come on eli!!"  kevin yelled out to me.

“Just look after him for me … I missed you guys you know...” 

 

 

Kibum flashed me a smile

“missed you too, look you have all of our numbers ,just call us when you want to hang out”

We parted ways, back to our own business.

Hang in there Mina,

I’ll get you out of this mess, you are meant to be with Kevin.

this kept playing in my mind, i needed to think of a plan soon.

 

*FLASHBACK* No one's POV

U-kiss is preparing for another come back, this time with their hit song

 " Talk to me.." 

As they were rehearsing, Mina sneaked into the training room,

Eli quickly ran over to her, and the rest just kept practicing,

but one person couldn't take his eyes off her...kevin.

 

Mina quickly handed over eli his phone..

"Gosh, why are you always leaving your phone everywhere, and then get me to find it for you..."  

Mina waved to Kevin, he smiled and waved back.

"Eli! what are you doing? our comeback is tomorrow.., get back to dancing...."

Their manager came into the room he started shouting immediately, but stopped when he spotted mina...

"Oh hi Mina.. i didn't see you there..fine fine.. everyone take a fifteen minute water break.."

 

"Oh thankgod.. thanks MINA!! "

They all shouted in relief.. the manager cleared his throat as he heard and walked out of the room..

they all went over to say hi to Mina..

and dongho offered her a soft drink... .. "here noona"

"yah dongho, what did i say about calling me noona!"

Mina was not use to korean formalities and found it odd..

"what, but you are my noona, ahaha get use to it"

"hmmmph... i'll try..."

Since being in korea, it didnt take her long to adjust..

 

She gave her soft drink  to kevin, who was standing right beside her... they chatted away... just about nearly anything...

"Mina do you know how to dance?... You can watch us and join in.. it's a fun dance.."  Alexander asked as he gets up from the ground and starts to stretch

"Huh?.. Mina dance?.. no way, she has two left feet.."  Eli teased as he gulps down the last drop of water in his bottle..

" Fine.... to prove eli wrong... show me how to dance ukiss!" 

Mina sounded defensive and started to warm up...

"Okay Let's go!"   Kevin says as he leads mina into position and they start the music to "Talk to me"...

In the beginning it was okay and Mina was following quite well with most of the steps, as the whole group directed her along.. 

but just as the chorus was about to start... Mina tumbled over and was about to fall face first onto the floor,

 

just before she could feel the hard floor hit her face, she felt warm and soft lips on her cheeks...

Kevin bloted to her, the minute he saw her fall, and acted as a cushion/mattress there to protect her...

they both turned into red tomatoes..with the sudden skin contact.

"Mina.. are you okay?"

"Yeah i'm okay.. thankyou..."

With the sudden mannerism and shyness coming from both of them,

U-kiss teased

"Are you guys going to get up? or make out on the floor?"  Alexander said

 With this they both got up, and started to playfully hit alexander...

"I think i'll just stand aside and watch... ukiss fighting!"

They continued to dance.

Kevin was always glimpsing over at Mina, but she would pretend to be looking at other members...

and she would look at him when he has his eyes off her...

From that day on... they both knew that they would be close friends.... if not more... 

*FLASHBACK ENDS*

 

 NARRATION

 “Okay Good Job UKISS Japan Loves You!”

The manager  gave big praises to them.

They have just finished a performance and interview session at

"Made in BS Japan"

They have been running around everywhere,

from autograph sessions to photo shoots,

anything you name it,

so pretty much everyone is exhausted

 

“can we go back to the hotel now! I just want to go home”

Dong ho screamed as he leaned on Kiseop while walking

“Ya! maknae get off me, I’m tired too..”

Dongho ignored him and they kept walking together

“alright, alright, gosh you kids, hurry and get in the car”

The manager unlocked the car and they all just ran towards it.

“I’m sitting in the front!”

Soohyun shouted

All of the other members looked at each other and rolled their eyes, causing them all to laugh.

Eli and Kevin were the last members to get into the car

“Hey Kevin I need to tell you something....”

 

“Sure anything...what is it?”  

You could hear that he was tired in his voice

 

“Actually I’ll tell you when we get back to the hotel”

Eli said after he looked around at the other members

"hmm ok..." kevin was exhausted

 

Once everyone was in their seats they all fell asleep..

but the next thing you know, they were already at the hotel...

 

“WAKE UP!” the manager shouted 

“awww COME ON!!” they all said, but no one moved from their seats. 

 

NARRATION

It was becoming a long night,

while UKISS was packing and getting ready to leave Japan,

Mina and Mica was still having conversations through out the night.

 

Mina was in agony while she was waiting for Eli to come back,

 

The only thing that could help take her mind off things was talking to her best friend,

 

MICA's POV

Mina is one of my best friends,

To think that she is going to get married to someone she doesn’t love,

Someone she doesn’t even know.

It makes me upset...

That is just so unfair,

I have to do something about it.

 

She has been fidgeting the whole night.

I can tell that she is worried.

I think I should stay and keep her company.

I should make her let me stay the night.

“So mica unnie do you have a place to stay yet?”

oh good well that all goes to plan, she dropped the question even before i spoke up.

 

“Well I’m still waiting for my dad to come and meet me here in Korea, he is still in Australia right now, so I guess I might have to stay at a hotel”

I lied, my dad was already in korea,

...he is a body guard, a very important body guard..

 

Yes, so i get to stay the night at Mina's I

I’m going to get the name of the guy that she is supposedly getting married to and do some research!

 

Mina’s POV

When is my stupid brother going to be back!

Talking about being protective over me!

Ahh well, I better just wait and not neglect Mica 

“So Mica unnie, do you have a place to stay yet?”

I asked her as I the TV

Oh.My.Gosh does “We Got Married” have to be on right now?

 

I just turned my attention back to Mica unnie 

“Well I’m still waiting for my dad to come and meet me here in Korea, he is still in  Australia right now, so I guess I might have to stay at a hotel”

She said as she cleared ,

hmm maybe that’s a hint…

 

“Hey you can stay here, for the mean time?”

I offered with a big smile

“Are you sure?” she was hesitant at first, but had a smile on her face

“of… * FINALLY MA REUO JI CHI MA!!!!!!*”

and of course I had to be disturbed by the phone ringing…

it was Eli..

it’s about time he called

“Sorry Unnie, I have to take this call” 

She understood as she gave me a wink.

“and of course I’m sure!”

I finished off my sentence, before walking away

 

Eli’s POV

We were gathered for a group meeting in the hotel lobby

I wondered what it was for...

I just want to be back in Korea as soon as I can.

“Sorry guys, our flight has been cancelled and so we have to stay here for the night and return tomorrow morning.”

Our manager just announced

Okay way to break my hope of helping Mina tonight.

“Awww come on!!” Dongho yelled out

“Shhh!”  Kiseop said as he playfully punched Dongho

I just laughed at them and we all just made our way back to our rooms

 

Kevin smiles as he puts his hand over my shoulder and we walked

“It’s been a long night hasn’t it, now it is going to be even longer, I miss Mina”

I just smiled and nodded.

We were in the room,

Kevin turns on the TV and relaxes, he was happy.

Oh I hope he can take it when the news breaks out to him.

 

I had to call Mina.

I didn’t want Kevin to hear what I had to say.

So I went out of the room.

The phone line started to connect

“ABOUT TIME!!”  Mina shouted into my ear…

I knew it wasn’t going to be good.

“I’m SORRY SORRY!”

 

“Where are you? I’m waiting, help me.” She pleaded,

that somehow made me happy, my little sister wanted my help,

ahahaaha and then I snaped out of it.

“Ummm…about that! Our flight got cancelled” 

my eyes squinted hoping for her not to scream.

“WHAT?!?! ELI!! I need you now…”

 

“I KNOW I KNOW, I’m sorry I promise once I get off the flight I’ll race home, and I’ll help you face that crazy mother of ours.”

I heard her laugh and felt a bit better..

but I’m not going to let my sister marry someone she doesn’t love,

“okay, I know I can count on you, I’ll see you tomorrow.”

 

“Bye Mina…”

“Bye Oppa”

“WAIT!”  i stopped her, i got shocked she has NEVER called me oppa

“Yes?...”

“You hardly call me oppa!”

 

“oh shut up! I thought I’d be nice…. and i've been in korea for how long? i should get use to it by now..”

“ahahahaha okay.. byebye.” i was still smiling to myself at the thought of how close me and my sister was...

family means everything to me...

I turned around to go back into the room,

before i could go in,

I saw Kibum hyung

he waved, I waved back.

not lying but I was extremely happy to have met him again,

ever since he left the group,

it just hasn’t been as fun as it use to be.

 

“Hey Kibum Hyung”

“Yo Eli”

Ahh Kibum hyung has always been so cool.

“Is Kevin in the room?” he asked as he pointed to the door

“Yeah he is, you want to see him?” I said with a smile,

“I’ll go in later... I need to talk to you” 

he sounded serious

“So hows your brother hyung joon hyung?” 

I knew exactly what he wanted to ask.. 

So I was trying to change the topic.

“Hyung is doing really well, so have you told him yet?”

He asked again...

“Oh tell him I said hi”  I tried to dogde the question again

“Eli stop it. Does Kevin know?”

He was getting angry...

“No he doesn’t, look give me time, I’ll break it to him tonight”

I can understand why Kibum Hyung is so concerned,

they have been best friends for a very long time, even before they joined UKISS.

But I really don’t want Kevin to know just yet.

“Look Eli, Mina is possibly getting married, to someone she has no idea of

and you want Kevin’s love to just be given or trapped to someone else....

without him knowing...”

Just then the door to our hotel room opened,

My heart skipped a beat,

Me and Kibum’s eyes was fixed on to the person that came out....

 

Kevin was in shock and disappointment,

his head was down....he slowly brought it back up to look at me.

“Is what Kibum hyung said.. true?”

I was speechless so I just nodded,
