i didnt get to finish my question,

manage hyung came to hurry us out of there.

letting out a sigh I walked out ,

 

Turning around , Kevin had his hand on my shoulder’s stopping me in my tracks and gave me a smile,

“yes I do… I always have …since the day I met her, i love your sister..”

after that... he just walked right past me back into his seat

I could only sigh and hope he doesn't find out the truth....

..about why mina is avoiding him..

 

NARRATION

Meanwhile back in Korea....

Mina was at home knitting a scarf that she has been working on for a quite some time,

She was flicking through the channels on TV ,

She stopped at one that was currently showing the MV to U-KISS'  new single

 "0330"

When ever kevin was on the screen,

she had a look of sadness...

"Kevin woo…. Why did you have to appear in my life?...….”

 

She sighed and then switched off the television

“Finally na-reul ji-weo-beo-ryeo Finally jam-shi him-deul-gett-ji-man” 

She received a text.

 

After reading the message, she threw her phone across the room, as it hit the wall,

she wasvgetting overwhelmed and angry, she broke down in tears,

 

“Why? Why does this have to happen to me!?”

 

MICA's POV

Ahhh KOREA!

i was so glad to be back. 

I missed it here .

The people are so nice,

Nothing has changed.

 

So.. i'm Mica, 20 years old and I'm here to do some major dream chasing!

I'm a dancer, and quite a passionate one..

I'm back to audition for the best dance academy here in seoul which is part of the,

"Seoul School of Arts and culture"

The person who supports me the most..... is back with me. 

that person is my dad ....

He came back a day earlier,

i  should be meeting up with him later tonight!

 

I am also here to see a very special person...

My bestfriend Mina.

i missed her so much,

Mina Kim...

My best friend, someone who i automatically click with.. no matter how long we have been apart.

 

Although i left years ago, we still talked and kept in touch.

i always visit her when i'm back in korea ,

and this time, i promised the first thing i do when i come back was...

to go see her!!

 

Walking towards mina’s house I heard a loud scream coming from her apartment,

i was very worried,

i quickly dropped down all my luggage,

which was, by the way, very heavy! 

I rang the bell quickly and was banging on the door 

“Mina! Mina..., whats wrong open the door!”

I shouted

next thing I know ,

the door flew open,

standing in front of me was Mina,

She was in tears,

 

Mina threw herself at me,

i was hugging her to comfort her,

I was a bit unprepared  to see her like this,

i wonder what happened?

“ Mica!!  , I’m so glad you’re here, you have to help me”…

Wiping away her tears Mina looked at me with eyes pleading for help,

Looking at her, my face was full of questions,

I haven’t seen my best friend,  in  what seems to be, a very long time

I was hoping to see her smile.

 

“give me a minute mina, and you can tell me ALL about it okay”

I walked her over to the couch and went to get her a cup of water

“Tha--nks Mica ”

she said along with some hiccups

I didn’t ask her what was wrong,

I just needed her to calm down

 

i  kept her company,

she was laying down on the couch

i watched her fall asleep

I guess crying does make you tired...

 

“Finally na-reul ji-weo-beo-ryeo Finally jam-shi him-deul-gett-ji-man!!!!!”

Mina’s phone started ringing which kind of made me jump,

I quickly answered it in case Mina woke up

i was moving away so i wouldnt disturb mina's sleep,

 

“ Hello??”

 “ Hello Mina??”

It was a man’s voice,

I’m guessing it was Mina’s brother…

what was his name again…

oh right!

 

i took the phone away from my ear to see the caller id,

“Sorry.... your eli right?” 

putting the phone back on my ear,

all i heard was rambling

“yeah I am?? who are you?! whats your name?! why are you in our apartment?!

my sister didnt say she will be having  guest over?! Put her on the phone.... ”

 

“WOW DUDE! CALM DOWN!"  i screamed at him

oh my gosh!

he asked me so many questions!

crazy brother much....

 

Funny  how i've been friends with Mina for so many years and I still haven't met her brother,

i only know that his from an idol group...

U something...oh yeah UKISS!.

 

...i actually don't even know what they look like... i am someone who is more influenced by western music, since i spend more time in the states... 

but i do however try my best to keep up with kpop, especially for their dances.. to me they are inspiring..

but for kpop idols...i'm more interested in BEAST, 2PM, SHinee, Teen Top,

so on and on, but some how i never got into UKISS...

 

"Mina fell asleep, I didnt  want to wake her” ...

i quickly let him know before he goes crazy with questions again

"I'm Mina's best friend, and as for my name, i don't think it matters to you, just know i'm not a stranger..."

 i smirked even though he can't see me

 

How could Mina have such an over protective brother,

so glad i'm the only child, but i wish i had a younger brother...

"fine... whatever ...you better look after my sister... i'll be back tonight!...i got to go.."" 

he quickly said 

“hey wait!”  I just had to ask him

“what?!”  he had some attitude

ack... i rolled my eyes before asking

“do you know what’s wrong with your sister?”..........

 

ELI’s POV

We arrived in japan,

Ahh pretty girls everywhere,

short girls, tall girls, long hair, funky hair, big eyes, ahh flawless skin.

oh and i still remeber that lovely girl i bumped into before boarding my plane,

ahhh why do we idols have to have dating restrictions...

 

"Eli hyung! stop checking out the girls!!" 

Dongho shouted as he playfully attacked me by hitting my neck.. and i heard some girls giggle as they walk past us...

i scratched the back of my head, denying what he just said

"i wasnt..."

 

"stop lying, i saw you...your such a play boy" maknae teased me

 

" yeah eli stop it! have you ever thought about the feelings of your past dates, i mean you did go on heaps..." 

Soohyun hyung added on to the fire and kept teasing me..

 

"whatever guys, thats the past, i'm actually looking for something stable now... as crazy as it sounds, i'm looking for something real..."

 

"psssh yeah thats what they all say"

Kiseop scoffed and walked away

I ignored their comments,

i'm serious about wanting something real now...

 

I think I should give a call to Mina and let her know I have landed…

The line connected but a voice that didn’t match Mina picked up

 

“Hello Mina?”

 

“Sorry your eli right?”

 

Okay? i started to get worried, being the over protective brother i was i started asking questions

"yeah i am? who are you? whats your name? what are you doing in my apartment? put mina on the phone.."

 

"WOW DUDE! CALM DOWN!" she literally screamed at me.

no girl usually does that to me...

I didn’t think Mina would have friends over..

“Mina fell asleep, I don’t want to wake her, and as for my name, it doesnt matter to you, just know i'm not a stranger” 

she was kinda giving me attitude

"fine... you better look after my sister...i'll be back tonight! i got to go"  i quickly said since we had to hurry

Kevin was signalling me to get a move on,

 

"hey wait!" she quickly said before i could hang up

 

"what?"  i said,

at this point i was being rude, but come on i'm tired and sleepy...

being an idol isnt easy...

 

I’m happy that Mina had someone there she could talk too

“do you know what’s wrong with your sister?”

 

Her voice sounded very serious which got me worried

“What do you mean? gosh is she ok? what did you do?”

I guess Kevin over heard as he mouthed the words “is it mina?”

 

I shook my head and saw the disappointment on his face

“again be calm....your sister was crying when I arrived..did something happen?”

Mina was crying?

 

Would it be over that issue again…

before answering her,  I had to  make sure that Kevin was in quite a distant away from me

“hmmmm ok...I’m guessing she is upset about it again”

I felt sorry for my sister....

“about what?”

 

“Mina… she’s in an arranged marriage.. she only knew about it recently”

 

“really?!? what do we do??” 

she sounded too serious it was getting on my nerves..

“look...can you do me a favour and help me look after her…”

 

“of course” she re-assured me

 

“thankyou…byebye”

 

Hanging up, I felt someone tap my shoulder

 

“Kibum HYUNG!?!?”

 I was surprised and I gave him a very big hug

After noticing our beloved ex-member,

Everyone came running towards our direction

“Kibum!”  Soohyun shouted out

We had a group hug

The new members AJ and Hoon was still unfamiliar with Kibum

so they just stood to the side

 

“Hyung ! what are you doing in japan!”

Kevin asked with excitement

“I have a fan meeting here, sorry I’ve been busy, and haven’t kept in touch”

 

“hello kibum, have you been well”   Our manager went over to give kibum a hug

 

“yes I have, hyung, are you guys off to the hotel now, mind giving me a lift, I’m staying at the same place... Konbanwah hotel right?”

 

“yes that's the one and ofcourse we can, come on kids hurry…” The manager said as he hurried us along..

 

We were walking towards the car

AJ and Hoon were walking together

 

“Hey Kibum hyung.. want you to meet our new u-kiss family members…”

I introduced them to eachother

I walked over closer to the two along with Kibum and Kevin, who were linking arms with him

“Hello”

he put his hand out to greet AJ and Hoon

Kibum hyung has always been friendly

“Hello I’m AJ”

“and I’m Hoon, nice to meet you”

The three got along so quickly

 

Kevin’s POV

I haven’t stopped thinking about Mina ever since I boarded that plane

what happened to us?....

Seems like we are drifting apart ...

but why?

 

“KIBUM HYUNG!!!” 

all of a sudden a loud voice snapped me out of my thoughts...

turning around, from a distance I saw kibum hyung ,

oh my god, i thought.. what was he doing here?

I missed him so much

 

kibum hyung! What are you doing here?'

i gave him a big hug and i was very happy to see him!!

 

 'i have a fan meeting! Sorry ive been busy lately, haven't kept in touch'

  i was linking arms with him just like old times... along we went , walking and remembering the good old days..

 'hello kibum, how have you been?'

our manager came over to give kibum a hug

 'yeah ive been well, are you guys going to the hotel, can you give me a lift, im staying at the same place, Konbanwah hotel right?"

 

""yes that's the one and ofcourse we can, okay come guys hurry'

 i noticed Aj and Hoon were walking together,

i don't blame them since they are still new to the group

 

i think i should introduce them to kibum hyung...

and just as i was about to..

'hey kibum i want you to meet...'

 Eli was ahead of me with that idea, so i left the introductions to him, he is a people's person after all...

 '....new members of the ukiss family'

 

'Hello' 

Kibum hyung put out his hand to greet hoon and AJ

 he has always been so friendly,

i'm glad he is here,

 "Hi i am AJ..'

'And I'm Hoon'

They both gladly shook hyung's hand and smiled.

they were chatting and getting along so well,

sharing stories about their experiences,

Kibum hyung even made them laugh,

well he was always known as the clown

 

It wasn't long before we reached the hotel

everyone started getting off the car, first thing they did was stretch and grab some fresh air... we needed it..

 

'congratulations on making leader soohyun'

 kibum congratulated our leader 

 'hehe thanks kibum-ah i miss you, you should've told us that you were going to be here'

Soohyun went to rub kibum hyung's head and tickled him!

 'ahahaha stop that! well i always knew you were going to be leader, and i missed you too'

Ahh the two of them always use to bicker, i sort of miss the old times...

i guess hyung being here can help me get my mind of Mina ..

 'come here kevin..i haven't seen you in ages'

 kibum hyung threw his hand over my shoulders and gave me a brotherly hug.

 

NARRATION

'alright! Guys heres your room keys....."

The Manager started to hand out keys and allocated rooms..which not everyone was happy about...

Kevin with eli, dongho soohyun and kiseop one room

aj with hoon, go get ready and be back down here in 20 minutes, we are already running late! "

He hassled them to get a move on...

'awww come on can't i have my own room...' 

dongho complained as got pulled along by soohyun

 'keep dreaming maknae!! Lets go!...Kibum we'll see you later ,stay safe'

Soohyun shouted out as he and dongho went up to their rooms

 'see you later hyung' dongho pouted as he waved goodbye

'ahahaha poor maknae'

Kibum was laughing as soohyun shooed dongho up to their room

'kibum hyung, have fun at the fan meeting, fighting! we all miss you!!'

Kiseop said as he gave a hi five to kibum

' i will...fighting kiseop ahh..'

Kibum messed up kiseops hair,

kiseop laughed and started walking off

 'soohyun hyung wait for me!'

 

'kibum, it was nice meeting you, let us meet again in korea'

AJ said as he bowed with respect and walked off

 

'let us all do our best fighting!'  

Hoon gave a friendly handshake and caught up to AJ

,before getting into the lift they both waved a goodbye to kibum

 

Turning around to still see kevin and eli still standing there, Kibum hurried them along...

What are you guys still doing here, hurry and go before you miss your schedule...'

 

'Hyung Come and grab a drink with us after our schedules,we leave tonight " 

Kevin said as the three of them  walk slowly to the lifts

 

'yeah ok, that means we have time to catch up...awesome!'

 Kibum put his arms over them as they talked a little more.

' By the way Eli ... How's Mina?'  

At this question, both eli and kevin found it hard to answer at first.. 

 

 

While waiting for Mina to wake up,  Mica was making dinner,

the smell gradually woke mina up...

 'that smells nice' 

Mina whispered

Mina's voice sounded so groggy from crying..

 'hey you're awake....'  Mica called out from the kitchen

 'Im sorry  mica ...im suppose to do that, you're the guest' 

Mina freshens up and plays with her hair,

she looks at the scarf that she was knitting... 

 

 'No its okay, dinner will be ready soon, you go freshen up'

setting the plates on the table, Mica looks over at Mina and  smiles

smiling back Mina got up and walked over to her,

 

 'who are you making that scarf for?' Mica looked over at the scarf which was half stiched, 

it was blue, which surprisingly is kevin's favourite colour... 

'...ahh that... it was originally for...kevin'

it took her a while to get  the last word out...

'originally?'   Mica raised an eyebrow...

'yeah, well i've changed my mind, i don't want him to get the wrong idea...'

 

 'then why are you still knitting it?...''

 

'Well i've got to finish or always continue what i started right,... Eli always tells me that'

Mina rolled the scarf into a ball and put it aside...

'thats a good thing to teach his sister...oh yeah speaking of eli..your phone..'

Taking minas phone out of her pocket, Mica walks over to mina,

she was fiddling with the phone before handing it back

 'thanks'

 

'your brother called before.....'

Mica stopped the sentence awkwardly, and bites her lips,    this has always been a habit of hers,

when she appears a bit nervous..

"what is it?...'  Mina gave her a curious look

 

'he told me about your ummmm arranged marraige...'  Mica said the last words quickly

'yes..... that?... i don't want to talk about it now.....but seems like you upset my brother ...?” 

Mica gave her a curious look..

Mina handed  her the phone..she continued to giggle and takes sips out of her cup of water…

 

'okay?... Just go wash up and come out to eat...

  Mica takes  Mina’s cell phone  and it was opened up to a text the Eli has just sent her

 

Mina, your friend seems very sounds rude, i want her out of the house when i'm home.

she scoffed at the message as ,she found it funny and mean at the same time, and then she replied:

 

Excuse me?? You just gave me the wrong attitude .. plus you don't even know me......

 

Ahh these two seem to be starting off on the wrong foot...

 

Oh my gosh, why do you still have mina's phone?!?

 

Coming back out from the bathroom, Mina saw Mica fuming over the phone.

 

"What happened to you?"

Mica just gave her back her phone and continued cooking

Mina saw the messages and laughed

" wow you and my brother not getting along, thats a first.... cause most girls fall for his charm"

After hearing what mina said, she laughed and just brushed it off..."

 

"well obviously not me, can you show me a picture of him, i've only met him once and i forgot what he looks like..."

Mina went over to the tv stand and brings over a photo frame...

 

"I'm sorry it looks goofy but thats a recent one of him.."

 

He looks familiar....With this thought.. Mica continued to cook dinner.....

 

Mina's POV

ahahaha... my best friend and my brother not getting along,

funny... but i i bet it will change once he meets her...

 

"Your messing with one of  the prettiest girls ever! how could you?

as your sister, i'm telling you now...i bet you will fall head over heels with her..."

That is the text i sent back to my brother, after reading their conversations...

 

 Mica was a goddess, she had a model like figure, she is an amazing dancer....and very kind hearted.

 

I looked at her as she was cooking and i just smiled

Ahh thankgod it's you, are you okay?  beautiful?

whatever..... and don't worry mina, i will help you out of this so called engagement, i promise.

i smiled but didn't reply,

i'm happy that i have such a good brother

but he can stop with being over protective...

 

i'm surprised that  he let's me and kevin hang out,

guess it's because they already knew eachother,

but his not getting on Mica's good side.....

I was thinking of kevin and i missed him ,

I looked at my phone and opened it up to the last text message me and kevin had, 

i am very hesitant to message him, i don't want to be leading him on... this is how a heart breaks.

 

 Usually  our text messages lasts very long and we talk till midnight sometimes...

 

Going through my phone i opened up the message i received,

the message i read before i went on a crying rampage

 

 'Mina, This is your mother, you can't stay at your brothers forever,

I'm coming to get you tomorrow, we have a meeting with the inlaws and you will be meeting your fiance....'

 

 i replied to it,

 

'okay, i will be there, i promise, for you, for father, for the family i will do it'

 

Guess i just have to face it in the end......

 

 NARRATION

After replying a message to her mother,

mina let out a big sigh,

chucking her phone onto her bed she heads back out to the kitchen.

" Mica unnie..." 

she walked over to stand next to her bestfriend

"unnie?, i havent heard that in a while, you usually just call me by my first name....are you ok?"

She feels mina's forehead

"gosh im fine, it's been three years since i have been in korea, i think i'll be use to it now."    mina laughs  as she pushes away Mica's hand 

" i just missed you,it has been tooo long"...

sitting down on the dinner table, they both enjoy the meal mica made

"i know i know, but hey i did come to visit every valentines day..."  

Mica sat across from Mina , but she was busy

focusing on a text message she was sending....

"funny ...It is always valentines day that your back in korea, and most of that time isnt even spent with me..."

Mina pouts

" give me that"  mina snatches the phone off mica... so she can focus on her

"okay okay i'm sorry"

they continue eating dinner,

"unnie this is so nice, where did you learn how to cook like this?..."

 

"ahhh someone taught me..." Mica blushes as she plays with her food

 

 

Mina's POV

 "Some one taught me "  Mica unnie smiled and blushed after saying that

i wonder if she has a boyfriend,

ahh it wouldn't be a surprise, seeing how beautfiful she was

well... at least she gets to choose who she can be with...

" is it a boyfriend?"

i

"....maybe... eat your food before it gets cold"

she points at my plate

i took a big bite,with a big grin on my face,

both my cheeks where puffed up from the food

unnie bursted out laughing

" ahhh mina you haven't changed...."

i have always been a kid and silly in Mica's eyes.. *sighs*

 

We were eating and talking way into the night,

i wonder when eli is going to be back..

I actually wonder what they are doing this very moment...
