NARRATION

It was the day where U-KISS was going to make a comeback in Japan.

They were to introduce Hoon and AJ to the fans, the new members of the group.

 

In the neighbourhood where Eli Kim lives, all was quiet, and only he was the one making a lot of noise,

while everyone else was busy enjoying their weekend,

where most of them would actually be...sleeping in.

Eli POV:

“Mina!!!! Where’s my cell phone!!!”

 

I was searching everywhere in my room,hoping to find it and get out of the house,

and make it to the airport ,before the members leave without me.

 

We are off to Japan today to attend events to promote our song 0330 and to introduce, our new members.

 

"Mina!!"

i called out to my younger sister 

, who was most likely lying on the couch...being lazy....

 

“Ahhh I don’t know…. Have you tried looking? , maybe it is on your bed”

she screamed out, sounded as if I was interrupting something very important...

 

“Come onl! You used it last!! Help me find it”

I heard foot steps growing nearer , as she made her way to my room.

 

I  looked up, and there she was,

and... looking very annoyed.

 

“….and I also remember putting it back into your room....” 

she said as she started to help me look..

Looking away from her, I kept searching…

 

“…I put it right here…huh? Where is ....""

 

She had on a very ridiculous confused looking face, 

I giggled at her, then continued looking.

 

Mina Kim... My sister, someone who i am very close to,

 

anyone who wants to hurt her, has to get through me.

i was getting frustrated over looking for my phone, i let out sighs of anxiousnous,

 

i was hoping not to miss my flight!

Mina POV:

I was enjoying my saturday morning, enjoying the time i got off from design school..

Just  as i was chilling out and watching music videos on Television....

 

"Mina!!!!"  

my brother had to ruin the start to my day.

 

*sighs*

After a long night studying and getting my portfolio ready,

no doubt i was expected to be tired and cranky...

 

I'm 17 years old, which makes me a whole 3 years younger than eli..yay!

I'm also in my final year of highschool, focusing on fashion design.

 

Things are becoming very stressful,

i'm on break but i still needed to get my designs ready for my final project.

and this was one of the only days i get to relax...

 

i was dragging my feet along...

 

walking towards eli's room.

 

“…. And I also remember putting it back into your room”

 

I opened the door wider and stared at him with fiery eyes…

 

Making my way into his room, I helped him look for his phone,

 

 I remembered that i clearly put it on his nightstand

 

“I put it right here...huh? Where is.....?”

 

I was sure I put it there…

i started looking under his bed,

hoping to find the phone and nothing else *coughcough*

 i am kidding...

 

BUT...trying to avoid finding anything else,  i didn't look, but just started to feel the space under the bed....

 

“Yah! " What are you doing? Stop playing!!!"

 

he playfully tapped my shoulder.

 

“I’m looking for your phone! And here you go!”

yes... i found the phone,under his bed....

 

funny how it got there....

 

“How did it end up under there??” 

 

he tilted his head with a weird look and then looked under his bed

 

(EEEEEEEEEEveryday!!!!) 

 

The phone started to ring and it startled me,

i jumped up and screamed like a little girl, 

 

after having a glimpse of who the caller was...i got upset.

 

“ahh give it to me”

 

Eli took the phone off me and answered it

 

“Oh my gosh, ewww im going to wash my hands”

 

The phone was a bit dusty ,

I gave my brother a funny look, and he stuck his tongue out at me…

 

He took the call and his tone got a bit strange..

 

“Hello? Yes I know I’m sorry, I’m on my way now…..ahh about that…”

 

I overheard the conversation he was having...

 

I tried my best to ignore it and continued to wash my hands and freshen up for the day.

 

“Mina!!!!”

 

and so my brother interrupts me again…

 

I walked out to the lounge 

 

pointing to his phone,he was mouthing the name “Kevin”

 

i avoided any conversation with him,

 

I quickly put my fingers to my lips and went "sssssshhhh"

i went back into the bathroom.

 

Kevin Woo...

 

One of my brother’s best friends,

 

and ofcourse being Eli Kim's sister also meant that i would have,

and will have many chances of meeting all members of ukiss,

 

and out of all the members... 

Kevin cares for me the most.

 

we get along very well…

 

but things are going to be different now... 

to avoid getting my heart broken

and to keep him from any pain.

 

I need to keep my distance.

Eli POV

 

“Kevin, I don’t think Mina is home…. Look I’m going to see you soon, i'll talk to you talk later bye!”

 

I got off the phone with kevin,

 

i went to say goodbye to mina.

 

“What was that about?”  i said  raising my eyebrows with concern.

 

I gave her a weird look

 

“What do you mean?”

 

she tried to escape my gaze

 

“Kevin seemed very worried, is everything okay?”

 

I patted her shoulder and smiled

 

“You won’t understand Eli…” 

 

her smile disappeared….

and she sighed,  and ofcourse i knew exactly what was going on...

 

“Okay I got to go now! I’ll see you when I get back... and try not to think about the issue, i'll sort it out.” 

 

she turned me back around and pushed me in the direction towards our front door

 

“.........Go go or you’ll be in trouble.. Don’t forget your luggage, have a safe trip okay?”

 

she handed me my bags and I gave her a hug...

 

“Bye Mina, stay safe, i left some money on the frigde, use it wisely! i will call to check up on you, stay out of trouble"

I winked at her and out the door i went.

 

"ahaha thanks eli!"

she gave me little waves as she started to slowly close the door.

 

Mina never calls and she never has called me oppa,

 

But i guess it's okay, since we did grow up in america, it sounds cheesy, when you're not in korea, if you know what i mean.

Well maybe one day.. i still have hope. i like being called oppa.
