“You’re late again Ms. Jung. Why are you late?” my teacher, Ms. Lee asked. I just stood there and shrugged. She looked like she wanted to question me again but I guess she knew where I was since I was still sweating. She gave a sigh, and let me in. I don’t think she saw the purple highlights.

I looked at the rest of the class and sat down on my seat. I thought there were empty seats. It seems full now. I looked around and saw two guys I had not seen before.

“Oh, right. You have two new classmates, Miryo. This is Ha Minwoo, and that is Park Hyungshik.” Ms. Lee pointed to the one closer to me first, then to the taller one behind. I smiled at them then turned to the front.

It was so boring I was doodling on my book. I wasn’t paying attention to Ms.Lee. I heard her, but I did not listen. The strange thing was, I felt someone stare at me the whole time. I turned back and the new guy, Minwoo, was staring at me. He smiled creepily but I didn’t smile back and ignored him. For the whole period he had been staring at me, making me feel uneasy. To distract myself, and to kill time, I drew Pororo… well what looked like it.

The bell finally rang and everyone rushed to the cafeteria. It was recess now. I wanted to talk to Minwoo and asked what his problem was, but he already went out with the other new guy, Hyungshik. Great, freshmen & newcomers already got friends.  I walked to the cafeteri
