“Hey, not bad.. You single?” some bearded ahjusshi asked me.

I stepped closer towards Minhyuk, cautious of the lurking men surrounding us. Minhyuk placed an arm around me, pulling me closer.

“She’s mine. Get your filthy eyes off of her!” he spoke firmly.

He brought me away from them, and rubbed my shoulder. “Stay by my side. Be careful of them, okay?” he assured me.

Somehow, being with Minhyuk feels different from being with my brother and the gang. Maybe it’s because I treat the boys like brothers, and Minhyuk is more like a friend. Minwoo & Shikkie are too, but they’re much more playful.

“Here we are,” Minhyuk’s voice broke my train of thoughts. He removed his arm around my shoulder, and held my hand instead. “Hold my hand so you won’t get lost.”

Psshh… I’m not some little kid anymore.. and he’s the one holding my hand. I furrowed my eyebrows letting Minhyuk pull me into a nightclub.

“How did you manage to get in here? Aren’t we still minors?” I asked alarmingly, recalling how the two huge-sized bodyguards allowed Minhyuk & me entry while the other people who had been queuing outside weren’t.

“Don’t worry about that, if you get drunk I’ll probably keep you away from those drunk erts~” he teased.

“Probably?! Yah! I’m not going to drink anyway! We’re not here for this,” I emphasized the last part.

He just ignored me and brought me to the bar counter. We sat on the high stools and Minhyuk ordered himself a drink and a coke for me. Loud music was blasting through the stereos, crazy lights & laser beams shone on the dance floor, people dancing wildly and what not, yep.... I felt SO out of place.

“See! People are even staring at us! We’re not wearing suitable outfits!” I complained again.

Minhyuk sipped his drink, whatever it was, and looked around. He seemed to be searching for someone. “Just ignore them. Here’s your drink, wait here. I’ll be right back.” He leaned to my ear and spoke over the blasting music.

“Yah! Where’re you going?! You’re leaving me alone?”

“Stay put and make friends with the bartender,” he teased me again before walking off. I was about to argue with him but I thought it was just a waste of time so I sat there and scoped my surroundings.
