Prologue:

Yoona sat at the dinner table merely tapping her fingers and staring at the clock wondering where her boyfriend, Jaehyo was. It was their anniversary dinner and she decoratively set everything. All his favorite foods prepared on sterling silver platters. She even lit candles and sprinkled rose petals all over the table. Everything was perfect although, only one thing was missing. That was Jaehyo himself. She deeply sighed.

This was typical Jaehyo, forgetful, careless, and late. After he moved from his rich, high-class neighborhood into a much lower class, he's not the same. Yoona was shocked when his entire wardrobe changed and he started wearing nothing but wife beaters, ginormous sneakers, and sagged way too much.

That wasn’t all that changed, however, he became a PLAYER. Everywhere he went, he just had to "check out" girls. Yoona caught him numerous times staring at girls and even flirting with them sometimes. But, she couldn't end the relationship. There was something holding her back. It was love. She was in love with Jaehyo no matter what happens. Although at this point, she’s not so sure anymore. She reminded him several times. Why would he forget and stand her up?

All of a sudden, her phone vibrated on the kitchen counter. "Must be Jaehyo," Yoona thought and walked towards the counter and glanced at her screen. It was a text from Sunny, her best friend who was studying at Busan University. She opened the text.

Yoona! OHMYGOSH! I’m at Club 4AM. I just saw JAEHYO! With a GIRL! Get down here ASAP!

Yoona's eyes widened at the text. Jaehyo was at a club? Tonight? With a GIRL? No, she couldn't believe it. It couldn’t be true. It just couldn’t. She didn't want to believe it. Yoona rushed to her room and changed out of her long red gown into a pair of jeans and a tee. She felt her heart sink into her stomach. Grabbing her keys, she nearly bolted to her car and started the engine. 

The club wasn't hard to find at all. Sunny took her there once for her boyfriend's party. Although she was under aged, this was urgent. She saw Sunny at the entrance. She hurried to Sunny and showed the guard her fake ID Sunny had made her. She didn't care if she had gotten caught. She needed to find Jaehyo.

The club was wild. Loud music with the smell of alcohol, and the sight of hundreds of people hooking up or grinding on one another. Yoona wondered how Sunny had managed to spot Jaehyo especially since the club was in such low light and Yoona couldn't see a thing.

"I saw him at the bar," Sunny shouted into Yoona's ear and pointed to a long narrow bar with a pool of people gathered around for a refill. "He was with a girl right??" Yoona had to ask. Sunny nodded her head, "He was with a girl. They were just talking though, but I doubt that's all there was to it."

Although Jaehyo was guilty of a lot, Yoona still trusted him. But, all that's starting to fall apart.

Yoona and Sunny literally searched the entire club. Not one sight of Jaehyo. "I know what I saw," Sunny said into Yoona's ear. Yoona nodded, "I know. Of course I believe you Sunny." Sunny nodded and started looking for Jaehyo. Sunny's shoulders deflated, "I guess we'll never find him," she thought. But just when she was about to give up, she squinted at the couple grinding on the floor and realized ...it was Jaehyo, and the girl he was with.

Sunny pulled on Yoona’s arm and pointed at the Jaehyo. Yoona's jaw dropped when she saw her boyfriend with ANOTHER girl. She couldn't do anything but stare with disbelief. Her heart dropped even more when they started making out. She gripped her hand on her hurting heart as a tear made its way down her cheek. Jaehyo stopped making out with the girl and looked up to see his Yoona, crying. She met eyes with him and another year fell.

Yoona sniffled and ran off out of the club and Sunny followed her. Jaehyo pushed pass the girl and a crowd of people until he finally caught up to Yoona and grabbed her wrist spinning her around. He saw her face and that look in her eyes that made his heart shatter into a million pieces. Yoona jerked her hand away. "Get away from me!" Yoona yelled out at him and people started to stare. Those words burned out of and made Jaehyo's face fall even more. "Yoona-ah," Jaehyo called out. Sunny stood there tugging Yoona's arm towards her car. Yoona's eyes wouldn't leave Jaehyo's.

Sunny tugged on her arm even harder and Yoona gave in. She walked away from Jaehyo, but took one last look back at his devastated face. "Yoona-ah," he whispered and kicked the wall. "Damn!" he shouted and sat on the sidewalk of the club. His head down staring at the ground.
"Ahn Jaehyo, what the hell have you done?" he thought.
