"Noona wake up." I heard Zelo say.
"Just 5 more minutes. Please Zee."
"No Noona. It's already 10:00 get up."
"Aish. You never let me sleep" I complained as I got up.
"you're just lazy Noona." Zelo fired back as I glared at him.
Aish, this kid if he wasn't my brother he would be dead by now.
"shut up" I said as I was getting up from my bed, but Zelo held my wrist to stop me.
I looked at him and his eyes were sad.
"What is it?" I said in a worried voice.
"Noona you're still having nightmares aren't you."  Zelo sadly said.
"Ani! What are you talking about?" I lied.
"Don't lie to me Noona. I hear you scream for Omma every night and you cry yourself to sleep."
I hate it when he know's I'm lying. But I mostly hate it when he worries for me. I don't want anyone worrying for me like I'm still 11yrs. old.
"I don't want to talk about it Zelo. Now go so I can change." I calmly said to Zelo.
"Why do you keep crying for Omma? Are you still having nightmares about the accident?!" Zelo yelled.
"I said I DON'T want to talk about it!" I yelled.
"Noona please tell me." Zelo begged.
"GET OUT!"
"That accident was 10 years ago Noona!"
"I said GET OUT!!"
"Omma is gone Noona!! Let it go!"

SLAP!

I slapped Zelo hard and I regret doing it. I saw him hold his face whith pain. It reminded me of appa and I didn't want Zelo to think of me like that. I was going to apologise but he beat me to it.
"Fine Noona. If you want to keep having nightmares than do. I was just trying to help."
"I don't need your help!" I yelled frustrated.
"Okay. I'll leave. Just get ready for work Noona." Zelo said sadly.
I was watching Zelo leave the room and before the door closed I heard Zelo whisper something but I couldn't hear him correctly.

"It wasn't your fault noona" Zelo whispered softly as tears ran down his face.

"Good Morning Appa!" I said.
"MORNING! IT'S THE AFTERNOON!" My father yelled.
"I'm sorry Appa I just slept in on accident"

SLAP!

"ACCIDENT?! ACCIDENT?! You're already late for work!"
I winced at the pain from the slap but I couldn't show it before I get hit more.
"Sorry Appa. It won't happen again." I said
"Next time it happens again you know what will happen! Arasso!" He smirked at me.
That smirked scared me. It meant more beatings. And I didn't want that.
"Yes. Appa I promise it won't ever happen again." I said and started walking out the house before appa gets more fired up.

Right when i left the house tears automatically started flowing down my face. I'm tired of all the beatings from appa. Ever since ommas death appa became depressed and locked himself in his room. Right after ommas funeral appa took me and Zelo into his room and started beating us. He beat us so hard that Zelo passed out. I just thought that those beatings were just the heat of the moment but, it became a daily thing for me and Zelo. If we made just a little mistake like dropping things on the floor or making little noises we would get the belt, shoe, hanger or whatever is lying around. But the words appa said while beating us always got to me, "it was all your fault she's gone!" those words engraved ont my heart. It was true what my appa said. It was all my fault omma died. Not only did omma die but I killed her and also my appa. The appa that always smiled at me and always embraced me in his arms. Because of what I did to omma I hurt appa too. I changed him. And I don't think appa will ever go back to the way he is. Because I killed him. That's why I take his beatings, because it helps me with the guilt I will always live with forever.
