He could feel it whenever he was close to the younger. This fluttering in his chest, the pounding of his heart, the clouding of his mind and the tightness of his stomach. Oh, and this feeling that no matter what, he will end up tainting the younger's pureness.

He felt it when they sang, when they danced, when they flopped onto the practise room floor breathless. He could feel it when the other was sleeping close by, when they saw each other in the morning, hair messed and make up free. He thought that the younger looked best like that.

 

He felt it when they cuddled when watching a movie, when the younger made him something to eat, when the younger pouted or acted cute, these damn butterflies and pounding heart.

 

He felt it on stage, when he cursed the younger for taking his concentration off the dance and onto him, making him muck up. But he could never say why he mucked up. He couldn't say: Because I was too busy staring at Youngjae's perfect form.

 

No. He couldn't say. He couldn't declare his love for the younger. After all, Youngjae didn't love him. Yoo Youngjae didn't love Jung Daehyun.
