Twinkling sounds vaguely echoing through the room.
The lonely feeling from tone seems like mingling on those fingers that plays.
Smokes from cigarette between Jinki-ah’s lips framed his silhouette as I glanced over him who’s sitting behind the old piano. With his white long-sleeves shirt and black suspender, he looks like an angel.

From the other side of the room I caught someone else.
Changminnie smiled at me.
And those eyes..
From here I can read his lips, he says ‘G’night, beautiful.’ before then he walks out from the room.

Clinking sound of ice lured me away from that sight.
I turned my head and see another smile.

‘Stop pretending like you don’t know what Changmin Hyung wants from you.’ Jonghyun chuckled as he put the glass of whisky in front of me.

‘And you know..?’ I mocked him back.

‘Please, just because I took orders, it doesn’t mean I’m stupid. Of course I do, just like all the guys here.’

‘Even Jungin Baby?’ I scoffed as I took the glass and pointing to the table nearby. There is a dashing young man with his suit laid on his shoulder, leaning his back to the sofa as his eyes was closed, looking all peaceful even though I believe he was only try to cope with the tiredness.

‘Even him.’ suddenly Jonghyun’s laughing.

‘What?’ I try not to sounds so interested.

‘I just remembered the look from Jungin’s face when he first introduced to you, Aegi-ah.’ He answered between his laugh while I chuckled this time because of the name he called me. Then he continued, ‘You’re a goddess, Jungin-goon said. And I couldn’t agree more.’

‘Yeah?’ I sipped my drink. A goddess who sings on a night club. Great.

I looked away again as I heard the piano sound has stopped playing.

‘If only you didn’t show everyone that look.’ Jonghyun talked to me again.

‘Hm?’

‘That sweet lingering stare at Jinki Oppa, Eonnie.’ This time a soothing voice of a woman answered to me, continued by Jjong’s small laughter.

When I turned, I see Sekyung’s captivating eyes.

‘Annyeong, sweety.’ I greeted her as I planted a friendly kiss to Sekyung’s cheek before she did the same.

‘You’re here.’ Jjong greeted his girlfriend, the new singer who’s sharing her shift with me.

Except me, the two others don’t seem to know that Jinki has stopped beside Sekyung as then he asked, ‘What’s with ‘the sweet lingering stare’, Sekyung-ah?’ as I looked all confused too.

‘Ah, really, you two Sunbaes.’ Sekyung laughs, ‘You two always seems to understand each other so well yet doing it so poorly when it comes to another people.’

Jinki stare shifts at me and I give him the look he already understood.

‘That! See, that!’ The sweet Sekyung-ah pointed out excitedly, ‘Jjong told me that if it’s not because of the importance of Jinki Oppa for you, Eonnie, everyone must’ve tried to claim their claws on you.’ She explained again.

I looked at Jinki and now he shows me that smile he always smiles.
The smile that always reminds me to endure all the pain.
The smile that I need to see everyday.

He smiles because he understands.

‘Really? Well, of course your ‘Jjong’ is an exception.’ I laugh as I replied to my Hoobae.

Jonghyun just put his hand on Sekyung’s head and patted it as the latter doesn’t seem to mind that her hair is a bit rustled.

‘Oh, what are you doing here anyway, today’s not your shift!’ Jinki just realized that and exclaimed to Sekyung.

‘So she cant come to pick me up?’ Jonghyun is laughing as he ed his sleeves and walk out from the bar.

‘If it’s me, I want my man to come and pick me. Not the other way around.’ I commented.

‘Well, there’s always a reason why you’re not my woman, then.’ Jonghyun joked as now he rounds his arm on his girl’s shoulder. Sekyung elbowed him playfully because of his words.

‘Ouch.’ I heard Jinki’s reaction as I throw a glance at him.

‘But that’s why you’re a goddess.’ Jonghyun said to me again, tilting his head and smile. Then he pointed, ‘And with your angel Jinki Hyung here, surely hell won’t freeze soon because you will stay longer here on earth.’

‘Thank you very much for your praise.’ I said in sarcasm.

‘We’re going home, see ya.’ Jonghyun said to us as then Sekyung bid goodbye too. As they turned around arm wrapping on each other, Jonghyun waved his hand.

‘Ah, the beauty of childhood lovers.’ I looked at the couple’s back as then Jinki lit another cigarette.

‘Yeah..’ He commented as he smokes and took a sip of my drink, ‘Lucky for us who have one.’

I held his arm with my hand as I lean my head on it, ‘You would never leave me, wouldn’t you Jinki-ah?’

He laughs, and as usual, he would look like a child, ‘Never.’ He released his arm from my hand only to round it to my shoulder and then told me to lean my head to his shoulder.

We’re still look at the couple who’s approaching the front door in silent.

Then I looked up to see him in the eyes, as he greeted me again with his smile.

‘You love me, don’t you?’

After a pause, he asked me back, ‘You know I always do, right?

‘.. Regardless everything?’

‘Yes, because I know you need me too.’ This time he answered even not waiting a single breath even though he understands; that his childhood lover has her heart falling for someone else.

So tell me, do I need to leave to chase the love I cant get?
Jinki loves me even if I dont.
He still can smile.
But me, I would die if Jinki leaves.

You might think Im cruel, I don’t care.
It’s just that I would die if no one loves me.
You might think I’m a , no I’m not.
Im a Goddess.

Hi!!!

Im finally back with Jonghyun's story! lol, what a long wait for him to finally appeared here!

I know not everyone of you fond of Sekyung, but i personally think she's adorable (especially after i watched Running Man!). so dont hate me because i made her to be Jjong's GF in my story :p

DBSK's Changmin and Kai's Jungin are here too for a short appearance :)
