She slowly lifted the lid up and when I saw what was inside my heart dropped. The blue sapphire was just inches away from  my face and my hand was itching to get it.

 

“Its my mom’s she gave it to me before she died. Pretty isn't it?” she  asked

 

“Beautiful, the color is so bright and strinking.” I told her

 

“Here hold it, can't you feel it? It’s like it gives you strength.” She said as she puts it in my hand

 

“Yes it does.” I smiled

 

“Oh crap I have to take out the meat.” She said as she gets up and heads back to the kitchen

 

The blue sapphire was now in my hand. Just when I was about to put it in my pocket, Mika comes back.

 

“Taemin ah how do you like your meat?” she asked

 

“Medium rare please.” I smiled

 

She smiled and headed back into the kitchen. I think its time that I take her back to the demon world. No wait If I take her now she’ll fight back. When she sleeps, that’ll be perfect.

 

“Here you go.” She said as she sat down and settled the plate down

 

“Thanks, wow looks delicious.” I smiled

 

“Come on lets eat.” She said as she starts cutting the meat

 

“Ok.” I smiled

 

don’t worry Mika soon you’ll be in my grasp.

 

~Mika’s POV~

 

“Well Mika thank you for that lovely lunch and I will see you later.” He said as he gets up

 

“Aww that was really fast.” I whinned

 

“I know but its time for me to go back.” He said

 

“Ok.” I smiled as I walked him to the door

 

“you going to be ok?” He asked

 

“Yea I’ll be fine.” I smiled

 

“Ok I’ll see you later.” He smiled

 

I closed the door and started cleaning up the mess. I walked over to the box and took out my necklace. I held it in my hands and closed my eyes, I put it in my box. I laid down and I closed my eyes and fell asleep the next thing I know I see a woman approaching me. It turns out that women was my mom, I ran up to her and hugged her close to me. I’ve missed her touch.

 

“Mom, Mom I’ve missed you so much.” I hugged her

 

“Mika, look at you sweetheart, you’ve grown so much since I saw you.” She said as she gently rubs my head

 

“What are you doing here mom?” I asked

 

“ Sweetie you're the one who called me here.” She said as she caressed my cheeks

 

“I called you?” I asked

 

“Yes, you did. Sweetie listen to me, its ok if you're the daughter of a demon ruler. That does not change the fact that your not the same Mika before. I know its shocking to find out your dad is a ruler of all demons, but at least he still loves you, and he’s still the same dad you remembered.” She said as she smiled

 

“But mom, will I become a monster?” I asked

 

“Of course not sweetie, all you have to do is just remember who you are. Mika you already know what it feels like to be a human. If you ever feel like you might turn into a monster, just remember the feelings you felt when you were a human.” She said

 

“Why did you leave me and dad?” I asked

 

“Mika, I know I left too soon, but I had to. If I lost you and survived I would never be able to forgive myself. But now your grown up and it was worth dying for it, because I got to see you grow up into a beautiful woman. I’m really proud of you sweetie.” She said

 

“Mom do you know how lonely dad is without you?” I asked

 

“I know sweetie but I had to do what I had to. I love your father and leaving him was hard. However sweetie you're my daughter, if I lose you I’d lose a part of myself.” She said as she starts to cry

 

“Mom I’m a terrible daughter I don't even remember the face of the man that killed you.” I cried

 

“Sweet heart its ok, All I want is for you to be happy.” She smiled

 

However she was slowly starting to disappear, my mom was actually starting to disappear from my eyes.

 

“Mom, Mom please don’t go.” I said as I began to cry.

 

“I love you sweet heart and remember no matter what I’ll always be with you.” She smiled and held my hand

 

Slowly her hand disappeared from my hand, I didn’t see my mom anymore of hear her voice.

 

“Mom, Don’t leave me.” I cried

 

“Don’t worry sweetheart you’ll find someone who you can always count on to be there for you.” I heard her voice

 

I was left in the darkness alone, I opened my eyes and I see Oppa’s face.

 

“Mika are you ok?” He asked

 

“Ji Yong ah.” I called his name

 

“I’ll get you a glass of water.” He said as he gets up and  pours a glass of water into a cup

 

I sat there in silence as tears trails down from my eyes, I guess that was all just a dream.

 

“Here” He said as she handed me the cup

 

I look up and his expressions turned into a concerned one, he sat down next to me and put his arms around my shoulder.

 

“What’s wrong are you ok?” He asked

 

I nodded my head and sat there in silent.

 

“Come on you could tell me anything I’ll always be here for you ok.” He said

 

I turned to look at him and stared at him, my mom had also said the same thing about finding the person who would always be there for me. I stared at him and he smiled and stared back at me. I guess I’ve always had that person already, I was just blind to never notice it. I hugged him and he wrapped his arms around me.

 

“Oh hey, what’s wrong? You ok?” he asked

 

“Thank you.” I told him

 

“For what?” he asked

 

“For always being there for me.” I said

 

“I’ll always be here for you Mika, you could always count on me.” He said as he rubs my back

 

What would I do without GD here with me? Thank you god for letting me meet him, I needed him and I wanted to be with someone like him.

 

~The next day~

 

I woke up and GD left already, I took a shower and got dressed. I headed out to my dad, I needed to tell him something.

 

“Hi dad.” I smiled

 

“Hi sweetie, good morning.” He said

 

“Morning, daddy.” I greeted

 

“What brings my little girl here so early in the morning?” He asked

 

“Dad, last night I had a dream about mom.” I told him

 

“Really? How did she look? Was she still the same?” he asked

 

“Yea, dad she was still beautiful as she was before.” I smiled

 

“I’m glad sweetie, I’m glad you got the chance to see your mom.” He smiled

 

“Daddy I’m sorry for the way I acted.” I apologized

 

“*sigh* sweet heart its ok, I don't expect you to find out you're the daughter of a demon and be calm about it.” He said as he smiled

 

“I’m still your human daughter right daddy?” I asked

 

“Mika, let me tell you this, ever since you were born I never once thought of you as a demon child, I thought of you as a human child. So nothing will change that EVER.” He said

 

“Thank you daddy, I love you.” I smiled and hugged him

 

“I love you sweetie, and believe in your mom ok.” He said

 

I left with GD and I walks out with a happy feeling, GD held my hand as I held his. For some reason today was going to be a wonderful day. However I did not know that something big was coming. I went back to my apartment to get my stuff, in order to move back in with GD. He insisted on coming with me, but I refused since it wasn’t going to take long anyways. I walked to my apartment and opened the door, when I walked in I the light and headed to my bedroom. Before I could grab my duffel bag the door bell rings. I walked towards the door and opened it to find myself face to face with Yoon ah. I stared at her, while she stared at me with anger in her eyes, ready to kill me.

 

“Can I help you?” I asked

 

Suddenly she smacked me across the face and I went flying. The corner of my mouth started to bleed and I pushed my self to get up.

 

“You dare to tell me to stay from my fiancé.” She said as she hit me again and I slammed to the wall

 

I started laughing and stared at her.

 

“Please he doesn't love you, he loves me and only me.” I laughed

 

“You little .” She said as she grabbed my by the throat

 

I could feel myself suffocating to breath.

 

“Say that you’ll give up on him.” She demanded
 

“Never… I will never… let go of the one… that I love… I’d rather die… than to give up…” I said suffering to get a breath of oxygen.

 

“STOP YOON AH!” GD screamed as he tackles her

 

She lets me go and we both fell, the boys came rushing to me and helped me up.

 

“Let me go, I have to kill her.” Yoon ah fought as she struggled in GD’s arm

 

“Stop this nonsense now!” GD raised his voice

 

“Its not fair, I loved you first, you came to me first. How did it turn out like this. I waited and waited for you thinking, oh don't worry he’ll be coming back soon to come and take my hand. Yet I find out that you have fallen for this girl. Ji yong ah I love you.” She said as she kisses him

 

My heart started beating rapidly and I could feel all my blood boiling up. I feel the power in my building up.  I get up and pulled Yoon Ah away from GD’s lips. I threw her out the window and stared at GD

 

“Mi…ka” He called me as he stuttered

 

“How dare she defies her ruler, now she will pay.” I said as I jumped out and went after her

 

When I landed I landed above her, she was laying between my legs in pain from landing on hard concrete.

 

“Who are you, and why do you keep saying you're the ruler?” she asked

 

“I am the daughter of Jang Lee Gak, the ruler of demon world. You dare to defy your ruler.” I screamed at her

 

“So what if you're the ruler, all I want is for you to get away from the person I truly loved.” She screamed as she pushed me

 

She really loves GD and I’m the one that’s in the way, what right do I have to take that away from her. She feels what I feel towards GD, and I’m the one whose interfering. I see her getting close to me and just as she was about finish me off the boys stopped her. GD approached me and held me in his arms.

 

“NO GD DON’T GET TOO CLOSE TO HER, SHES A MONSTER, SHE’LL KILL YOU IF YOU GET TOO CLOSE TO HER SHE WILL KILL YOU! COME TO ME, I LOVE YOU GD!” She screamed

 

“Yoon Ah stop it I know you slept with someone ok, I found out the last time I went back to the demon world. I hate the fact that you pretend as if nothing happened, and you don’t love me, all you care about is getting the best. But Mika she truly loves me and I love her too, so don't interfere.” He said

 

She stayed quite and stared at him.

 

“*laughs* oh man, what can I say, I hate waiting for things. It took you so long to come back I decided to someone else. Too bad you found out, oh GD you're a man who is useless and boring.” She said as she started laughing

 

I got up and approached her. The boys let her go and she was now face to face with her.

 

“You little , how dare you play with people’s feelings like that.” I said as I grabbed her by the collar.

 

“What can I say I love to jump from one boy to another.” She smirked

 

“You will suffer from head to toe, I will make sure I make you feel pain and finish you off by killing you.” I said to her

 

When I said that my hand started burning but I didn't feel pain. The only one that was screaming was Yoon Ah.

 

“Mika don’t” GD said

 

“Silence you will not disobey your ruler.” I hissed at him

 

he stayed quite and just stared at me. Finally the fire died out and Yoon Ah was still in my arms lifeless.

 

“How does it feel?” I asked

 

“Shut up you .” She cursed

 

I pulled her arms off and her head off in an instant Yoon Ah was lifeless. I stood there with her blood splattered all over my body. Her head in my hand and her and in my other. I turned around to look at the boys and they all just stood there staring at me.

 

“Mi… Ka.” GD called my name stuttering

 

~GD’S POV~

 

“She defied me, and she has to be punished.” She said

 

“Mika.” I called me again

 

“You insolent how dare you call me that. You have to respect your ruler. Now bow down to me fool!” she shouted

 

“Mika.” I called me again

 

“SILENCE!” she screamed

 

“Mika, please you have to calm down.” I said

 

“YOU DARE TO TALK BACK TO ME!” she screamed

 

she grabbed me by the collar and held me tight.

 

“You need to know who your ruler is.” she told me

 

“Mika, please you have to snap out of it.” I said

 

“HOW DARE YOU!” she screamed and threw me to the ground

 

“Mika let him go!” TOP demanded

 

“Silence! How dare you talk back to me!” she screamed

 

“Hyung it’s ok I’ll handle this.” I told him

 

“Mika, its ok you don't have to be afraid anymore. I know your scared, but I’m not leaving you at all. I promise you that, I will be here with you no matter what. Even if its hell I will still be with you.” I told her

 

I felt her grip around my neck loosen and she started to shed tears. Her face was starting to change and finally she returned to her old self.

 

“GD, what did i… what am i?” She said as she covered her face with her hands.
