He was staring at me with those sharp fierce eyes, just like he did when he and I first met. Why? Why is he here? Why can’t he just leave me alone?

 

“Mika, please you can’t do this to me. I can’t have you just walk out of my life just like that. Look you have to know that Yoon ah is not special to me, like you are to me. Yes maybe I didn’t tell you about her, well that’s just because I never really cared about her. If I did cared about her, I would of never bothered with you and just go to Yoon ah.” He explained

 

I stayed quite and stared at him. Ji Yong ah its not like that, I want to be with you but something is wrong with my body and I’m afraid of attacking you. I know you love me, its just I can't control what is happening to me.

 

“Mika please say something, I don't care if you scream at me, but please just say something.” He begged

 

“Ji Yong ah, please just leave.” I told him

 

“Mika, please tell me what it is that I have to do.” He begged as he approached me

 

“No stay away.” I told him as I backed away

 

“Mika please don’t do this.” He said as he kept on approaching me

 

“NO!” I screamed for some reason my nails grew out turning into a claw

 

My hand moved on its own and attacked GD and scratched his arms. He started bleeding and I began to cry.

 

“Please GD get away from me, I can't bear to hurt you,  Just please get as far away from me as possible.” I told him

 

“Mika.” He said as he approached me again

 

“GD don’t please, I don’t know what the hell is going on with my body, but I can’t control it.” I told him

 

Suddenly it attacked again, and this time it scratched him on his chest.

 

“PLEASE STOP!!!!!” I screamed

 

suddenly the claw finally disappeared and my hand went back to normal again. I fell to the ground as tears slowly flows out. GD suddenly sits next to me and wrapped his arms around me trying to comfort me. I pushed him away.

 

“Please don't I don't want to hurt you.” I told him

 

“Your not going to though, look.” He said as he grabbed my hand and placed it on my cheeks

 

“If you were going to hurt me you would of done it by now.” He smiled as she held my hand

 

“What's wrong with me Oppa? I don't feel like my self.” I told him

 

“Don't worry tomorrow we’ll find out ok.” He said

 

I nodded and rested my head on his shoulder. I put on my clothes and laid down with GD.

 

“Oppa please don't leave me I’m scared.” I told him

 

“don't worry I’ll be right here.” He said as he wraps his arms around my waist pulling me closer.

 

I fell asleep in the comfort of GD’s arms, how I’ve missed being wrap by his warmth. I was awaken by felt of thirst, so I got up which made GD wake up as well.
 

“What’s wrong?” He asked

 

“I’m thirsty.” I told him

 

“Wait here I’ll get you a drink.” He said as he gets up and brings me a cup of water.

 

He hands it to me and I gulped it down. However it did nothing to me.

 

“Can you get me more?” I asked

 

He nodded and walks back with the pitcher as he pours it into the cup. He hands me the cup and I gulped it down again.

 

“It’s not enough.” I said sounding agitated

 

“Here, let me pour you more.” He told me

 

“No give me the pitcher.” I told him

 

He gave it to me and I started drinking it from the pitcher. The water spilled on my clothes and bed, when I finished the pitcher. I threw it at the floor and cursed at myself.

 

“Why can't I get my thirst satisfied?” I asked myself

 

Suddenly my body smelled something that will satisfy it, I looked at GD and he smiled at me.

 

“What’s wrong? Do you need more?” he asked

 

I get up slowly and I wrapped my arms around him.

 

“Oppa.” I smiled acting flirty with him as I pushed him down, and I started kissing his neck and I it.

 

“Mika, what wrong?” He asked

 

“I need…” I said stopping in my sentence

 

“What do you need?” He asked

 

“blood.” I said as I dug my teeth into his neck and his blood

 

I could feel his blood going down my throat. I was so sure he would push me away, but instead GD wrapped his arms around my waist and patted my head lightly.

 

“Its ok, drink all you want, I won't stop you.” He said in a calm tone

 

My tears came flowing out, what the hell is wrong with me. I finally pulled away and stared at GD with teary eyes. His blood dripping at the corner of my mouth. He smiled at me as he wiped the blood from the corner of my mouth.

 

“What is wrong with me? I hear the tiniest noise, and I smell the lightest fragrance, and I’m thirsty for blood. I don't what the hell is going on. I’m scared, I’m really scared Oppa, please help me.” I cried

 

“Don’t worry I promise you tomorrow I will take you to the person who will explain everything to you, about what is going on with you.” He said s he held me in his arms

 

I was so scared, I feel like I’m becoming like what GD was. Is it possible that I might be turning into them?

 

~The next morning~

 

I woke up by the sound of my phone ringing. GD woke up too and stared at the phone.

 

“Could you pass that to me?” I asked

 

He nodded and grabbed the phone and gave it to me.

 

“Hello?” I answered

 

“Hey its me Taemin, are you coming to work?” He asked

 

“Oh no I have an emergency sorry but could you cover for me please?” I asked

 

“Sure not a prob, but i expect a reward.” He whinned

 

“How about I take you out to lunch?” I asked

 

“Deal.” He answered

 

I hanged up and stretched my body. I looked at GD and he was still sleeping. He was still in his transformed looks, and I ran my fingers through his hair. He slowly opened his eyes and smiled at me.

 

“Morning.” He greeted

 

“sorry I didn’t mean to wake you up.” I told him

 

“Its ok as long as the first thing I see is you.” He smiled

 

“thats so corny” I said as I started laughing

 

“Well at least it made you smile.” He laughed

 

“Ok look you said you were taking me to the person who knows about this whole weird things that is happening to me, so take me.” I told him

 

“Ok, go get ready.” He said as he helps me up

 

I got up and took a shower, as I finished I put on my clothes.

 

“You ready?” I asked

 

he nodded and suddenly he swopped me up and we teleported to the place. It was my dad’s retirement home.

 

“What are we doing here?” I asked

 

“Just come.” He said as he took my hand and lead me in

 

I just stayed quite and followed him. We walked inside and into my dad’s room.

 

“Hi daddy.” I immediately greeted

 

“Sweet heart what a lovely surprise.” He said

 

“Yea me too, GD said he was taking me to someone but he took me to you. GD we’ll visit my dad later ok, we have to go to the person who will explain everything to me.” I told him

 

“We’re here Mika, the person who will tell you is your dad.” He said

 

“*laughs* don’t be ridiculous GD how can my dad explain it to me?” I laughed hoping for it to be a joke

 

He just stayed quite and looks at the ground. The smile dropped from my face as I slowly turned around to look at my dad.

 

“Dad, what’s going on?” I asked

 

“Sweetie its time I tell you the truth about who you really are.” He said as he looked worried

 

“What are you talking about?” I asked

 

“Mika you are… a demon’s child.” He said

 

I dropped my shoulders and stared at him.

 

“What do you mean? I’m adopted?” I asked

 

“No sweetie, you're my daughter, but I was a powerful demon. However your mom was only a mere human. I fell in love with her, I never believed in what the humans call Love, but when I met your mother I started believing in it. But fate did not let us to be together unless I sacrifice something of mine. So I sacrificed my powers in order to be with your mom, I lived as a human ever since then. I don't know why you had powers when you were born must have been because I was too powerful, and your supposed to be a half demon, not full. Any ways sweetheart, you sealed your powers when you were little after witnessing your own mother’s death. That’s why ever since then you lived as a normal human being.” He said

 

“Why didn’t you tell me dad?” I asked

 

“I wanted to, but you should of seen your self when you witnessed your mom being killed, you were a mess. After I found out you sealed your powers and lost all of your memories, I wanted to tell you, but I saw you smiling, that was the first time ever I saw you smile since your mom died. I couldn't do it, my daughter who was suffering from the lost of her birth mom and I couldn't do anything. So when I saw that smile I just couldn't help but keep it to myself.” My dad said in a shameful tone

 

“Dad how come you didn't lose your memory when you sealed your powers?” I asked

 

“That’s because I didn't seal my memories too, you sealed your memory.” He said

 

“So I’m actually a demon?” I asked him as I fell to the ground

 

He nodded lightly and stared at me. I turned to look at GD and he had his head turned away from me. I slowly get up and started walking to the door. I wanted to get away from them and get fresh air. As I was walking I stumbled on a chair and GD caught me, but I pushed his hand away.

 

“I’m fine I just need to be by myself.” I told him

 

“Please let me help you there.” GD insisted

 

“No I just really need to by myself.” I told him as I raised my voice

 

He finally lets me go and I started walking again. I finally made it out and I headed down to the garden that they had. I sat on the bench and I cried, why didn't I remember any of this? I mean I’m a demon and all this time I was living out to be a human. What really shocked me the most is that my dad never told me about it.

 

~GD’s POV~

 

I watched as she leaves and I see her legs trembling, but I had to leave her alone since she needed time to sink in the news. I can't believe that she really is a demon, I mean yea I knew bur I never thought she would actually start becoming one. I look out the window and I see her sitting on the bench crying.

 

“Is she out there” he asked

 

“Yea she is.” I answered

 

“Let her be, I think we should just give her this time to herself.” He said

 

“Yea, sir why is Mika returning back to her demon self?” I asked

 

“maybe its because she’s surrounded by powerful demons the sapphire is giving most of her memories back. “ He said

 

“Sir I apologize to you, I never meant for this to happen.” I bowed

 

“don’t worry about it my boy, I think its best that she knows who she really is. But promise me one thing.” He said

 

“Anything.” I told him

 

“No matter what protect Mika especially from Taemin.” He said

 

I nodded my head and agreed.

 

“My boy if anything happens to Mika I don’t know what I’ll do, I lost my wife already, Mika was my only pride and joy after my wife left me.” He said

 

“Don’t worry sir, I will protect her even if it cost me life.” I assured him

 

He just smiled and nodded. Suddenly the door opened and Mika walks in, I stared at her as tears rolled down her cheeks.

 

“Dad, just please tell me something.” She said

 

He smiled and nodded.

 

“I really am your daughter though right?” She asked

 

“Of course you are, you're my daughter. We did not adopt you, Mika you are Erika and my daughter.” He said

 

She just smiled and held his hand. It wasn’t long before Mika decided to leave, I followed her and walked out of the room. She was quite the whole time we were walking. I was worried, because I know deep down she’s still shocked.

 

~Mika’s POV~

 

What should I do? I probably should say something to oppa, but what? God I  can’t look at him in the face for some reason I feel embarrassed.

 

“oppa, can I just be by my self for a while?” I asked without looking at him

 

“Ok, if you need any thing just call me ok.” He said

 

I nodded and walked off by myself, I wanted to hug him I wanted to hold his hand but I was so embarrassed I could not look at him. My foot brought me to the restaurant where Taemin was. However I did not go in or open the door. I was outside just staring at the ground. I was across the street from where the restaurant is. When suddenly I see a pair of sneakers stop in front of me. I look up slowly and stared at Taemin.

 

“What are you doing here?” He asked

 

“Taemin ah.” I called his name as I began to tear up

 

“What’s wrong, why are you crying?” he asked as he sounded worried

 

He escorted me to a bench and sat down with me.

 

“What happened?” He asked

 

I wiped my tears and just told him about how my dad lied to me about my life. I mean I can't just tell him I’m the daughter of a powerful demon.

 

“Oh so your dad lied to you about your life, well I guess all parents makes mistake that they regret and want to take back.” He smiled

 

“Taemin ah, do you want to come over today to have lunch?” I asked

 

“Sure, I’m actually on a break right now, so why don’t we go now?” He asked

 

“sure.” I smiled and got up

 

we headed back to my apartment, on the way there Taemin was excited to eat my home made cooking. We both finally arrived and I opened the door to my house. We walked in and I suggested him to go sit down near my bed. He did and I started preparing the dish.

 

~Taemin’s POV~

 

I guess he told her who she really was, must have been a shocker to her. But she was bound to know sooner or later. I guess she was just wasn’t ready. My poor love, but oh well she is finally falling into the palm of my hands.

 

“Taemin ah, I want to show you something.” She said as she held a heart shaped box in her hand

 

“This is what I normally hold when I’m upset.” She said as she put the key and opened the box.

 

She slowly lifted the lid up and when I saw what was inside my heart dropped. The blue sapphire was just inches away from  my face and my hand was itching to get it.
